  1. Heh, i know. I beat WM1, right when it first come out. My wizard had Ninagauth's Freezing Pillar, before even entering DLC. Back then Ninagauth's Freezing Pillar has a lot more damage but also friendly fire. So my party (wiz main, Aloth, and custom druid as dps, plus tanks and heal) just cleaned whole dlc with mass AoE, but now i dunno what would it be, heh. Honestly i come to this location - only for spells from the Wizard grimoire. Because he had a couple of good low lvl (something like 3lvl, and lvl 4?) spells which is useless for high level party but would be very nice for my current party. Oh well, im already looted a couple of high level grimoire's from wizards in merc camp, so it definitely was worth trying.
  2. So, PoTD, i come to merc camp, and every single one of them has 100+ defenses, in everything, 9999 hp, plus a lot of BS abilities. Those mercs would probably easily kick ass of any "god". So for now im aggring them 1 by 1, and fights 6vs1, lol. Any suggestion how player supposed to beat this camp? Partially of how to lower their differences enough to actually do some damage. Atm my main Wiz, blinds them, then Alot chil fog them, and expose vulnerability, but this is still not enough. Maybe you supposed have some special weapon?
  3. This is stupid feature which should be burned in hell, alongside with everyone who like to mix grim RPG settings with sims simulators. Even if this feature present in the game, it should be VERY optional. None killing narrative about of space-robot-squid-gonna-kill-us-all 1-3 more, that occasional "sexual tension" in the middle of neck-deep mass grave, or forest of impaled people turning into robots. "Romance" in RPG is literally stuff for 15+ years old girls, no offence. Well, to not insult people more, i would say, that maybe, maybe, one day there will be a good RPG with "non-ugly-implemented-sex-themes" which really will organically complement story, but this day, Arthas my son lololoolo, is not today. To think about it for a second - the only rpg with tolerable "Romance" feature even existed - is KOTOR2, but only because it is essential part of the story, it is never forced on player, and how creepy and unnatural it is displayed, when almost all females is so much into the General, and how instantly quad-creepy it is become the moment when it has reveled WHY all three girls, and to some degree even Kreia, is so into the Exile.
  4. No. This is just silly, for first - crafting helps players customize they gear, make it more fit to their characters/builds. And for 2nd, craft may play big role in overall story, and be a money source. Srsly you need to be an neanderthals from stone age, to strongly hate crafting. It's like rioting aginst central heating in 2017, and demand to go back live into caves. You know, in old times games haven't crafting only cause it was too hard to implement it properly? And also some of old games have craft regardless. Also your point even more atlandish, since no one forced you to craft. I have beated PoE on PoTD without crafted even single scroll. If you don't like craft - just don't use it.
  5. Nah. Pallas in PoE is already the best tanks (the only thing that redeemed fighters as tanks - is they +2 engage stance), practical dps (yeah you rogue maybe can score +9999 damage, but only if a random will let him to be unpunished by enemy's attacks, aoe/fear/stun etc.) and nice buffs. And with multiclassing in PoE 2, pallas probably would be able to pick up some of fighters tanking talent, or pick clerics class for even more buffs and support, thus making fighters and clerics slightly obsolete.
  6. More tanks abilities for better control of battlefield, so it would be less of a chance/random proc of AI to rush towards casters ignoring everything. Like make tanks to actually somehow DENY moving pass them - like any enemy which ran near tank in special "deny stance" is automatically stunned and pushed back away.
  7. Just had hit lvl 8 on my main wizard and also on Aloth...and...oh my oh my after all patches wizards has literally become GODS of PoE. Not only with all WIz tals for wands they do decent damage on they own, but under buffs both of them is literally obliterated all what stands behind "tank wall" with just auto attacks. And all this is to addition to tons of CC and aoe Wiz spells. And then...it seems like Sneak Attack works on wands too...for chars with best CC in the game.... i guess now, what will happen with disabled Adra dragon when both my Wiz will hit her with "beast slaying" ench/talents (+50% dmg, right?) and all buffs, - probably universe will explode lol. Also my main Wizard have 80+ acc on his own, under buffs he has 100, and it is while rarely enemy have 90+ deference atm. It`s makes possible to cast, for example, Fortitude attack spell on high Fortitude defended enemy and just overcome it defenses, right on, instead of picking spell against which the enemy has weaker defense. With wizard like that, who needs Rangers or rogues, right?
  8. It just seems like entire combat system of the game is hanging on ONE combo "bottleneck+slicken spell+dps spell on top". And for most of the time it is work just fine. But also there a lot of fights against hordes on plane field, so it is ended up by sticking whole party into some corner (LOL) and then Eder go to lure horde to that corner. Which is, im pretty sure, is not how fights intended to go by developers. So im trying to find what im doing wrong.
  9. Just started 1st Act, playing for second time. Aaaaaannnd damn those encounters has not become, less weird even after all paths and tweaks. How you supposed to beat those hordes of 7-11 different enemies with stuns, blind, fear etc. without your favored ally - Captain Bottleneck, on PoTD? How YOU beated PoTD without the Cap. help? What your party was?
  10. In Pillars combats and, arguably, overall lore is waaayy better than in Tyranny. But Tyranny is makes it even with more focused narrative and by fact that choices matter more that in Pillars. in Tyranny PC class, and actions is making heavier impact on the story and the world.... and that why last half of Act 2 and the ending may become the biggest "why? f you that why?" from Obsidiant, second only to ending of F:NV for YesMan.
  11. Well it's just another dumb SW episode in which a lot of main plot elements is making no sense. It funny how hard the film is trying to leak fanboys asses. Like literally, all wimping from side of fanboys about prequels is has covered in this film. What is not funny is blant and obvious copy-pasting of Revan helmet and design, but without all others improvement from the OldRepublic to the story as well. So once again it's a dumb story about - "GUYS WHO LOOKS SCARY" VS "NICE LOOKING GUYS". 2 of 3, Watchable but even OldRepublic MMO add-on had a way better story.

  14. > 15 Dex > 10 Per Whyyyyyyyyy? Dex is useless, for caster which cast from behind, and wear no armor, but cloth. Perception in other hand is the most useful stat for caster after Might, and INT, since it directly affect difficulty of "save rolls" from your caster spells.
  15. At one hand it is suck hard, Bethesda is went full hurr durr. At other hand, well it really depends on how it will be implemented in the game.

  17. Lol, looks like Todd was played a lot of New Vegas, and he went mad, can you handle him now? I mean the ingame f4 - craft, it is like New Vegas craft but with big improvements. F3 don't have crafting system, like the new vegas has - gather knifes, spoons, etc - recycling them into "spare parts" - craft spare parts into lead, craft bullet cases from lead, from bullet cases and powder - craft ultra bullets. And this only one example of NV craft. So in F4 it seems as they just skips few steps in the process - and make crafting BIG. Also armor now have 4 parts (tes have this, f3 don't), what is nice. 2-3 years of that "innovations" and they probably will remeber how to make quests which is not sucks hard like in f3-tes4,5, lol. But overall, only good park in presentation is crafting. Dialogs seems being broken to the level on ME.
  18. Well, thats is sucks. Obsidian seems as doing well, so WHY? Who is goin to make cRPG now? I mean ofc, ANY studio in theory can create an awesome RPG. But Chris was part of some awesome old cRPG, so he gives bonus +20% RPG-ist to the project, and now he is left. Damn, thats sucks.
  19. Well graphics is not so much important. Also Bethesda showed in game cinematic, and not pre-rendered bullshot, so at very least they trying be honest with us that time. Also also usually Bethesda failed hardest in terms of story, narrative, gameplay, dialogs...so yeah...graphics in that case in not for what you should worry.
  20. Well trailer is pretty much fit perfect to an expectation - so much fail. Also after failures of oblivion, skyrim, f3 - Bethesda releasing another open world game, ..yeah...yay...,can't care less honestly, at best it will be another damn simulator of metro/underground caverns explorer. And again it will practically unplayable at launch...
  21. Topic name says it all. That perk is not showing up, on at least tavern mercenaries. All mercenaries have all needed skils for that perk.

  23. Dammit, journalists who interviewed developers seem haves some serious sexual issues, tired of them licking devs asses, "Oh god" "Amazing", "Nexgen". F*&****g freak show.
