  1. Forza Horizon. I like the setting, can't wait to cruise around in the canyon. The story isn't anything to write home about but there are funny jokes pretty much in every mission. Shadow Warrior isn't about that though, it's mostly about shooting a whole group of enemies, similar to Serious Sam. If you enjoyed that game you could give SW2 a try. But yes, there is a whole lot to do once the game is over: -Collecting gems -Collecting orbs so you can purify gems, infuse guns or make your own gems by combining them -Coop with 3 other players -New Game+ -There are 70 Weapons in SW2 instead of 'Bazillion' weapons like in Borderlands(most of which is vendor trash in BL) -Not all levels are procederally generated -Mission goals are not procederally generated at all -There is much more variety in both weapons and enemies compared to Borderlands 1 & 2: Bows, pistols, smgs, gattling guns, heavy machine guns, assault rifles, grenade launchers, rocket launchers, swords, chainsaws... -Enemies in such games ARE bullet-sponges, this is a DOOM/Serious Sam clone, not Arma 3
  2. Shadow Warrior 2 is an amazing game and I am very sad that people don't know much about it. Just got the ability to dual-wield assault rifles. I wub this game, it's like a marriage between everything that is cool about both new and old-school shooters.
  3. Cyanide Studio's Call of Cthulhu gets a release date: https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-07-19-doom-haunted-call-of-cthulhu-game-finally-lands-a-release-date
  4. I wish I could make myself an Isometroc turn-based RPG with guns n stuff but yeah, I lack the skills as well. I once started doing conecpt arts so I could try to imagine how different towns would look like but my drawing skills aren't the best. Don't have any coding experience either so I just dropped the whole thing. The only thing I still have a wee bit hope for is making my own graphic adventure game.
  5. Hehe, the thing is that back in the days I got the demo from a PC magazine and for the first time I enjoyed a sim. Then I saw this friend of mine and told him about this awesome game I had played earlier. I told him it was 'Raptor' and he got excited and asked me if he could come over to my place to play some 'Raptor'. When he saw the game he realized it wasn't the Raptor he had played and was disappointed. It was there when he talked about this other Raptor game where it was all about non-stop shooting and action. Majestic's purchase reminded me of that story and for the first time I got to see the game that guy was talking about.
  6. They could do what Hello Games did with No Man's Sky: release the game first and then start developing.
  7. Finished all the trials in Shadow Warrior 2 and got a gold trophy for it. Yay! Wasn't all that hard though, I am playing the game on the Normal difficulty.
  8. Yeah, something tells me that after the Qatar WC, football will die as we know it. Why change things when they don't need changing?
  9. I never played Raptor: Call of Shadows but I did play this. My 'Childhood Raptor' was boring. :/
  10. The matches starting for Euro 2020 already in september? Consider me a happy man. Also, why the hell is the Euro Cup so confusing this time around?! League phase? Qualifying? Knockout stage? Teh confusion! Nah, they should bring back Reymond Dominic.
  11. https://youtu.be/E42D2XF2oAs If the man himself says it's good then it must be good I guess. But let's get to the exciting news: Nier: Automata Novelization Coming to the West. (rpgfan.com)
  12. 'Let's compare the art-style of three differnt games (each with three different settings) to one another and decide which engine works best with which dev team.' said Lexx, exactly 30 minutes after having taken 5 hits of acid. P.S: It's so fun to annoy Lexx :>
  13. That happened to me with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. All that patience and waiting for absolutely nothing. I think I used a gas grenade at some point and some dude/dudete fell asleep and fell off a ledge or something. Someday I'll replay that game and this time I will go full John Rambo on the game.
  14. I am back at watching football after this WC and I am going to cheer for Juventus, the Azzuris and our beloved Iranian national football team once again, haven't been watching football since 2010 and I sort of rediscovered how fun it is to watch a game of football. Juventus has Ronaldo now and it will be interesting to see how they will perform at Serie A and Champions League. The Azzuris have to redeem themselves for Euro 2020. The Iranian national football team has to ready itself for the AFC Cup qualifying and I hope we get to become the champions of Asia this time around but Japan, South Korea and Austraila are strong opponents. How is it looking with you fellas? Edit: I discovered that I still have my France 98 vhs tapes. On them I have all of the Italy and Iran matches. Gotta find myself a good vhs player/converter and watch them again someday. That Italy vs Chile match was epic! Good times...
  15. Unlocked the ability to fuse gems in Shadow Warrior 2. Man, this game keeps getting better and better. It's basically the Borderlands 3 we never got. It also helps that Lo Wang can be super funny at times, I was shooting baddies the other day and he suddenly screams 'Killing in the name of...!' with his not so serious chinese accent.
  16. If it works for Desperados it should work for Commandos as well.
  17. I just don't understand, neither France nor Croatia wanted to touch that ball. XD
  18. Griezmann played great. Congrats, France! Well done, Croatia! Great WC all around.
  19. Haha, Lloris...you dumb ****.
  20. Here's to France: ...and here's to Croatia: https://youtu.be/WT_T4KweVBc
  21. I have all Men of War games on Steam but never tried any of them. Guess I'll give them a go. There was this fella over at the No Mutants Allowed boards(Wooz - he worked as a concept artist for Hard Reset and Shadow Warrior) and he recommended that game a lot.
  22. We over here were all hoping for Faghani to blow the whistle for the finals since he is an Iranian.
  23. I miss the times when MMOs would just stream content as you played. It's funny how technology always seems to inevitably move backwards in some aspects... Well, technology needs both money and motivation. When you don't have enough of those you eventually have to tell your grand children how once upon a time you could fly from London to New York in just 3 hours with something called a 'Concord'. We thought we would be like the Jetsons by the year 2000 but here we are in 2018 and we aren't even close to the Jeffersons yet...
