I think the Packers and C-Hox are similar in that they are both very flawed teams nowhere near as good as their records suggest, but they both have a QB I am absolutely terrified of if I'm up less than a TD late in the 4th and they have the ball. I picked GB by virtue of home field and I think they're overall slightly better.

^ Maybe it's a New York thing? The J E T S Jets Jets Jets don't exactly have a sparkling record of draft picks and trades. Furthermore, over on the hoopsphere side of things, the Knicks are the posterchild for baffling drafting, questionable trades, and crippling contracts. The Nets aren't far behind them in those categories.

I flat out hated the 2013 reboot, while at the same time recognizing that it was a fairly good game. It just wasn't what I wanted out of a Tomb Raider game. I wanted to raid tombs, not play a cover shooter with a Tomb Raider coat of paint. I found Rise to be a significant step in the right direction. Still WAAAAAY to much murdering for my taste, but at least there was a good bit of tomb raiding. The jury is still out on Shadow, but so far so good. Then again, they instantly won me over with the OG Lara character models (I'm easy like that). If nothing else, the game is super pretty and jungle ruins always look great. Also, I will say this for the reboot trilogy as a whole. There's at least one thing they fo really well: The OH ****!!! EVERYTHING IS COLLAPSING AROUND ME. RUN!!! setpieces are rad as ****. If they made a game that was entirely challenge tombs and run for your life setpieces, that would be my jam. -

You can just not press "Q", which is what I do. I never use Raider Vision, or whatever this game calls Detective Vision, Witcher Sense, etc. -
A big thumbs up to the devs for including Tomb Raider 2 Lara with my beloved blue tank top and khaki shorts (also available is the bomber jacket outfit): And also Angel of Darkness Lara: The character model even appears in cutscenes: Her facial expression doesn't change nor do her lips move with the OG models, which is super hilarious at first, but after the novelty wears off it just makes the cutscenes kind of creepy and awkward. I'll switch to a Nu Lara model to play through the campaign then switch to OG Lara once I'm done and just cleaning up challenge tombs, collectibles, challenges, etc. I'm still hoping I can get the classic blue tank top and khaki shorts outfit for Nu Lara, either as an unlock in the game or via a mod.

If he can keep up this year's blistering pace, he can do it in less than 9 years. I believe in you, Jameis.

Y'all are acting like it's Tom Brady's decision to make. The real question you should be asking is "Would Giselle want to see Tom playing is a different jersey?"

Shadow of the Torture Porn Raider. I was at my company's home terminal yesterday. While the wifi there is by no means blazing fast, it's still significantly faster than the average truck stop wifi, so I was able to finish downloading the game. I'm glad it seems that this game will take place in a warmer locale. I wanted to rock a tank top in Rise, but I couldn't bring myself to make Lara wear that in Siberia. While running the benchmark to find my optimal graphical settings, I noticed Lara wearing a blue tank top, which made me happy, but she had on long pants. GIVE ME THE KHAKI SHORTS YOU COWARDS! I should scour Nexus Mods and such, somebody must have made a mod that allows me to turn Nu Lara into OG Lara if the game doesn't have the blue tank top and khaki shorts outfit available. I haven't played anything past the intro yet. True to form, the game starts out with a dirty, bloodied, and bruised Lara. Somebody at Eidos or Crystal Dynamics has a serious hard on for torture porn. I will give the developers a big thumbs up for giving me the option to fine tune difficulty, allowing me to turn exploration and puzzles to hard while keeping combat at normal. -
Well, he's a genuine NFL head coach, so that's an upgrade over Princeton Red in and of itself. It won't matter much if Jerry doesn't listen to him and allow him to do his job and tries to micromanage the team himself. Is there a chance that the Giants hire Garrett? That would be AMAZINGLY HILARIOUS. Sorry, Volo (not really sorry).

He does look a bit like a hamster.

I went an atrocious 1-3 on my picks, but the 1 W was in the only game in which I cared about the outcome, not because I particularly like the C-Hox, but because I want Philly and their fanbase to suffer like I do. Schadenfreude, get the sensation! Anyway, since my awful terrible team full of no good losers is out, I'm all in on Handsome Jimmy and the Niners.

For gaming, Intel is still tops, albeit by the slimmest of margins. For nearly everything else, AMD is indeed king. I fully expect Ryzen 4xxx to be the king of gaming too. Intel has steadily lost ground in every category they used to dominate in with every new iteration of Zen and Core processors. I don't expect that to change because Core is such an archaic platform at this point. It was phenomenal when it came out and had a fantastic run, but it doesn't scale nearly as well as Zen. I'm sure Intel has a new architecture in the works, but until that sees the light of day they are plugging holes in a sinking ship. Heck, Intel doesn't even have the lead in process node technology they held since the beginning of time anymore.

FWIH both Belichick and Brady very much wanted to keep Brown, so the decision to cut him likely came from above them, Kraft, I would imagine.

I'm planing to do a whole new desktop this year targeting 4K, mainly for Cyberpunk 2077. The thing is, I have my heart set on a Ryzen 4xxx and that won't be out by April. Rather than cave and buy a Ryzen 3xxx, I'll likely just hold off on Cyberpunk until whenever the new Ryzens come out... likely October-ish. By then, hopefully, Navi21 and RTX3xxx cards will be out too. I'd love to do a full Team Red build, but I'll evaluate that once the nexy gen of GPUs are out.

All the signs were there: How shaky the Pats had been all year, especially down the stretch. How mortal Brady had looked at times during the season, not helped by having nobody to throw to. How well Tennessee matched up across the board with the Pats on paper. Still, I never thought it would happen, the Pats going out in the wild card at home like this. Was Tom Brady's final pass as a Patriot a pick 6?

Bills played great D that first half. Josh Allen looking comfortable out there. The Texans are going to need to make some big adjustments for the 2nd half, because this is looking like a repeat of last year. Edit: What the heck was that on the second half kickoff!? Edit 2: LOL Texans. I think this game is just about over. If the Bills get a TD off this fumble you can stick a fork in Houston. Edit 3: That turned around quickly. We got ourselves a ballgame! That was the saddest series of plays for the Bills on that last drive. Grats Texans. Great comeback.

Will Fuller is out for today's Bills/Texans game. I suddenly feel a bit better about my pick.

My main concern is whether this will be a game worthy of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. name. What storefront(s) it appears on is a VERY distant second.
