  1. Rest in peace, Bart. My condolences.
  2. I see, so it's a case similar to that of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Once it was out a lot of PC gamers found it interesting and were bent on emulating/porting that title. I think there are even mods for it.
  3. Wow, it is possible to emulate PS3 games on the PC? Didn't knew about that. It would be nice to boost the graphics in Demon's Souls using a strong pc. It was Demon's Souls that needed a remaster, not Dark Souls.
  4. True. It looked way better on my old pc with the high-res textures...and that 'brothel mod'.
  5. I had to get help from strangers during a few boss fights in Bloodborne because my heart couldn't handle the pressure. Back when Demon's Souls got released in the U.S(it took a year or so until it was eventually released in Europe) I managed to find a US copy of the game in a second hand gameshop in Vienna. I have no idea how it had ended up there or why I decided to buy it at all. I went in fresh and at first I thought to myself 'is this a joke?!'. I was very impressed by the graphics and the art style though so I decided to play some more. Eventually I managed to beat the first and the second boss. Once I reached world 2, I decided to summon someone and to my surprise, some dude showed up who happened to be armed to the teeth and all leveled up. I just followed the guy as he mowed down everything in his path all the way to the end boss. At one point I lost him in the caverns and had to wait for him until he showed up...scariest 10 minutes of my life! Eventually I fell in love with the game because the difficulty would always remind me of the good ol' days of the SNES. I had only a few bosses to beat until my PS3 hdd decided to mess with me so I had to do a system restore which deleted my bad ass character for good. And nope, there was no ps plus cloud save system back then. PS Plus offered Demon's Souls free to subscribers a few years back so I can hop back in and start a new character. This time I hope I can beat the game but there won't be no coop since the servers went offline a while back. Speaking of which, I had my older brother by me a gift card(I can only use prepaid cards bought in Austria since my account was made there while I was a student in Vienna and you can't change the region of your psn account ...thank you Sony! ) so now I have PS Plus till 1Q 2020. Hooray! *dances* All I have to do now is buy a new PS3 because I want to have a spare one in case my current PS3 goes kaput. For some reason, the ps3 is more near and dear to my heart compared to other consoles, can't live without one...unless Sony is working on a PS3 mini.
  6. I noticed that I had Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth in my Steam library and decided to give it a go. No disappointed! No compatibility issues with windows 10, game runs fine, videos work and there is even widescreen support without the need of any mods or fixes. Basically, it works straight out of the box, something which is quite rare with older games on Steam. I am liking it btw, graphics are old but the attention to detail is still amazing and the atmosphere is spot on. Yeah, the co-op in Dark Souls(or Bloodborne) ain't exactly intuitive.
  7. This is how Fallout 3 looks like in 4K when played on the Xbone X:
  8. I have the regular version of Dark Souls for the PS3 and bought the DLC separately on a sale. Damn, we could have done some co-op if I weren't such a lazy **** to begin with.
  9. I thought Germany 2006 was great. We had: -Brazil's wonder team getting owned and knocked out by Zidane -C.Ronaldo annoying the **** out of Rooney to the point where he got angry and was sent off, just like Beckham in 1998. It also ended in a dramatic penalty shootout -a dramatic match between Argentina and Germany that ended in a penalty shootout...and a fight. -Germany being 100 percent sure they would win the WC and eventually being knocked out by Italy in the semi-finals with two goals which were scored by Grosso and Del Piero just before the game was about to end in a penalty shootout -J.Klinsman throwing an unhealthy amount of bottled water here and there during every single match, to the point where you'd think he has been busy taking a shower -Zidane and Materazzi going at each other -Zidane being sent off at the final match of his career
  10. Russia vs Sweden in the semi-finals?! I might start playing Warframe as well...
  11. It's rather 'ugly' because both teams are angry. Won't be surprised if it ends in a fight...
  12. Is that Octopath Traveler game out yet? That game makes me want to buy a Nintendo Switch.
  13. Yeah, this world cup would have been perfect if Russia had lost to Spain. Everytime I watch Russia play it's as if someone is forcing me to eat raw pasta.
  14. Belgium broke my ****ing heart tonight. What a game though, they turned a 0-2 into a 3-2 for themselves so you can all stop whining now. :/ Hahaha, I remember that. Boy was that game a treat.
  15. Japan stings! 1-0 for Japan.
  16. I suck at Backlog: The Eternal Struggle. I play it for a bit but can't seem to beat the first boss. Lol. Checking for double copies of games I own. I only have 329 games left. I do have about 50 PS+ games that I want to try, though. The positive thing is that I have already included my pre-ordered and backed games via Kickstarter in my 329 number. I doubt I'll buy more games this year. At most, I will get Yakuza 6. I wanted it at release, but I forced myself not to buy it. I plan on sticking to PS+ and Xbox Game Pass for now, no more new games because I have a ton and the new ones here are crazy expensive right now. The last games I bought were Yakuza 6 and Wolfenstein II but I doubt I'll be buying anything new until Yakuza Kiwami 2 is out...that's not all that far away actually.
  17. Yup. The music is crap, no arguing there.
  18. There are hints to Death Stranding in the P.T demo that was released a few years back. That's what the video is about. It's not exactly news but it is still interesting. Why or how are bits and pieces of Death Stranding in a demo that was released years ago?!
  19. Oblivion and Fallout 3 are available on Xbox Game Pass and they have recieved a 4K boost in resolution so I am trying out those. Oblivion looks awesome in 4K, and is still fun to play. Fallout 3 I haven't tried yet, I need a cup of tea before I can do that gut-wrenching 'birhtday party' quest at the beginning of the game. :/
  20. Dying Light 2 Death Stranding Cyberpunk 2077 Rage 2 The Elder Scrolls VI Scorn Resident Evil 2 Remake Yakuza Kiwami 2 ...
  21. ^ Lexx' opinion on 95 percent of the things he sees in life.
  22. Spain is out, I guess Brazil and England are next...
  23. The main character is busy taking a dump and the whole game is actually taking place in his mind?
  24. This...is freaking weird.
  25. Braid It can be really hilarious at times, never expected a puzzle game to be this reactive.
