  1. I'm playing hearts. Online. Lost against my self-esteem. Haven't seen it since.
  2. This seems like a proper mage. I'm gonna play that class. It's decided.
  3. Bin Laden doesn't want a truce. He just wants Bush to say he'll never make peace, thus making him seem more like a warmongering nut.
  4. Serious willy wavers? There's something you don't see everyday.
  5. Well, my machine barely even ran 3DMark 2003, much less this one, so yes. But my point is that the program is a bit useless when you can use actual games to see if your computer runs whatever you want to play. Why would someone pay 20 bucks for something which is basically a tech demo?
  6. Isn't 3DMark only used by people that just want to say they have bigger Richards than everyone else?
  7. Why all this hate for Red Eye? I thought it was great. The airplane scenes were very well directed.
  8. Most impressive!
  9. Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds - West Country Girl
  10. and that Batman and robin make a cute couple. And that's when...
  11. A Water Bomber piloted by scantily clad firewomen appeared to save the day. Unexpectedly...
  12. Actually grilled food is better than boiled. Boiled food leaves a lot of its nutrients in the water.
  13. I just had an idea for a useable ability for the player. Death(y?) could open it's robes to stun people. There would be like a deep never ending chasm inside the robes.
  14. A "Synergistic Processing Unit". It's a processor with a large amount of brute force but a lot less intelligence (that is why it needs an army of programmers to extract its full performance). The PS3's Cell is made up of of 1 PPU (Principal Processing Unit?) and 7 of these SPUs. I think it's Primary Processing Unit.
  15. In what way, exactly? I think he is insulting your drawing skills. :D
  16. The Shop Around The Corner. Classic romantic comedy. Great.
  17. That was just what I was thinking. That seems like a cool idea. My idea would be more centered around an adult with a girlfriend(perhaps wife and kids?) and old parents to take care of who is unwillingly stuck with Death's job. This would be the motivation for him to understand what happened. The basis for the narrative would be Death having to deal with a family and juggle around the job and the land of the dead(think Bettlejuice's social security scenes). Of course, the family doesn't know he's got a new day job. Your idea seems more focused than mine though. And easier to implement.
  18. He probably has an onboard graphics card. And when he says memory he actually means hard disk space.
  19. Max Payne 1 & 2 The Thing
  20. From what you say, the Weird story seems to be the most interesting. Would that be set in the land of the dead, or somewhere else? I think such a story could(should?) be set in the real world. The PC could be someone that takes Death's place. He could be the next in line to die, but doesn't die due to Death's disappearance.
  21. I voted story and character interaction. To me this seems to be essential in an adventure game. I was going to post something about gameplay and narrative development fitting together, but Llyranor beat me to it. So I'll just say he really has a point and that I think this is the only way to go for story based games. @Roleplayer: Agora sei o teu nome...
  22. Reminds me of From Dusk Till Dawn.
  23. This website is spot on.
  24. But many don't even know what TRON is, or where it comes from They should. One of the movies from the 80s. As for the game, if you liked NOLF you can't go wrong with it.
  25. Fanboism is the mark of the wise. Or not.
