  1. That's a lot of stuff in regular use. I think my head would explode. Well, I'm unusual in that I put almost everything I think about on the screen. The first 12 buttons on the bottom left are hotkeyed to my number keys, but beyond that I don't really have anything bound (which is fairly unusual). That said, the rows on the left are the ones I mainly use for raiding, the ones on the right are used for misc stuff (for a weapon swap, mounts, a few macros, first aid, professions, things like that) That's awesome. Using 2 swords and 1 spell in The Witcher is about my limit for realtime fantasy multitasking. ANything more and I'd just be drooling on myself.

  3. Thought I remember you mentioing Eve sometimes before. Surprised I found a game you haven't played.
  4. I'm in Chapter 3 of the Witcher. The fight with 20 odd assassins in the Salamdra base in the sewers almost did me in. I was just runnign around spamming the igni sign at groups that got close. Not terribly heroic, I'm afraid. lol.

Poker minigame would certianly make sense. Remember that cool card-based minigame in Might and Magic 7 (I think. Maybe M&M 8 ). I had more fun with that mingame, then I did with the actual crpg. lol
  6. Are you active in EVE currently, Purk?
  7. How do you play the game with so much stuff on the screen? I can barely even see the game world. Is there a stripped-down combat HUD or something?
  8. One of these days I'll probably pick of NWN2 plus x-packs. Just don't have much love for D&D-based computer games.
  9. Yes, but MotB had an awesome story and a bit of exploration between the combat parts. If it's supposed to be the IWD of NWN series, it fails solely on the account that the camera and combat system kind of suck compared to the IE. I loved IWD. I felt it was the most realized of all the IE games. But I never played the NWN2 stuff.

Was gambling useful for anything other than maybe 2 or 3 areas that had slot machines? I don't know. I never used it much. Seemed like a waste of a tag skill frankly.
  11. D&D IS a combat simulator. Especially without a good DM. So especially in a crpg.
  12. You guys should post some of your stuff. This forum could use some more art.
  13. Other than the QTE (which you can keep), I'm looking forward tos ee how it all plays out.

Bring back the gambling skill! How can you not, in this setting. Also, unarmed players should get a chance to get involved with boxing. Also, plz plz plz, makes skills, stats, and perks matter enough so that no player can be both the master boxer and the greatest gambler. Character development choices ftw!
  15. I've always wondered what causes this desire in people. Not so much the political side of it right now, but in general the desire to control what others say/do, especially in something as especially meaningless as a video game. Is it simply a political vote getting thing? Or do people really care that much abotu regulating others. Is that one of the atttactions of power?
  16. I just lined up all my ingredients by essential substance alphabetically. That way I always knew what I had and where to look for what I needed. It was pretty straightforward.
  17. I generally agree, although a couple fights are insanely tough while 99% of the general combat is pretty easy, even on hard. I thought the alchemy system was pretty fun, I wish it had been more complex though. Foe example it would have been nice if a really expensive ingredient like Fith Essence made a better potion than a cheapo ingredient that provides the same essential substances
  18. ] That would be a pretty big download, I think.
  19. I just had too see how many people would post TL;DR, lol. Internet hint to LOF: Tellinng poeple not to do something is sure way to guarantee they do it.

Or even just chemical break lights like in Jagged Alliance 2. Anything that makes night/darkness gameplay more atmospheric would be sweet.

Throwable flares would be totally awesome. edit: Flares probably make more logical sense given the setting than hi-tech NV stuff anyway.

Hi Josh, A flashlight replacing the pipboy would be super keen. Or at least a pipboy that maybe has a somewhat more useful light. A directional beam is usually more fun than an omnidirectional glow. Or being able to attach a light to the assault rifle. Or night vision scopes/goggles. I've mentioned all these before, but I'm not ashamed to pimp my desires as often as neccessary. PS: Play Crysis and check out the attachment system for weapons! Wouldn't something similar be sweet in NV? Sure would. edit: For my crappy spelling.
