Everything I've heard about Half-Life: Alyx is overwhelmingly positive. I'm still not dishing out a cool grand for a Valve Index, but this seems to be the closest thing VR has to a system seller.

Transformers, more than meets the eye. Alternatively, play Emerson Lake and Palmer while viewing the above gif.

Too bad it wasn't made by Microsoft. If it was then the 3rd installment would be called Drakengard One and, oddly enough, that title would actually make some sense, chronologically speaking.

I'm already anticipating that when COVID-20 comes out it will just be a glorified roster update, but they will try to pass it off as a full fledged new disease.

Rise is better and Shadow is much better. Shadow is a legit good game IMHO. The reboot series becomes more actual Tomb Raider and less Geara of Lara as it progresses. For example, the sequels have actual tombs to raid. Heck, Shadow even has a couple that aren't completely insultingly easy. Still too easy for my tastes, but better than the Baby's First Platforming Puzzle crap that passes for challenge tombs in the first reboot game. -
I thought the first installment was Drakengard?

Or a really exciting surprise, depending on what they're into.

It feels weird watching the world grind to a near halt while my life has remained mostly unchanged. The benefit of hauling food products, I guess; they can't shut us down because mass starvation would be a lot worse than anything COVID-19 can do. That kind of job security feels especially good during this crazy time. I feel for the people in precarious financial situations, which, here in Murica, is a shockingly high percentage of the population. I was living relatively close to check to check myself before I made my career change 2 years ago.

Only the finest and most disciplined and upstanding soldiers are in my squad: I mean, she's not wrong.

I've reached chapter 7 in Valkyria Chronicles 4. This is the all hope seems lost portion of the story. I'm pretty impressed with the mission variety so far. Unit composition can make all the difference in a mission, so it's not always optimal to stack my squad with scouts and snipers, which is my innate tendency. I'll also give the game a thumbs up for not cheating so far. The enemy units, including special units, seem to play by all the same rules I have to play by. Few things irritate me more than a game having a different set of rules for the player than for the AI enemies, so it's a relief that doesn't seem to be the case here. -
^ Maybe he was a cheater, but he's reformed now that he's in Tampa. Sort of like a born again Christian.

If Bucs win a SB this is 100% worth it. This the best group of receivers Tommy Terrific has had in... ... ever?

Dak has all the leverage in the situation. He's not a franchise QB, but he is a legit starter, and an above average one, at that. I operate under the belief that there are 15-20 legitimate starting QBs in the league at any given time and 12-17 teams each year are starting guys who are of backup quality, but are starting because there aren't enough legit starters to go around. That makes legit starters precious commodities. So, what do you do if you're Jerry? If you pay Dak franchise QB money, you are overpaying. If you don't, he will go on the market and someone else will overpay for him. What are the odds you get a better QB either via draft or the market? Not good.

Brady on the Bucs is going to be Montana on the Chiefs or Emmitt on the Cards weird.

I'm way too early in to pass judgement on the game, but I'm having a blast with it so far. You can't rush through a whole mission with just one scout in a single turn since every successive time you select a unit in the same turn they get drastically less AP. Even a scout can barely move more than 10 or 15 yards the third time you select them in a turn. That said, scouts are still the best infantry unit in the game IMHO, at least so far. -
Unless Microsoft plans to take a pretty hefty loss on each console sold at the beginning, the xXx_BoX_xXx is going to be quite expensive. All the horsepower in the world won't matter if Sony massacres them in the exclusives department again. They have been snapping up studios left and right, so it seems they are trying to address that exact issue.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is scratching my tactics itch. Tactics games massage that same area of my brain that puzzle games do and they also enflame my mild OCD. For example, I went through the third mission of the game and initially got a D rating. I went back through it, armed with the knowledge of what I'm up against and a new, more optimized squad composition. I got through it much faster and, all proud of myself, watched the score screen come up and... B rating. Now, I'm racking my brain trying to figure out how to shave off 1 more turn off the completion time. -
Halloween is going to be off the chain this year once this blows over and people are left with closets full of toilet paper.

See, it fits their business model perfectly!

As a silver lining, so many businesses being closed means far less traffic on the roads. I pulled into Toledo Ohio this morning right during what would normally be the height of the morning rush and there was little traffic, no slowdowns at all. There's always the chance we get shut down too, but they can't shut everything down, people still gotta eat, and we exclusively haul food grade liquids (milk, cream, liquid eggs, juices, etc.), so I'm fairly confident we'll keep running.
