So here's something on Kickstarter: Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan Notable for both having a developer based in sub-Saharan Africa as well as a setting somewhat based on African mythology, it seems to be a mix between a brawler and an RPG. I saw a bit of an interview with the devs a while ago. Apparently they've had to overcome things that most Western devs take for granted, like having a reliable electricity service. Glad they went with a 2d hand-animated aesthetic rather than a 2.5d one like Mighty no. 9 did. It looks much nicer.- Reactionaries tries to ban progressive technology

So there are a few rumors around that George Miller has been also offered the director's seat for Dark Universe, a DC film that was previously going to be directed by Guillermo Del Toro. Guillermo Del Toro dropped out of the project despite his enthusiasm for it because he decided to do Pacific Rim 2 in the time Warner wanted to do Dark Universe instead. Dark Universe is going to be an adaptation of DC's Justice League Dark property, featuring John Constantine (Hellblazer), Zatanna, Swamp Thing and Deadman who act as a team to take on the DCU's supernatural threats.- Movies you've seen recently

Yeah. People have been trying to paint him as "that terrorist GG supporter" all day because he tweeted in the tag a few times months ago, but he also wrote anti-GG articles for the Daily Kos and Feministing, pretended to be a member of ISIS, a Jewish Lawyer, a feminist writer, a white supremicist on Stormfront... Basically I think it confirms the theory that the truly nasty people in this thing are neither GG or aGG, just third-party trolls who like to see people get upset. Just someone who likes to see conflict. Elfwick is a harmless guy who just likes to give people a bit of ribbing. Goldberg was far more malicious in his actions.- The Funny Things Thread

Spasiba. These people are really taking the whole Men are from Mars thing seriously, aren't they? They can't possibly just be some **** toughs looking to pick on someone or mug them? No these strange manbeings are like a group of aliens whose ways seem savage and barbaric and still rely on a barter system and whizzing on things to mark their territory.- Journalism and Bias in the Gaming Industry
You should really use an archive for those sorts of nonsense articles, Fighter. It's pretty easy. Just go to somewhere like https://archive.is/ and enter the url you want archived. Then you can show all your friends the sort of pseudo-intellectual nonsense people write without giving them clicks.- Journalism and Bias in the Gaming Industry

Speaking of which since they had their ads pulled they need Patreonbux to survive if anyone here likes them enough to do that. I believe they got their ads pulled because they accidentally enabled ads on a news piece about a lewd games, which is against the TOS, didn't they? Gamesnosh is another site that's quite alright. Whoever is in charge of their twitter account needs to step up their game though. They only make a tweet once every other day and hardly ever tweet their articles. Speaking of games sites can anyone here recommend me a PC-oriented gaming site that enjoys giving coverage to niche and overlooked titles? I've been avoiding RPS, PCGamer and PCGamesN for a while now.- The Kickstarter Thread
Thought this might appeal to some here: Battle Chasers: Nightwar From the page: "Classic JRPG combat meets action packed dungeons and stylish storytelling. Use skills and strategy to survive a lush, brutal landscape." Indeed. Unfortunately Breitbart is full of arseholes, the only person writing there worth a rat's ass is probably Allum Bokhari. Despite that I'm still actually hoping that Breitbart will try to expand into Breitbart Gaming, much like Forbes has Forbes Gaming. Not because I necessarily like them, or will even read them, but because at the moment the most influential spheres of games journalism is an insular clique that needs to be shaken up by other big players with different views from their own.- Journalism and Bias in the Gaming Industry
Breitbart recently ran a hit-piece on a lady who'd made some insensitive tweets about a recently deceased cop. The lady had used the #blacklivesmatter once and had about 20 followers. After the hit-piece she got all sorts of nasty death-threats and such. KIA had a thread comparing Breitbart's piece to Gawker, in my opinion rightfully so. This story is very similar to one about Gawker, where everyone's favorite bully, Sam Biddle, wrote a piece about a lady called Justine Sacco who made an ill-advised tweet about Africa and AIDs. She subsequently got all sorts of nastiness thrown at her and lost her job. Milo got huffy on twitter and complained that KIA cared more about "losing honorably by the enemy's rules" and so on. He also RT'd a tweet about "GG shouldn't bite the hand that feeds them." He also made a fairly lengthy post on KIA about the matter. Cue ****flinging. Cathy Young came out with a response that I feel is close to my own feelings on the matter. Edit: Linked the wrong piece. - The Funny Things Thread
