  1. Yes he did. You should watch Hearts of Darkness. The making of Apocalypse Now was sheer madness.
  2. NOFX - Hotel California
  3. Kanye West - Jesus Walks
  4. I'll give you Warriors of the Eternal Sun, but Shadowrun was also on the SNES and I wouldn't call Pirates! an RPG. I haven't played the other games you mentioned, so I can't comment on those.
  5. Easily, the "real" Ultima 7. The SNES Ultima 7 port was horrible and only superficially resembled the real thing. All the non-linearity and large gameworld that made the PC version famous had been cut out. Yes, but I still don't know of a PC style RPG on the Genesis that is better than even the crappy Ultima 7 SNES port.
  6. What quality PC-style RPGs? SNES had Ultima 7, how can you beat that?
  7. Hooray for meta!!!
  8. Curious. I don't have the manual here with me, but I think there's a text written by Brian about the development of Alpha Centauri in it that describes the involvement of Sid in the creation of the game.
  9. What about those that think that Civ1 is the best of the first three civs?
  10. Well yeah, but....but that accent of her Don't knock Sheena Easton! 80s sex symbols rule.
  11. Bastila was an annoying bore. Annah was a hot female half-fiend with a tail and a body that gets literally hotter when aroused.
  12. Nick Cave - Green Eyes
  13. I found it hard to change NPCs later along in BG. I had spent too much time with the characters. The party in my first BG game was composed of Imoen, Jaheira, Khalid, Minsc and Dynaheir. I kept the same party after the Gnoll stronghold bit. Also, I always reloaded when one of my NPCs died, no matter what. I had to go through all the battles without losing a single character. Resurrection felt like cheating.
  14. I watched Psycho yesterday. Hitchc0ck is a god (or perhaps the God, I'm not sure). I especially liked the longer conversation scene between Norman and Marion. Very creepy. EDIT: Hooray for censoring.
  15. I've been playing some form of of a civ game more or less regularly for over ten years.
  16. Week days are actually better for me. Some weekends could be fine. As soon as I get the game. :'(
  17. Actually, once I played Fallout 2 with an unarmed character for the first time, I've never been able to replay the game with an armed character again. It's awesome. At first it makes things a bit harder, but once you get enough levels you are absolutely invincible. Get all the action points perks, as you'll be running all over the place.
  18. but france would not have opposed, either. ah yes, funny how france and russia's opposition was more about oil than our willingness, yet rarely is that mentioned. to quote you for myself "Truth to the extreme." Er..., I wrote that quoted bit, not Astr0creep. Also, I should say it is better to oppose the invasion of a country because of oil than to invade a country because of oil.
  19. I don't see why Iraq is a better launching point than say, Europe, against terrorists based in Africa. And lets not forget that if Iraq's main natural resource was turnips, the U.S. wouldn't have touched Saddam with a fifty foot pole.
  20. I'm playing hearts. Online. Lost against my self-esteem. Haven't seen it since.
  21. This seems like a proper mage. I'm gonna play that class. It's decided.
  22. Bin Laden doesn't want a truce. He just wants Bush to say he'll never make peace, thus making him seem more like a warmongering nut.
  23. Serious willy wavers? There's something you don't see everyday.
  24. Well, my machine barely even ran 3DMark 2003, much less this one, so yes. But my point is that the program is a bit useless when you can use actual games to see if your computer runs whatever you want to play. Why would someone pay 20 bucks for something which is basically a tech demo?
  25. Isn't 3DMark only used by people that just want to say they have bigger Richards than everyone else?
