Oh yeah I'm using Q for my offensive ability, does it matter? Yeah, I opened a thread with the same topic. Turns out that when cheats are enabled, Q, K and I believe P? act as "instant damage/kill" hotkeys, so you can just get through an encounter by hovering your mouse over a target and either instantly killing it or taking chunks of its health away. Ahhhh I see! That explains then thank you

Let's gather feedback for AI customization here
dunehunter replied to Doppelschwert's topic in Backer Beta Discussion
One problem with customization AI, 'Action Set Cooldown' still ignore conditionals. So if you set the action cooldown to 10 (10 second) the AI will use the action without check conditionals every 10 second. Only the first time AI will check conditonals. -
I still think Devotions is too good in DF than it is in PoE 1, since the effect of a lot buff/debuff is nerfed in DF, like stun/paralyze nerf, all acc bonus is tuned into inspiration for example wizard lvl 1 spell that gives 15 acc now only gives 5 perception. But devotions is not changed, which makes it really outstanding from the rest and feel too good to me.

multiclasses feel underwhelming now
dunehunter replied to mrmonocle's topic in Backer Beta Discussion
Nah I think they are fine. I think multclass should provide more choice but not be more powerful right. So if I wanna play a paladin but don’t wanna pick his support abilities, I can multclass a rogue and put points into DPS ones and etc. I have to say before this beta I seldomly use single class but now I tried a single class chanter and cipher and I’d say they are not too OP, but still doing good compare to multclass ones. Great improvement from the dev team. -

[Beta4] Assorted list of minor bugs
dunehunter replied to MaxQuest's question in Backer Beta Bugs and Support
I always think shieldbearer’s prevent death special is almost useless because you already heal the dying ally with LoH, so unless the damage incoming is higher than the HoT, it’s useless.... -
Behavior Conditionals for Ascendant missing
dunehunter replied to dunehunter's topic in Backer Beta Discussion
Ascendant is way much better now, since the spell speed is much faster for cipher, and the duration of Ascend is very long now, my 20 INT Ascendant has a duration of around 30 second Ascend which is more than enough for me to spam all good spells, maybe too good in late game. -
I'm surprised that in the Behavior Editor there is no such conditionals for Ascendant that is like 'Self: At max focus'. Imo this is very important for an Ascendant AI to work functionally.

Holy Medication gives Resolute for 10 second, Resolute gives Concentration for 6 second, so how long will the Concentration last??? 6 second, 10 second or 10+6 second??? Really confusing until one pick and used it.

So I raise these abilities because they feel a bit messy to me. Psycho Shield: Self +lvl 1 Resolve Inspiration, Enemy -10 Resolve; Wild Leech: Self +lvl 1 Inspiration, Enemy -lvl 1 Affliction; Borrowed Instinct: Self +20 acc +20 def, Enemy -8 Int, -8 Res; Devotion of the Faithful: AOE +4 Mig, +20 acc; Imo all these +-acc, def and attributes should be put into inspiration/affliction category for balance concern. It's just funny a lvl 4 Cipher spell is weaker than lvl 2 ones. And some spells is extremely powerful because they stack with the current inspirations and number of bonus is pretty OP compare to current Inspiration/Affliction system. My suggestions: Psycho Shield: Self +lvl 1 Resolve Inspiration, Enemy -lvl 2 Resolve Affliction; Wild Leech: Self +lvl 2 Inspiration, Enemy -lvl 2 Affliction; Borrowed Instinct: Self +lvl 2 Percerption Inspiration +lvl 2 Resolve Inspiration, Enemy -lvl 1 Int Affliction, -lvl 1 Resolve Affliction; Devotion of the Faithful: AOE +lvl 1 Might Inspiration, +lvl 3 Perception Inspiration; Also Devotion of the Faithful is much much stronger than the lvl 5 priest spell Champion's Boon too, zzz.

PoE1 version Scion of flame VS DF one
dunehunter replied to dunehunter's topic in Backer Beta Discussion
Also I have no idea the Counters do, a lot fire spells have Counters: Water, Frost, but does it do anything? -
Phrase and generic talents are mixed together, which is OK but not neat.
-
The +% damage of these two abilities, do they ever worked in the beta? I remember they never worked before so never test their potentials. And the description of Knockdown Combo says it will greatly improve the next attack damage, but acutally it last 10 second, so a bit confusing.
-
The problem with two handed style is the same problem for all damage bonus because they are all flat additive bonus, which makes them much weaker when u already have high damage bonus.
-
The problem with backstabbing is that you trade time for burst damage. Your total DPS is not increased a lot. You need to waste 3 sec to turn into invisible and this is DPS loses. I’m not sure how much damage you do more with it. It’s like summon weapon, u need to prepare it and the gain must compensate the time loss. Shadowing beyond is good but 3 guile cost is meh... And backstabbing + FoD with dual Sabre is not behind great sword at all, though the initial strike is weaker, but since FoD is full attack ability so the total damage is pretty close, but with lower recovery time.

PoE1 version Scion of flame VS DF one
dunehunter replied to dunehunter's topic in Backer Beta Discussion
The new talent is purely rely on keyword, so if there are some weapon doing fire damage or some abilities doing fire damage, but without fire keyword, then sorry scion of flame won’t work. This is the reason I like PoE 1 Version better.
