Can't remember much about those two. I remember that there was a thracian sword unit that wore like zero armour except for a helmet and were damn hard to kill. I remember having a unit of 160 of them kill over 5000 people before it ended up being totally wiped out. I used them to chase down routing enemy units or to circle around and attack units engaged with my phalanxs to the rear in one game as the greeks. Can't remember their name though.
"...the alternative is to go home and play with some Go-Bots?!"
"NOOO!"
"No!"
"Nooo!"
"Nooo, not Leader-1!"
"I thought I killed that skooter thing, oh my god!
Unicron kill me now!"
"Gobertron my ass!"

Best song evar! "
I can't help but feel that he could have gotten more than a 3rd round draft pick though. Samsonov for two years at $3.525 Mil though. They need more size than speed and skill though...
I loved watching those Gauls turn and run before even getting to my front line. "
Gauls: "Charge! We will slaughter those Romans. Those puny arrows cannot hurt us!"
*Roman legions toss a volley of pila*
Gauls: "Eek! Big arrows! Run away!" *runs home screaming like a little girl*
Either one works well, however you quickly become strong enough that you will kill one enemy per round whether or not you use flurry or power attack. Choose which ever you think has the better attack animation.
I haven't been able to do that since I started playing on the hardest difficulty setting. You pop your head out of the trench on the first American mission without throwing smoke grenades first and you instantly get targetted by three MG-42's. <_<
I had a lot of fun with the game, but some of those British missions are so very infuriating and isn't helped by the fact that the Thompson with it's 20 round clip sucks more than any other weapon in the game. I never played the first CoD so that might have improved my outlook on CoD2 somewhat as I hadn't seen everything before...
If JR is as serious about shaping up as he says he is and they can get him cheap then it might be a good signing for them. I've always liked JR, not for his skill, but because he's such a loud mouthed jerk I just can't wait to see what he says next.
Me too. I also remember Civilization and the Sim City/Farm/Ant games helped in getting me hooked as well, but Commander Keen was the first one that got me into gaming.

I didn't get to play simcity/farm/ant until grade 4 in public school. I was playing Commander Keen at the age of 4. "
Exactly! I should be the ninja! I should have no speaking role, but be in everyshot. My little lego person must be painted the same colour as the background of whatever scene he is in. That would perfectly represent my lurker like personality. "
No, you just change clothes. It has to do with the plot.

No expense spared in this production, I see ... it even includes A PLOT!

Wow! Not even hollywood does that anymore!
