postmodernism and its derivates (feelz league of fat feminists & co) are in direct antithesis with the very thing that made human society what it is today "logic"... and of course it gives the perfect opportunity to people who would benefit from the revocation of human rights to push for it, since human rights (like freedom of speech) are often in direct oposition to the feelz of the league

i have a really complicated personality... i could sent a psychiatrist in an asylum as a patient if i try to make him undestand my mind I dont have a problem with apersonal interaciton like this, but i just hate having to interact with other people directly and avoid it as much as i can. While i can have a normal conversation with anyone at any time (im not a case of "4chan greentext autism"), i prefer to avoid being in a situation where i have to have a conversation. The other thing is that in a forum i can reply at my leisure. I can take all the time i want to decide what to say or i can simply not reply at all if i dont feel like it... and i can reply when i decide i want to take the time to do it, I dont have to stop what im doing in order to respond. And this is why i dont like having friends: it spares me the trouble of deciding between leaving something i want to do in order to be with them or giving them the cold shoulder and stay focussed on what im doing.

im undecided to pledge or not. while i enjoyed the first game, i never had the chance to play it in coop where the real fun was and in this coop seems to be the way its meant to be played. however, being the definition of antisocial person i dont have anyone to play it with me so if i pledge or get it later i will play it solo and i dont think i will really enjoy it that way

Nah it's not, the guy my mom should've stayed with instead of hooking up with my dad was a strong buddhist who'd meditate constantly. Have always had tons of respect for his philosophies and the things he did. But when I have a psychologist offering it to me, then yes, I view it as a bit gimmicky. If I want meditation, I can find a class for that. Meditation itself is a legitimately soothing experience one can practice, but my point being that if I look into a psychologist's praxis and they're advertising meditation as a cornerstone of their work....dude you're a psychologist. If some little girl needs your services because her mother and father just had some rocky divorce that was disgusting and harsh, then it's probably not a great time to be praising meditation. Overall, I just find the psychologists in the area very strange because ALL of them have some kind of gimmick. It's like they run their praxis' more like a business than as a serious medical service, yknow? Really pretty strange and surprising to me, but then again one of the first drastic things that are different that I had to learn is that it turns out, USA is the world's leading expert on Psychology, so....Iunno, maybe I'm just being a snot, maybe things are just different here, but where I'm from the psychologists with the gimmicks aren't treated very seriously. Where I live now, the ones who are just like "how about we talk lol" are the minority. let me try and explain why they use it, using a gamepad as an example. when you first take a gamepad in your hands, you struggle to coordinate your fingers to perform the actions you want to. little by little -as you use it- you create muscle memory and your hands perform the actions by reflex without you having to consciously try to move them in a certain manner. this is because your brain has rewired the neurons to make the performing of such actions as fast and efficient as possible. meditation can be used to create an imaginary training, aimed at rewiring your neurons in particular way, to achieve a certain result. meditation is not just a philosophy, its a scientifically sound method of controling your body function through autosuggestion. of course that applies to proper meditation, not the relaxation exersises in yoga classes

the people at Nvidia have been marketing better drivers as superior hardware and overpriced it. if DX12 closes as much as that review showed the performance gap between AMD and Nvidia cards, then Nvidia will not have an excuse to keep the prices as high as they are and may lose customers, so they lash out at the results to maintain their image until they find a way to widen the gap again with their next product

No dude thats not asking for advice ...thats understanding your limitations and is considered a good character trait. Especially in business well the point was that asking a profesional is always better than trying to tangle with something you dont know by yourself

asking for help is important even if you think you can handle something. i have a small business and i tried to tangle with the taxes myself, to save me the 100 euro the accountant was asking to do it for me. but since it was too complicated, i decided to pay him to do it for me and it was the best decision on the year. that's because if i had done the taxes myself, i would have to pay 1190 euro, but he found a loophole through some other tax free income i had and put me in the system as a salaryman instead of a businessman (in a totally legal manner of course) so i didnt pay a cent.

i really dont get religious people. if a hypothetical religion had a rule that every saturday from dawn to dusk, believers have to be naked and all must have sex at least once regardless of age... would that make it ok to disregard the laws about indecent exposure and sexual abuse of children (since the children are not exempt from the sex rule)? or would it be ok to say to someone who does not follow that religion "My religion says all people should have sex today, so assume the position" (which is practically what this lady does to gay couples)?

but the performance test was in DX12, not mantle. nvidia does not benefit much from DX12, because the drivers can already draw out all the potential of the hardware. AMD on the other hand, had drivers that could use a bit more than half of the hardware's power in DX11, but can draw out all the power in DX12 to make a simplistic comparison

D:OS's weakest part was the writting, but it was for 10/10 in pretty much everything else. music, combat, interaction with npcs and the enviroment, freedom to deal with any situation as you saw fit, great variety of enviroments with an impact on the gameplay, the best pathfinding in any game ever... only the camera needed a little work
