  1. That's what I mean - they give no room for dynamic range. For me the same volume as 50% is like 12% or something.
  2. They just need to fix the super duper loud volume though. It has basically no dynamic range.
  3. I believe it has to do with who is engaging you, not who you're engaging.
  4. It's called being Flanked, which is pretty much exactly what you're talking about and you get -10 Deflection from it. Engagement is one of the reasons why using melee characters in situations like this is pointless because if you make a single pixel move, you get hit by a 90 damage attack with no animation, even if the bear is currently recovering from a swing it just made. Without Engagement you can actually use cool tactics like rotating aggro off the bear. I need to make a video demonstrating that tbh but I gotta wait for Bester to convert the IE mod to v480.
  5. That video basically demonstrates one of my main problems with the system. The game promotes this style of play as that's the best way to do it - one tank that is built basically purely defensively and then five ranged characters with no armor that just stack CC and AoE damage. If you tried with more tanks, the fight would likely get progressively worse for you, if you tried with more characters in melee, the fight would go progressively worse for you.
  6. I'm with Gromnir TBH. Release is only the beginning of the Road to Eternity. The game has a long way to go, yet.
  7. I think the game is accidentally using some test sword from Final Fantasy or something lmao

  9. Expected Result: Text should have the same brightness - those interactables are both on darker places in the area too.

  11. Like what? The DotA 2 bug list has thousands of bugs still in the game, and that is a constantly updated game that has been in development for many years.
  12. Well he has a point, and the advantage of playing the full game. This issue is too far gone to worry about for now - we all need to play the full game and come back with a clear picture.
  13. Performance and the new pathfinding problems are probably my two largest concerns. Need to do a full pathing test, maybe tomorrow. The game has received some optimization but I have no FPS increase whatsoever.
  14. Currently the only way to delete a character is to individually delete all their saves through the game menu. The save game files are not sorted by character name (they probably should be kept in diff folders maybe) like charname\<save guid>
  15. You were calling it area loot when it isn't. Although, you may just be here trolling again.
  16. Yeah perma-remove is what I mean. Why does it matter if you perma-remove a BB character? I already have 7 different characters that I've needed for testing
  17. I think you just have to remove some BB companions to fix it ?
  18. They made traps do ridiculous damage in v392. Every time I set off a trap I just load my last save, so it doesn't impact me too much lol.
  19. That's not really a pro of engagement though, the same situation would exist without it. The only differences being a) you wouldn't get a free disengagement attack on the spiders at the start due to the dumb AI (which is now, mostly fixed ... but something about engagement was changed to make them easier to get) and b) you wouldn't suffer disengagement attacks from the spiders when moving back. Taking away disengagement attacks from that scenario does absolutely nothing to change the tactics or decisions. Blocking the doorway is still as good of a tactic as it was before, as it protects your squishes and you will still have to retreat from the Freezing Pillar AoE.
  20. They've fixed a lot of older bugs, I've checked between 1/3 to 1/2 of my bug reports from the last patch but I've got a lot more go through. They've fixed probably about 60% of the ones I checked that I reported in v435, but not many of the ones older than that.
