Yeah, Multi-Deadlock can slaughter you if you have multiple small unions. Especially if the enemy has some nasty AoE it can use more often because of the more Unions. I still haven't encountered Bluejaws Bastard wont spawn in my game. Or he is one of those "spawns only once" enemies and I missed him when he did. The fight that was truly silly awesome for me was the big rare dragon thingie in the desert.

Kickstarter disappointments
Whn my dogtags weren't working it was because I had put them in the wrong way round... Way too easy to do with this design.

What are you reading?
Finished reading Redshirts fairly soon after starting it. That probably means it was fairly good.. Or at the very least a pleasant read. Very Scalzi, if that is a thing to say about a book written by Scalzi. Like everything he has written besides the Old Man's War series, it is better than the Old Man's War series. Had a good laugh at the fact that he deffinitly decided that if he can't come up with names, he will celebrate the fact and not hide it at all anymore. Some of the character names are Abernathy, Kerensky, Dahl... even Q'eeng is pronounced King...

I realy like the Qsiti as well. Oakes, the mercenary you can hire early on, even though he is no special character is one of my favourids. Probably because he heroically charged a huge dragon and cut it to ribbons Make sure you keep an eye out for the special characters. The combat gets tedious later on when the novelty wears off. All the trash fights get old after a bit. This game would really have benefitted from less fighting. The fights against unique rare monsters can be a lot of fun though.

The Kickstarter Thread
Wayside Creations (Fallout Nuka Break webseries) just posted this update: Hello everyone! A new Kickstarter campaign has launched for our Legend of Grimrock series. We were inspired by the success story of Finnish independent game developers Almost Human, and captivated by the Legend of Grimrock’s storyline and design, so we reached out to the creators in hopes of developing a live-action series within the Grimrock world. Equally excited over the potential of a Grimrock series, Almost Human has partnered with us to develop a new, licensed series and bring the Legend of Grimrock to life in a whole new way. The Legend of Grimrock series will bring Wayside Creations veterans and new talent together. Co-founder Vincent Talenti (Fallout: Nuka Break seasons 1 & 2 and Fallout: Red Star) is set to direct the series. Obsidian Entertainment’s Chris Avellone (Fallout: New Vegas, Knights of the Old Republic 2) is attached to the series as a writer. The cast of Nuka Break, including Wayside Creations’ series regular Vic Mignogna (Full Metal Alchemist, Star Trek Continues), will return for roles and/or assist in the development of Grimrock. As part of the campaign, backers will get access to exclusive products—including the first Steam keys to the Legend of Grimrock sequel coming out in 2014. Other rewards will include a Blu-ray/DVD combo set with bonus features, signed props from the production, and opportunities for creative input on the project. Although high fantasy is a genre not usually tackled by indie filmmakers, we look forward to creating a quality high fantasy piece supported by the strength of the independent gaming community. Legend of Grimrock is an ambitious project designed to give fans of the game the live action series they deserve, while also offering our fans a new world to explore. While the new campaign is running, we'll of course be hard at work putting the finishing touches on your Nuka Break perks. Keep an eye on the horizon for those in the near future. We invite all of you to join our newest adventure here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/waysidecreations/legend-of-grimrock-the-series

Kickstarter disappointments
Expeditions: Conquistador is a great game. Wouldn't have minded having backed that instead of SRR in hindsight I played a bit of FTL. A good game but just not my type of game.
