That's certainly true, and with the US' support, even if all Arab and Muslim countries sided together against Israel, they would still have little chance of 'winning', if winning means conquering the territory of Israel. The US wouldn't get directly involved, certainly not with ground forces, because Israel can definitely hold it's own. (more) Financial backing is a real possibility tho.
