RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - BATTLE ROYALE
Katphood replied to Blarghagh's topic in Computer and Console
Steam had many neat ideas but it pretty much failed at regulating any of them. As someone who owns 500+ games on Steam, I feel like an idiot. -
https://youtu.be/FRl0re93-tw Ouch, that was quite a heavy loss, especially with the goal that Shaqiri scored at the end.

To destroy militarily or to destroy and "occupy"? If the former, I don't think they would last any longer than Iraq did. If the latter, I agree. "Occupying" a country is just a meatgrinder and a waste of lives. You can also destroy a country without any sort of military intervention: Syria is a good example.

Please don't fix that typo. Death of the Outside is what I have been playing this whole summer.

Hahahaha, it's okay. I blame it on pot. Also, I would hide if I were you, Majestic. HoonDing is going to have your balls.

If Russia, Syria, China and Israel can come to an agreement, the U.S could invade Iran. But I don't see that happening. Though the U.S government have said time and time again that 'We don't need a war in order to change the regime in Iran'.

No, everybody is scared because of the incoming sanctions so they are investing all of their money in gold coins. This cripples the economy and makes the dollar price rise at an exponential rate. If things go like this once the actual sanctions hit, the government will collapse. This could very well, be the start of some major changes in Iran. If this doesn't happen, Trump will likely make his own deal with Iran: 'Obama made a bad deal, I dropped that deal and forced the Iranians into signing a new and better deal. Vote for me!'. Edit: There is also a third option which is the worst: War between the two nations.

If I stumble upon a lost treasure someday, I will sell it and build a PC with the money just to be able to play Fallout: Miami. I would also replay Fallout: New Vegas with 4K textures. *dreams*

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - BATTLE ROYALE
Katphood replied to Blarghagh's topic in Computer and Console
@Melusina World War 2 was bad but it brought us a whole lot of new inventions. Truth is that humans work a whole lot harder when they are under the pressure of a global war. Still, WW2 will be remembered as a bad event even if it did push technology a bit further. Fun fact: Did you knew that the guy who placed Neil Armstrong and his crew on the moon, was the same guy who created the V2 rockets? Look for 'Werner von Braun' on wikipedia. -
True. I'll buy it with webmoney because there are a whole bunch of other games I want to buy that aren't on Steam: -Neverwinter Nights 2 -The Suffering games -Lands of Lore 1, 2, 3 -Dumgeon Keeper 1, 2 -Nox -Albion ...

Replace 'Greenlight' with 'World War 2' and then you'll understand why we still hate Greenlight. -
Elex(PS4). I wanted to pre-order Pathfinder but buying digital copies is a real pain since I don't have a credit card and even if I want to charge my Steam account with pre-paid cards I have to use a U.S vpn connection which I don't have the time or patience for right now. Elex will do for now. It was cheap, old but gold! *da boom dish*

Just updating right now that in the past few weeks, Iran has become the weakest it has been in the past 40 years and it is absolutely disasterous to live here. It's basically becoming impossible to live in this country anymore, prices go up by the minute... Congrats, Trump! You did what no other U.S president could have ever done in their wildest dreams, now do that sword dance one more time with the prince of saudi arabia and this time, why don't you invite bibi, too since you are already planning on an Arabian NATO! *chuckles* ....'Arabian NATO' Guess the people who voted for Trump really knew what they were doing.

It's pretty hot here. 40 C or something like that. I just do the best thing and stay in. Last night I decided to turn the AC off and go to bed, but when I woke up my whole pillow was covered in sweat. Uaaagghhh...it's 5 AM here, gotta get something inside that stomach of mine, it is rumbling!

'Fatemeh makes a run for the local game store, but as she reaches for her pocket, she realises that God of War costs half of her salary!' You always crack me up, bibi...

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - BATTLE ROYALE
Katphood replied to Blarghagh's topic in Computer and Console
I like my trophies, some of them go back to some 10 years ago when I first bought the PlayStation 3. Good times... That can only be a good thing, excluding drm, Steam seems to always be ahead of the curve. Ahead of the curve? Yeah, when it comes to releasing shovelware* maybe... They sure are big, but I could easily see GOG taking over PC gaming in a few years. *'Crapware' is more like it actually, I've had a lot of fun with actual shovelwares back in the days but when a game is equal to a 2 hour Unity Project, it's not a game anymore, it's just a scam. -

PSN will soon become the new Steam: https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-07-29-games-with-easy-trophies-help-indie-studios-get-the-funding-needed-for-future-projects -
I started playing Fable. It seems this game is centered around being a hero/villain. So bandits attack, my village is destroyed, a guild appears out of nowhere. They save me, they raise me, they teach me the arts of blade, archery and magic. I eventually set out of the guild to walk on the path of becoming a hero! So what is the quest I have been given? 'Oh, hi! There are these people who are camping near the woods and they are being harassed by a bunch of wasps, go save them.' ... Wow, that was so heroic! I felt like I was MohammedMosesChrist all while being shat straight out of Buddha's arse! I'll get back to playing Warframe...

Lol, you're the kind of people who enjoy pizza with 6 different kinds of meat on top of it? Yes, I am exactly 'that kind of people' but I myself enjoy cheese pizza the most. When it comes to topings though, I prefer 10 kinds of meat to a raw eggplant that is laying there in the middle of my pizza like a dead rat.

What country do you live in? Iran/Tehran. I like the district I live in(3rd-قیطریه) and have gotten used to it over the years. I like the nature here in Tehran but the problem is that Tehran is a city that was meant for a population of 4 million, not 9. As a result, it has turned into a very busy and dirty city...I still like it though. It is also pretty expensive to live here and the recent events in politics have made things worse. 2.Which country would you prefer to live in? Well, my father was a diplomat so I got to live in: -London(1989-1992) -Vienna(1996-2000) -Frankfurt am Main(2003-2007) I also went back to Vienna as a student and lived there from 2008 to 2011. I was born in Cuba/Havana in 1984. My parents stayed there from 1982 to 1986 so that is another 2 years there which I can't remember much of. Countries I have visited: -Italy(Venice, Florence, Bologna, Rome). It was awesome! That was back in 1997...good times. They just have very bad pizzas for some reason. -Hungary: I flew a ****ing Kyte! -Czech Republic: Prague is beautiful. -France: Paris is exactly as pretty as they say it is. -Belgium: I can't remember much as I was too busy looking at their wimmenz. It was nice though. -Holland: Amsterdam was beautiful, so was...hmmm denhaag? denhag? can't google right now as I am posting this from my phone. I was only 14 back then so no, I didn't get to try the whacky tabbacy loli-pops... *sniff* -Luxembourg: it's sooooo awesone. Clean. Quite. Beautiful! -Switzerland: I was only 5 back then but I can clearly remember how beautiful Genev was back then, I think it was in 1989. Yeah, that's about it. I also have fond memories of my visits to Hamburg, Munich, Wiesbaden, Köln, Heidelberg, Salzburg, Graz and Strasbourg. Which would I choose to live in out of all of those countries? Luxembourg! That place was sooooo dreamy and quite. <3

Watching 'The Taming of the Shrew' and loving it.

Nothing special today. Tehran has been boiling for the past few weeks(40-42 C), so going out can be pretty annoying and bothersome. Went out and bought some kitty treats and by the time I was back I was already poured in sweat. Played some Warframe, went to sleep and woke up around 22:00. Now I am going to spend the whole night playing vidgy games and watching classic 70's movies. Yeah, basically mix of unemployment and mental health issues.

@Majestic: your dream is interesting, but isn't that basically what McDonalds will do to the world in the 22nd century?! @Guard Dog: Sorry to hear that. My condolences.

It is very uncommom for a household to own a gun unless daddy is working as a police officer. Even in those instances, the police officer is limited to a handgun. In the south-west it is different though, it isn't uncommon for arab families to own all sorts of guns and the police never has the balls to even question them, it's also partially due to the fact that they are much better at upholding the law compared to the police(same way the mafia would uphold the law in Vegas back in the days, no court, no trial, just a few broken bones or at worst, a bullet to the head). There are also regions in the north where people can own a hunting rifle depending on the region they live in, some of them are allowed to hunt one or two animals per year. But in general, I'd say it is not as popular as it is in most countries in the world. Iranians have more interest in owning the latest car/phone instead of let's say, having 'a gun collection'.

I don't always remember my dreams, but when I do: Dream #1 23rd Juli 2018(14:00-19:00) I was at a firing range. It was indoors and someone was introducing me to handguns and explaining me how they work. He handed me over this gun that was very similar to a Bretta 92F and it had this very cool black and red paint job. I fired a few rounds at the range and then suddenly, I noticed that I could control time and fire bullets in slow motion. At that point I started questioning everything which is why I woke up eventually. Notes: -I started building my first weapons in Warframe(Karak) from a blueprint I had aquired earlier shortly before going to sleep and that process usually takes 24 hours to complete. I was thinking whether it took in-game hours or real life hours for the building process to complete when I suddenly switched off on the couch and went to sleep so it might have something to do with that. Post yours. In case you haven't had any recent dreams you are always welcome to post the ones you can still remember.
