I was actually partially stupid, I got the 7.11 working, which consequently fixed the alt-tab/quitting weird windows resolution-ish problem, but frame buffer effects are still garbage... any answers? What happens when you try to enable frame buffer effects? Is there some graphical error, does it just not do anything, or can you not select it for some reason? Not really sure what's wrong, as I've never used frame buffer effects. I always thought they were a little distracting.

Is there any particular reason you are trying to use the 7.11 drivers, or is that just because you heard they worked well with KotOR? Unless the newest drivers (or whatever you are using now) doesn't work, then there isn't really any reason to downgrade.

If that guy can do all the plot related aspects of the game in 3 hours, I wouldn't doubt that he could finish everything else in 5 hours.

My glasses are currently being held together with a paper clip. The little screw that holds the frames together around the right lens popped out again and disappeared somewhere in the van. The chances of me finding the screw again are pretty much non-existent. Tiny little screw that is less than 1mm^3 is just impossible to find. I know cause this is the third time it's happened. I'll probably head down to the optometrist tomorrow and get them to give me another screw to fix one up when I pick up my new backup pair of glasses. On the bright side, my prescription hadn't changed since I was in 3 years ago so at least my eyes aren't getting any worse!

Montreal eliminated Buffalo from the playoff race tonight with a 3-1 win. Buffalo won the President's Trophy last season and is out of the playoffs this season. Interestingly enough, the only other team to do that in the expansion era is (according to TSN) Montreal.

First thing you should try is to install this hotfix from Microsoft. KotOR2 doesn't like dual core processors and has been know to act up in such cases. Let us know if that helps. EDIT: Also, if that doesn't help, try enabling V-sync.

You bought this game on release, had problems with it and instead of asking for help then, decided to shelve it for three years before coming back, not for aid, but just to complain?

Jarkko Ruutu almost took off MacGuire's head today. Ruutu went knee on knee with Briere right in front of Pierre. His stick came around and missed Pierre by inches.

TSN mentioned something about Edmonton having the third best record in the league from early February I believe.

And the fact that they could never run as fast as you could, so you were forever having to stop and wait for them to catch up. I stopped caring about escort missions where your escortee is slower than you. Just gives me more time to clear the area ahead before they catch up. It's much better than having them constantly run ahead of you into huge swarms of enemies. *flashbacks of C&C Renegade* Damn you Dr Mobius!

3 of the last 4 games have been Pittsburgh and so is the next one. I'm tired of watching Pittsburgh.

Chris Cuthbert does play-by-play for the NHL and apparently the CFL broadcasts on TSN. I actually didn't know about the CBC thing until I looked it up after you mentioned it. That did indeed suck. :sad:

Personally, I really don't mind MacGuire. It's not like he calls the play by play so it's relatively easy to avoid him.

More important is why TSN has had such crappy games on for the last two weeks of the season.

Still working through Metroid Prime 1. I've cleared most of Magmoor Caverns and Phendrana Rifts, or rather cleared what you can see the first time through them. Just picked up the speed ball.

I finally managed to find a gamecube memory card for sale. Walmart had a crap load of 251's on sale for $5 each so I picked on up. Now that I can finally save games, I've started up Metroid Prime 1. So far it's pretty good, but I'm really missing the motion controls from Prime 3. :sad:

I'm sure you can find a buyer for the third 8800. Either that or now you have an excuse to go buy a mobo that supports 3-way SLI.
