We'll probably need at least two more of these before the economy starts ramping up, so it'll be like last year. I can understand why they don't want to fund the whole thing at once, since there's a lot of uncertainty about how it will trend in the near term.

I remember when Seahawks fans were bummed about losing DC Quinn after a couple of SBs with the Legion of Boom. Looks like his reputation has taken a bit of a turn since then.

Really bad dialogue options...

So... the Trump administration is now refusing to pay Giuliani's legal fees. Maybe now we find out what Giuliani has on Trump? Things could get even more interesting... Rudy Giuliani says he has 'insurance' if Trump tries to throw him under the bus in the impeachment process

Well they wouldn't be the first administration accused of stealing goods from the White House. Remember this? Trump Ended 2018 France Trip Having Art Loaded on Air Force One Turned out the art was fake. Heh.

Red, white, and bang (the gun).

With a two-party state the two parties can police each other, which lowers net corruption. A one-party state will stop listening to the voters.

Mmm, so what? A two-party system is still preferable to a one-party system. The Republicans will need to flush the taint of this jerk from their system in order to move forward.

Actually, if Mitch goes for it they just might. The reasoning is that with Trump gone, the party can reboot itself. Without that, he's a permanent boat anchor that could cost them more elections.

Yes, it's not automatic but the senate can include a ban. Plus he'd lose the bene's from the 1958 Former Presidents Act, which includes a handsome pension. He still gets Secret Service protection though, cause you never know if somebody might want to execute general order 666. 🙀

Trump. Impeached. Again. So much losing. At least this time it was over quickly.

We had a wind storm in the Puget Sound area last night and power was out until 6pm. Man, you never appreciate how much you depend on electricity until its gone. At least now I can get some heat back on now. Brr. 🥶

Yeah, this was coming at some point -- it's been predicted for some time; accelerated climate change has just upped the risk. Nations will likely need to set aside a chunk of their defense spending on contagious disease medical technology now. But maybe we'll get some useful advances out of it.

I'm sure they'll blame Antifa for that too.

Math dealers.

A lot of religious and business leaders have turned on Trump after the riot. He will still have a core of supporters in the Republican party, but many others will view him in a new light after this. I have to think he'd been viewed as an unattractive candidate in 2024 who won't bring out many voters, not to mention he'll now have difficulty trying to attract campaign funding, so that may burn his primary chances.

I was thinking this morning: the South finally managed to sack the Capitol. Not really funny, I know. Dark humor.

Not really. Short term fluctuations in stock level rarely determine long term success. It's already bouncing up again this morning.

Imagine all the electricity that just wasted. 😱 Digital currency always seemed like a quasi-pyramid scheme to me.

The thing is, this attitude is true of influenza vaccines as well. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2810172/

I doubt it will matter long term. Twitter will survive on the merits of the media platform it provides, not whether some twit is posting.
