  1. I tried searching the forums for threads regarding the NPCs but found nothing. If there is already previous threads about this, please lock this one. Anyway, I am wondering how much information there is about the joinable NPCs in the game. This is there information I have picked up through updates (please correct me if I'm wrong about this): Edér - Human Rogue Pallegina - Godlike Paladin ? - Orlan Cipher Have any others been confirmed? There should be 8 in total if I remember correctly. I am mostly interested in the classes covered by the NPCs, since there will be less NPCs than there are classes in the game, it might influence what class I pick for my PC.
  2. I'm more concerned with the functionality of the mega dungeon. First of all, I hope that if I clear level 1 of all foes, none of them respawns when I come back later. Cause it will be a drag beating them all over and over again since I imagine I will crawl the dungeon at more than one occasion during a play through. And given that fact, I hope there will be a funcitionality so I can "fast jump" to the last level I was at when I left the dungeon the last time. Cause again, I imagine it can become a drag walking through all the levels up and down all the time if you go to the dungeon at several occasions.
  3. How do they fund a delay? And perhaps more importantly, how do you judge what is a "better game"? A game in development for 10 years isn't necessarily objectively better than a game in development for 2 years.
  4. I'm quite sure her name is Carte Blanchett. And yes, she will act as the hostess for the Lost Backer inn. This must now come to pass. Yeah, so who pens the pm and forwards it to Sawyer?
  5. Wasteland 2 is probably going to be out sooner than you think. Oh, I don't doubt it will be released this year. However I think there will be plenty of bugs and balancing issues, making the game playable at earliest during the early part of 2015. And yes, I realize that it is a subjective judgement, what is playble and what is not.
  6. Regarding Wasteland 2, I just read their lates update and they are still adding and changing a lot of stuff, despite being beta. I think you can expect a stable and balanced game in 2015 at the earliest. I just hope PoE doesn't travel the same road.
  7. I'm quite sure her name is Carte Blanchett. And yes, she will act as the hostess for the Lost Backer inn.
  8. Are you serious about this? Picture yourself as Josh, getting a suggestion from an idiot from Sweden that boomerangs should be added as a weapon into the game. What do you think he would answer?
  9. If this really happened, you are my hero. I was only kidding of course. They loved my boomerang! So much that boomerangs are now a new weapon in the game!
  10. So I got a mail from Rose regarding my item. Apparently my Cat boomerang wasn't a smash hit.
  11. Demand to see this. Need . . .To . . . Know . . . More. as far as I can tell those are the only two new tidbits in the interviews. Indeed. It is interesting how the openess of this kickstarter has lead to many articles being basically obsolete or uninteresting. Just a rehash of what we already know.
  12. I'm not taking anything out of context. Large chunks of the article was purely descriptive of what the game is about in general, and some, specific terms. There were a few spots where he gave his own impressions and it was those spots I was relating to. His lack of "wow-feeling" was one. Another significant one was where he mentioned the quests he saw which, to him, seemed quite bland. A standard save-the-princess-quest for example. Which to me adds to the worries. Nevertheless I'm looking forward to the game of course.
  13. Who are you talking about, besides Nathan Grayson of Rock Paper Shotgun? None else. I can see how my previous post came off wrong. Sorry about that. Worrying none the less.
  14. That is fair. I understand it can be a mountain to climb.
  15. Josh is pretty frank, as he has been before, but I back his opinions. I think they are moving in the right direction with this game. My concern though is that some journalists who got previews haven't seemed to be that very impressed with the game and its quests.
  16. I agree with you do. For me, the pace of leveling is too fast in todays RPGs. It's less of an acomplishment if the levels come too fast. But I have faith in the dev team. In some post, Josh indicated they had the pace of the leveling under consideration.
  17. Sounds great. However, it would be nice to get a short message even if there aren't any questions or problems. Just to get a confirmation everything is in order and moving along nicely. The reason asking for this is that, atleast I, haven't gotten any confirmation at all so far that my item description actually got through to you. Technically it could be lost in cyber space due to some freak glitch for all I know. So just a short message would calm my nerves.
  18. No. Druids' forms are costly on their own. Making sex-specific variants would be an even larger investment of time. Thanks for the answer. Wasn't asking for it, I was just wondering what your plans were.
  19. Debating my Bat boomerang is pointless and I expect it implemented already. Dammit, you too? Well this is awkward... Didn't you get the PM? Your's was renamed Cat boomerang. Sorry.
  20. You're so certain and still way off. Perhaps a more humble approach would suit better? Anyways, seems like the devs are on top of things. Goodie.
  21. Human I think. That's the plan at the moment atleast. And plans tend to change.
  22. I guess we missed the one under yours. I'm reading your posts with the voice of Patrick Warburton in my mind. And it's awesome. But seriously, let them focus on the main game first and foremost. They're a small team. Bunch of dwarves, the lot of 'em.
  23. And 7 nights. But seriously, why is the deadline a big deal? Or are you expecting feedback the next day? Cause I'm certainly not. Debating my Bat boomerang is pointless and I expect it implemented already.
