  1. Btw Zoe doxxed that....muscular guy. Mike Cerivishciochsichdcishc or whatever. The one who is also a lawyer. So they appear to be losing their cool all across the board.
  2. There's seriously nothing to "see," to discuss, or to wait on. It's GG. As in "good game." Gawker is toast. Dey got played like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyUluO-1vwY
  3. I think you may be the only one. It's seriously history. I cannot understate the significance that article will have. And to think it could've easily been avoided by....acting like adults instead of writing off childish emotional impulses....that article is one in a million. It's not everyday you get to watch a journalist write his own obituary.
  4. Yknow, I still don't feel it's enough. I'm beginning to feel as though it's impossible to react to that article enough. That article is literally a suicide note from Gawker. Ladies and Gentlemen, you are witnessing a pivotal moment in GamerGate history. Mark my words, either the author of that article is going to be fired within the next 48 hours or you're going to see advertisers abandon ship at alarming rates....or both. I'm....speechless. That article....it just fills me with joy. Joy in the sense that that was such an unbelievably terrible move from Gawker media to the point where it's downright hysterical and hilarious. Joy in the sense of how absolutely absurd it is that we're learning quite a bit about how terrible and half-assed today's journalism industry is as a whole (not just games media), and why....? All because the people employed by games media are ****ing children. Yknow it's like this kind of stuff with everyone in the industry being buddy-buddy with each other and thus corrupting the industry as a whole? Happens all the time. But sadly, they usually get away with it. And here we are, our guys AREN'T getting away with it, and why...? Because apparently it's too much to ****ing ask for games journalists to act older than 5 years old for five seconds. I cannot laugh hard enough at this. I can only watch with a devilishly evil grin on my face as I lounge in my chair and drink in the succulent Schadenfreude these guys are passing out like candy. I've spent much of the past week or two being fascinated by how stupid and corrupt people are, disgusted and crestfallen by it all. But now...? Now I'm more fascinated than ever, but now I can only roll on the floor laughing at how absolutely retarded these people are, and how they ACTUALLY thought they were going to survive GamerGate. Tell me I'm not the only one that cannot stop re-reading that article, laughing at how "beautiful" it is.
  5. I'm not quite satisfied with just ONE video attempting to sum up my reaction to that article. As such, allow me to provide you all with multiple alternatives so that you can decide for yourselves which one you consider the most appropriate: And here's some videos more appropriate for those seeking damning evidence to use against Gawker by forwarding it to their advertisers, and how such people might feel right now: http://youtu.be/vu4xG5GA2-c?t=12m49s Here I even found some to describe how the gawker journalists will feel in about a week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZT0ewjOpN4
  6. Please turn your speaker volume to maximum for best results: EDIT: Btw your archive is broken. This is giving gawker views.
  7. Speaking of being an ass, recent shooting falsely blamed on GamerGate: http://i.imgur.com/O3ewchE.jpg Guessing the twitter account is just a random guy, yeah? Makes me wonder if it's work from that GNAA group that was allegedly feeding the fire.
  8. This is news to me. It's personal. It's not ethnic or national dislike. I just don't like drunk people (their idiotic behaviour especially) and many young Germans drink too much alcohol for my opinion. No I mean it's news to me that Germans are apparently scurred of Russians.
  9. People aren't referring to you as a professional victim because you're a woman, they're referring to you as a professional victim because you broadcast your bomb threats and conveniently make sure to advertise your new video within the same week.
  10. Oh and: Grade-A Hypocrisy you could cut with a ****ing knife: http://i.imgur.com/Vqcx5bx.png
  11. More connections between Polygon and a game they 10/10'ed found: http://imgur.com/d18RHUM Another day, another sponsor ditching these idiots (we're literally at a sponsor a day now): http://theralphretort.com/zoom-out-olympus-leaves-gawker/ Hilarious article title: http://adland.tv/adnews/adobe-stands-against-bullying-are-bullied-twitter-it/455052050 And in other news apparently Gawker is now mass-deleting previous Twitter posts. GG
  12. I don't think anyone can really reasonably say GG has not been tainted, whether they believe the "original intent" was an attack on women or for ethics in journalism. I mean, just look at the mountain of **** that anyone in the pro-GG camp is lumped in with now. By this logic humanity is tainted and we should all just kill ourselves ... wow, so that over-reaction happened. No he's absolutely right. By that logic humanity is tainted and therefore we should give up, AKA kill ourselves. It's a flawless analogy.
  13. https://archive.today/USVdn Remember, these are supposed to be journalists. Journalists of all people should understand the workings and origins of such phrases....
  14. Kotaku showing signs of weakness: https://archive.today/mlPNl
  15. Oh btw, clock still ticking for journalists: https://twitter.com/jayd3fox/status/524306700732346368
  16. The part they're disagreeing with is that while a German would curbstomp a Brazilian in every socio-economic standard (health care, life expectancy, GDP, crime rate, poverty rate, etc), if you were to stereotype the two countries and try to represent the average citizen of both, the German would be grumpy and obsessed with rules while bitching about how people don't live correctly (aka his way) while wanting to be left alone, whereas the Brazilian would be cheery, friendly, and wanna throw a samba party. Yet according to that same list, Germans are happier people. That list does nothing to review the culture of the various countries and name which culture is most geared towards happiness, it focuses solely on the opportunities it's country provides it with. Yes those are nice, but I would still bet money that if we took a German and took a Brazilian and asked them to rate their satisfaction with life on a scale of 1 to 10, the Brazilians would beat out the Germans a lot of the time.....well maybe not this year since we kinda embarassed their national team in front of the world on their home turf, but you get the point.
  17. There was a comparison on the reddit between polygon and some christian website. The jist of it is that Polygon gave Bayonetta like a 7 or 8 while citing only the morality as a weakpoint for the whole review while the Christian website gave it 9's and 10's across the board for things like gameplay, sound, graphics, etc etc etc, and then they had a seperate category called the morality scale, where the game received 0's, 1's and 2's for it's depiction of blood, violence, sexual themes etc. Overall the game got like a 9 from a gameplay perspective while receiving a 1 on it's moral themes from a conservative christian perspective.
  18. These people are commonly referred to in layman's terms as "f***ing ridiculous."
  19. I was expecting an indoctrination program where we all learn why Russia is best country.
  20. Yup, totally understandable. I just wanted to say that cause I think it's easy to get lost in the "high school gossip" aspects of all this. As for me though...? Like I said, I'm personally just fascinated by how many people with high up or "respectable" positions have the maturity of a 4-year-old.
  21. REALLY? Yeah, see, this is the kind of person that represents anti-#GamerGate, I think I'd rather be represented by misogynists. I just wanna clarify real quick... I've done a lot of posting lately that could be interpreted as "mudslinging" in that I focus on how terrible these people are. That's because to me, it's absolutely fascinating to watch. I get that neither school nor university test you on your maturity or moral compass, but still. It's one thing to see a bad apple, it's another to see a bad apple tree. But for those of you interested in productive work, the kinda stuff I'm linking isn't really stuff to focus on. It's not objective to say "this person is bad and represents the movement." There IS a truth to that in that a person can reflect the attitude of a culture, but objective debate will not draw such conclusions, so focusing on these wierdos is meaningless. Instead what objective debate would be focused on is the stories of corruption as priority. Just figured I'd clarify that. I've been making the posts I do because I'm sadly NOT one of the people doing heavy work to enlighten everyone about the corruption of the media, my personal gameplan is simply "don't visit any games journalism website period unless they've proven they're not involved with this" while writing advertisers about things I don't like, and beyond that I'm cynical in the sense I don't expect much to change. I expect these websites to die out - absolutely - but it'll be a slow burn. This'll take months (if not 1-2 years), not days. Still, I feel I'm doing my part and honestly? Maybe it's laziness talking, but I don't feel there's much more to discuss. The ball is in their court: convince us why we should continue being your consumers and continue using your service...or we won't. It's that simple. I'm not gonna waste time convincing myself to be one or convincing myself to REALLY hate them or something. But yeah, for me these stories are fascinating because I just can't believe the sheer scope of this. There's another little thread on that KotakuInAction reddit saying we can expect a round of coordinated articles saying "GamerGate is over," much akin to the "Gamers are dead" tone. It's like how on EARTH are this many "professionals" involved in such an obviously horrendous plan? Makes me lose faith in humanity. But for those of you still thinking there's progress and productive debate to be had, kindly skip over such posts, cause I don't think dwelling on how awful certain people are will accomplish that. At this point my posts are more about "isn't it amazing how awful people are and how do you think it manages to come to this," or in a more "productive" sense, they're "hey everyone here's proof this group of journalists is corrupt too."
