  1. Malak's 'betrayal' of Revan was neither clever or thought-out, it was impulsive and cowardly. Lord of Betrayal? Hardly.
  2. Give it a little time. If you still don't like it, then that's okay. It's only a game after all. No prob.
  3. So basically you want first person rpgs for computer, eh? Troika recently made a game called Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. Not sure how good it is, since I've never touched it, but you might like it if you can get over the bugs and slow framerate. Morrowind might also be worth a try. I personally do not care for it, but it is a first person rpg (and a cheap buy too!). But as others have said, Fallout and Baldur's Gate are still #1. Not sure how much time you spent on them, but it was a short period, I'd suggest atleast giving them a chance to prove themselves.
  4. I say average the two together (530km). It's so much easier that way.
  5. In the stories of the Star Wars universe, the Sith always seem so much stronger (with leaders like Exar Kun, Revan, and Vader), but they can never remain that way. Great leaders do not pass on secrets or knowledge to those who will succeed them, so they can really only know as much as the Jedi currently do. They also have trouble remaining focused on cooperating against their enemies, so as soon as they gain a good footing they immediately start fighting amongst themselves. They may be the most powerful in the universe for a single generation, but they will then die out again until a good many generations later. <_< So, I'll say the Jedi are better thanks to their consistency.
  6. I may have to grab JE this summer. Edit: Fixed a stupid mistake.
  7. If developers try to do too much, their games get weakened. It happened with KotOR2, and now we're stuck with tons of bugs and a weak ending (though overall the game was very good). Morrowind walked itself into the same problem when it created a huge world to explore, and then didn't put anything interesting inside.
  8. What kind of game are you making?
  9. Morrowind was supposed to be revolutionary as well. <_<
  10. ***SOME SPOILERS BELOW*** As far as I know, the concept of a wound in the force has never been introduced to Star Wars prior to KotOR2. Because of that, the earliest you could figure it out was when you speak with Visas and Kreia about Nihilus on the Ebon Hawk, though even then to figure the Exile's secret out would be quite a stretch. By that time in the game, you have gone through Peragus, Telos, and half of your first planet. I honestly cannot remember how long it usually takes to get to that point on one's first playthrough (anyone want to help me out here?), but I'm sure it's more than two or three hours. As far as Kreia goes, you're right.
  11. You could figure out that you were after only a few hours of play? I somehow doubt it.
  12. Arcanum, ToEE, and Vampires from Troika, as well as a few other random games such as Morrowind and the FF series (neither of which I care for).

    FALLOUT

It'd be nice to have you back.
  14. Darthmole is obviously a sith lord. I mean, just look at his name and avatar.
  15. Maybe it's just bad timing on your part. See the following link for details. http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=32773
  16. Very well, you win this one. But he said he likes to watch CNN, suggesting he meant on the TV, which does not have a gaming section. You hate Christmas? What are you, the Grinch?
  17. Can't say I've ever seen CNN cover any gaming news. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I find you lack of faith disturbing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They have a game section at their site. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Eh? I just took a look (my curiosity was too great) and the closest thing I saw was an Entertainment section, with subsections of movies, music, tv, and books. No gaming section to be seen. Not that it matters much, though.
  18. Although I won't go to the level Hades has, I'll agree that it wasn't very funny.
  19. Can't say I've ever seen CNN cover any gaming news.
