  1. Is there someone else you think of who they could get that is more qualified? Because all the money raised is ultimately going to be go towards paying the people who make the game. with this money how many less know but equal talented artists could be paid?
  2. I ask myself if this money couldn't better invested.
  3. If he wasn't busy with his own company and his own project right now, I'd say Brian Mitsoda. I would like too see Brent Knowles involved in this project somehow, and he is unemployed.
  4. They will just canibalize the franchise if it funds the main game with the expansion money. That's why i'm not so confident about this expansion talk, it means they will give for free a expansion copy in the future.
  5. I have mixed feelings about this. The money raised from the expasions pre-orders will fund the main game or the expansion itself? It doesn't made much sense.
  6. I think someone should do a poll about the most popular writer.
  7. No, it stays with you 4ever
  8. I just contribute with 25$ today, do I need more * or am I already in?
  9. I'm looking for a digital copy of this game but it seems like it was erased from the internet. Does anyone knows why? Is there a place still selling it?
  10. so much graphic phobia here
  11. Jesus Why they couldn't just wait for PE kickstarter ended?
  12. This doesn't made much sense. He left Obsidian not long ago, He should change his mind very fast.
  13. This. This. This! Although I think 3M should be enough. Having a recognizable and talented person onboard the project as a stretchgoal (whether it's Ziets, Mark Morgan or Justin Sweet) will probably raise a lot more funding, like it did for WL2. I also think that additional time and resources for polishing the game would be a great stretch goal, as it would make the backers a lot more confident that the game will have a minimum of bugs and balancing issues at release date. lol, isn't Ziets already in obsidian? and you people are very, very optimist on the stretch goals, at this rate it will barely reach the 2.4 mark
  14. I am of the opinion that graphics are not the most important part of an rpg. However, good graphics certainly don't hurt, so although I prefer depth of content as oppossed to more, I wouldn't be completely opposed to money being used to make the game more visually appealing, as long as it doesn't compromise the core gameplay and depth of the initial concept. The problem is that there isn't such a relation. Bad graphics would just bring less money to the franchise
  15. The Ultra-hardcore players should stoping pretending that combat-graphics isn't important for the vast majority of us.
  16. Looks like the Myth world, what is nice.
  17. Don't go for a really big goal as 4 or 5 millions, as if they don't get hit it will fell like a failure. Said that, I think a ultimate goal at 3.5 millions would be kind of perfect
  18. People forget that the IE engine was 2D because it was what it could be done in the time, if it could be look better, it would. No one comes from the sky to declare that to be the ultimate RPG design
