I'm getting my ass kicked by computers in Brawl. Computers!

I didn't get it last night, but I'm going to pick-up my pre-order tomorrow. I was at Walmart as 8am to pick up my copy. So far I'm 1-9 or so online with my friends. Only came in last once at least. I need to practice.

I discovered that my snowblower has now died. There doesn't appear to be any left in town because all the retailers are stupid and ordered 1/5th of the usual supply despite all the warnings that it was going to be a record winter. Now I have to shovel snow with an actual shovel.

You guys said you work better when happy and that a Ducks cup win would make you guys very happy. I have yet to see any results from last year so you can go to hell this year.

I was challenged to a few songs on Audiosurf, so I'm back at that. Also, once I pick up a gamecube controller I'll be playing F-Zero GX.

Would you rather see them make the playoffs, or get Stamkos? There seems to be a lot of talk about which one people would prefer right now. I can think of several sports writers who have done stories about the number of pissed off Leafs fans because this winning streak is ruining their chance at getting Stamkos. Just thought I'd ask your opinion.

What about the guy that played the T-1000 in Terminator 2? Come to think of it though. He didn't pull off emotionless either. He seemed to smile a fair bit.

I finally got fed up with having a non-functional scroll wheel on my mouse so I took it apart to fix. Couldn't find the second hidden screw, so I ended up ripping it apart. Thankfully that little bit of broken plastic is well hidden inside and affect the mouse much. Took the entire scroll wheel assembly off and cleaned all the gunk out of it and put it back together. Forgot to replace the spring that gives it the "click" when you scroll, but it did work. Opened it up again to replace that spring then put it together again. It stopped working. Took the case off it and tested it. Mouse wheel worked again. Put it back together, but didn't screw it back together. It still works. Put the screw in and it stopped working again. Loosened the screw slightly and it works. I spent 15 minutes taking apart my mouse and cleaning the mouse wheel assembly to fix something that only needed a single twist of a screwdriver.

I'm in the middle of an 8 player FFA with a friend and 6 hard computers. 60ish planets spread over 3 stars. I've been trying something new this time around. My entire fleet is made up of carriers except for 2 colonizer battlecruisers. It's actually going pretty well. Not much can stand up to 30 bomber wings making an attack run. Unless of course the enemy decided to go straight flak frigates, but luckily they aren't smart enough to do that. This way I at least get to kill a few cap ships as everything runs away. I've currently got 3/4 of the planets in my system so I'm pretty much just mopping up at this point. Both enemies that are left have some pretty decent sized fleets, but they never want to stick around and slug it out. On the planet bombardment topic, yeah it is pretty damn slow. I tend not to build seige frigates just because they take up so many supply points and instead just keep 4 or more caps in a fleet. It still takes some time, but once you research some of the bombing techs, it's not nearly so painful.

That's part of the reason that Pierre McGuire didn't like the deal. Hossa isn't cheap and Malkin only has one more year on his entry level contract before he'll be looking for a big contract as well and then you've got a Tampa situation where you have a damn big chunk of cap space locked in in your top three forwards.

Pittsburgh picked up Hossa?! Angelo Esposito, Colby Armstrong and Erik Christensen head to Atlanta. Pascal Dupuis also heads to Pittsburgh as part of the deal.
