I recall reading a comment by a mod over at Bioware commenting that the last time the website was updated, it was updated with less information than there had been previously. Obviously not everyone was expecting a huge update.

No, it was certainly better than NWN or any of it's expansion's, plus all the user made mods I ever got around to finishing. I dunno if I would say that KotOR was better than all NWN mods. It's certainly better than a lot of them, but there are a number that I would say are without a doubt, much better the KotOR.

BS. BG1 was without any doubt better than NWN1. The only good things about NWN1 were some of the mods and those weren't made by Bioware so the don't count.

I'm waiting for a crpg where the player character never actually has to move from their starting sport for the duration. You are right, Hockey is going to be available for the PC. Interesting. Why only Hockey? Doesn't make any sense, unless it was already in production before they made the decision to get out of PC sports gaming. Or the NHL series sells enough PC copies to justify continuing to create it?

Woo! I have Griswold's Edge now. Just finished slaughtering my way through the caves and completely missed the anvil. Hit level 12 and still hadn't found it so I had to go back through all the levels looking again. I walked right past it the first time through level 10 and didn't see it. -20% light radius sucks. Also dumped my Shield of the Tiger for a unique called Dragon's Breach that has a slightly better armour, +5 strength, -5 magic (only thing I use it for is town portal anyway) and some fire resistance which doesn't really do me any good as I'm almost at max without it. Big attraction was that it was indestructible so I don't have to keep repairing it. Not that I'm lacking for money, I have 265,000 just sitting on the ground in front of Griswold...

i recall you saying you couldn't find a good 1 handed sword did you not get the quest to get Griswold's Edge? Nope. First time through I had Zhar the Mad and the stupid mushroom thing.

Restarted Diablo in the vain attempt at getting some better gear than what I have already. I've hit level 8 and the only thing I've swapped out was Lapis Amulet for a Blue Amulet of Might. Less Lightning resist (still max) but it gives me an extra 9 Strength.

Slept for 14 hours. Slightly more than average for me, but I still envy you. Of course my body did have to repair all the cuts and bruises I scored whilst drunk. I slept for 6 hours instead of 10 because I didn't realize that my dad had most of the day off and that I therefore didn't need to get up early if I want the vehicle this afternoon.

I just reached Diablo. Was moving slowly through the level trying to kill as many enemies as I could before hitting the big guy. Cleared most of the level and then got just a little ****y running into a room to lure out all the melee guys and ended up getting half a dozen acolytes, half a dozen blood knights and the big guy come after me. Glad I opened a portal before exploring that section. Just made it back before I died. Current Gear The same stupid Fine Claymore I've been using since I hit the catacombs because no one has dropped/sold anything better for use in one hand. Bow of the Heavens (+13 to all stats) Shield of the Tiger (+18 Armour, +49 HP) Ring of the Heavens (+12 to all stats) Ring of Precision (+29 to Dex) Jade Plate (+54 armour, +21% resist all) Veil of Steel (+15 Str/Vit, -30 Mana, +50% resist all, -20% Light) Lapis Amulet (+33% Resist Lightning) Much better than last time. If only I could find another decent sword.
