  1. They will come clean once they have all our money. That way if you don't like what the makeup of the game is, It will be too late they have our money. We are all taking chances on how we think the game will turn out in the end.
  2. You can't ****ing make a game that pleases everyone, that's wrong. Damn I hate that attitude. You know what happens then? Dragon Age 2 happens, and Oblivion happens. So you're saying make the game into a encrypted language learning curve ? I would like a game that takes it's cues from the Infinity Engine games and similar types of cRPGs (Arcanum, Fallout, etc). Mainly games that the folks at Obsidian were involved with in the past. On top of that, I would also like to see how Obsidian could use Project Eternity to showcase new and interesting ideas/mechanics for the genre. As a result, I'm perfectly happy to sacrifice many things taken for granted in modern RPGs that don't add all that much: cinematics, full VA, AAA graphics, romances, and mass market appeal. That is what Obsidian promised and that is what I'm hoping for. Why is that desire so foreign to you? Now I understand what you want. I like the fallout way myself.
  3. I feel ya ! Your going down that route because you feel like your not winning and I won't back down.
  4. I see you assume you know what I want . If I say the glass is half full ,you will tell me it's half empty.

  6. That's pretty crafty, framing the debate so that your side just wants an enjoyable experience, while the other side consists mainly of fanatics. Thanks I guess..lol It just what I feel when I read the post. There are some people trying to force feed how they want the game to be. What's wrong with making the game enjoyable for all types of game players that love RPG's ??? Because making a game for all types of players wasn't what they initially promised when they started the Kickstarter. And since "all types" include BSN denizens, Bethesda LARPers and even worse things I don't want to play (and pay for) a game that takes their tastes into account. That is your thoughts, so your doing the same thing. I guess you know what type of player me and everyone else is ?

  8. I agree some people want to eat, sleep and sh*t PE and other just want a enjoyable fun game that you don't have to poke your eyes playing.
  9. I do, quite commonly. In fact, some such D&D games were made in this particular "Infinity Engine" that were rather pleasant, especially the first Icewind Dale. Great art, neat encounters, loved the music. Now, I am told there is some such game by some of the developers of Icewind Dale who wish to make a game that is a spiritual descendent of those Infinity Engine games. Pray tell sir, would you happen to know where I may go to discuss this game and whether or not it has mechanical similarities to its influences? I want it to be more like Fallout..I don't want it to be dice roll skills.
  10. If they make this game a job to play and take the fun out leveling this game will have a fast death .
