  1. Justin Bell all the way. It just make the game more personal to Obsidian, for me, if the music was all made in-house. Although, whom ever Obsidian pick also work.
  2. There is actually a few groups of people who are interested but haven't pledged yet: people who want a DRM free version people who want translations (French, German, Spanish) people who want more information in general (these cause spike after updates) people who always pledge in the last 24 hours There is also quite a few people who haven't heard about the Kickstarter yet. Also, grats on 1.6m and 40k+ backers!
  3. The Baldur's Gate games are not level scaled. In certain areas a few more enemies might be added or replaced when you reach a higher level. Like a lich is added to a group of skeltons or something. That is not level scaling. Scaling encounters by adding more creatures or changing the spawns based on your party level isn't level scaling?
  4. This thread is filled with pyromancers! No level scaling. Well, it's more like "a good level scaling feature is one where the player doesn't realize there is level scaling happening". The BG games were like this, beside BG2 sun god temple area (go there at level 15+ and get lots of demi-liches and no skeletons, yeah!).
  5. The art-style is quite Icewind Dale-ish to me. I guess this mean that "ranger" is a class (playable?) as well. Also, some of the pre-update 3 info gave me Dragonlance-ish feelings, but this "The player witnesses an extraordinary and horrific supernatural event that thrusts them into a unique and difficult circumstance." just increased them. Not that I mind and I don't expect PE to feel like Dragonlance either in the end.
  6. I voted for traditional with a twist, but in my mind that is "something new" as well. It's not easy to define "traditional". Most settings put twists in them, some with more success than others. Also, I wish stand for humans too. I'm really tired of Humanity being the "young upstart race" in all RPGs I played.
  7. Voted no. With a limited budget, I prefer they put the money in content and fleshing out the new IP...and maybe created mod-tools.
