  1. So what are you trying to say, that only "whores" wear revealing clothes, or that everyone wearing revealing clothes is a whore? Ah, thank you so much for decontextualizing my words. Next time quote the whole post. Or even better, play Witcher 2 (the game I was referring to) and see which other women wear revealing clothes (and notice the difference between the styles of the clothing). And remember, decontextualize other people words just to make them look bad, is childish. I'm downloading Witcher 1, since I hear good things about it. I want to see how this game handles this topic
  2. So natural contraceptives! LOOOOL. But seriously, this is pretty cool.
  3. Oh some one is suddenly blind for the sake of their argument. Thank you. I found some google pics. a bit form fitting, but cool and feminine without any silliness Saint Joan of Arc, mind you she isn't meant to be feminine. Cadegund seems to draw some inspiration here. This pic I like, there is some "boob" armor but it's subdued. This however is leather armor, fitting for a barbaric woman. Who cares who looks feminine and who doesn't? "LOL I WANT TO SEE CADEGUND's BOOBS" is what half of you are saying. I don't think she's supposed to be feminine in the first place, it's coming across as "I've never had a girlfriend in real life" Let me reitoriate how I and other people arguing against boob armor never really made a case against leather armor or mage robes, I don't know why half of you are so hostile.
  4. This isn't a bug, this is how the game is. It annoyed me how we had cool weapons and on cut scenes we had mother****ing Avengers and the crappy pistol. This happened in Mass Effect 2 only like three times, all other cut scenes had the weapons we had equipped.
  5. What do you guys think of the original ending Drew had in store? Where the Reapers were actually trying to save the universe from entropy and dark matter (hinted at in ME2). And your decision would amount to: killing the reapers but possibly dooming the universe or letting humanity complete their ascension into reaper. Now I'm sure there would have been more variations, but I'm not too sure how I feel about this.
  6. Temporal, welcome to the forums. Um, how did this turn into "Hey, I want sensible armors for warrior women." To "Shut up yer feminazi, I want Obsidian to show me da boobies!"
  7. She looks downright pretty in the wallpaper shooting zombies. Opinions I guess.
  8. I know Obsidian can be trusted, I'm talking people in this thread.
  9. It's funny how no matter how intelligent and rational the argument against silly armor presents itself, people will cry "femernist agendah! Don't a-cave in Obsidiahn!" I slam my head every time I enter this tread.
  10. So apparently, flying mounts, spears and the setting for blood moon in the next DLC.
  11. And the person who did it was said an employee in this hypothetical situation, not the consumer. Actually, that's not true. Unless you're alleging that it was an EA person that went and posted it on Reddit and so forth. The closest analogy is going to be "Someone obtained access through legitimate means, and decided to distribute said access to other people that weren't technically qualified for said offer." So, unless the person that obtained the access to the coupon and posted it online was actually the employee, your comparison is incorrect. The coupon analogy I think is pretty apt since Subway actually stopped their Sub Club cards due to counterfeits as well. Lets just call a spade a spade: Someone got access and realized it wasn't restricted, so they shared it with other people on a public forum (known as the internet). I'm not surprised people would take advantage of the situation. Simple economics has people wanting to accumulate as much of their wants and needs for as little cost possible, and this enabled them to do it through a pretty direct and official means of doing so. I did not know the origin of the sale, I retract my opinion.
  12. Some people just have bones to pick Ferret's a good guy and I was glad to have met him. Was sad to see him leave, though in talking with him it was motivated in large part by family reasons as new parents. I have no problems admitting that Dragon Age 2 is not as good of a product as Dragon Age: Origins, but I absolutely will not agree with this. I have to go to a movie festival so I can't detail the reasoning by which I liked some of my favourites (three of which are Isabela, Aveline, and Varric) at this time, but if you *really* want me to, I will. Look, a lot of folks don't like the characters because their un-positive traits that were forced on us prevented the players from truly looking at their hidden depths. Their hidden depths were there, it was just underwhemed by some of the shallowness that the characters present themselves on. Example Anders: Roar, Templars! You want to the only real way to have him reveal a deep problems that wasn't that obvious in the acts? Rivalmancing him will reveal the true struggle inside. Guess what Alan? Not everyone did that. The characters appear shallow and only reveal their hidden depths in certain situations. Most of the time, their flanderilizations take a hold of them. The party members of the first game also suffered through this, but not as much. This isn't my opinion, I can see what the writers were trying to do and perhaps if they actually made a complete game it would have worked out well. I love all the Dragon Age characters, but a lot people do not like the characters, one of the reasons being what I just outlined. But you know, like you said, I'm not a "fan" anymore so my opinion isn't valid. It's funny, I defended Bioware when Dragon Age 2 was announced, I believed in Hawke. Le sigh... This was my last post on the subject here, I promise. I just think it needed to be said.
  13. And the person who did it was said an employee in this hypothetical situation, not the consumer.
  14. I'm not the one who designed that in the first place, but Obsidian. I'm also not the one who backed off from that creative vision at the first intersection, because of a VERY loud minority. And finally I didn't make a thread trying to discuss the *very important* issue of feminism being present/included in the game, which apparently seems to be one of the top issues along with romances instead of actually talking about game issues or design, look up in the topic title it's right there before you "lol" about it again. The chip on your shoulder is more like a side order of fish and chips with a tray attached to your body. You seem one of those guys that think you know what an RPG is and how people are caving to a new order. And finally LOL
  15. If it fits the character and not too over the top, sure. Same with mage robes.
  16. I really hope effing not, was Planescape considered one of the worst games ever? Wasn't its plot amazing, isn't it being lauded everywhere as Black Isles/"Obsidians" best game, possibly the best storytelling in a CRPG whatsoever and doesn't even the OP even have a character portrait stemming from there as an avatar? Quoting from that games vision document: How the hell does "feminism" or breast size come in to play as to how well written some characters are (or on a larger scale a game) or how good their characterization is, is it somehow "in" now to discriminate against women with big breasts? And am I the only one to find it absolutely hilarious that people came out in droves to complain about how "unrealistic" this is, despite the armor being perfectly fine in the function it is supposed to accomplish: But nobody seems to be complaining about a geriartric lacking any sort of body armor and apparently only fighting with his fists being "unrealistic" at all? Were all the complaints about "realism" even only a ruse to push through feminist agenda yet again, mayhaps and why should that now be relevant to game design? Lol feminist agenda Hey, you made a comprehensive post here just to...what? Boob armor?
  17. This isn't a cashier being left open, this is a manager coming in drunk to work and sell everything at one dollar at a whim.
  18. I can have a discussion on Fallout 3 vs. Fallout NV and respect opinions. Not Dragon Age 2, a half completed cash grab in which half the game was left for a cancelled expansion, sorry.
  19. I got binders full of women! He also made an indirect remark on how are employers have to make flexible hours for women because they have to take care of their kids and cook dinner. Because you know, only women cook dinner and take care of kids.
  20. No please, Grimdark should have been left behind in the nineties. Life has bad and good moments.
  21. I already pledged up after the expansion and Wasteland announcement.
