  1. How will a well regulated militia defend itself against a nuclear threat.
  2. To be fair, the overwhelmingly vast majority of schools still do not have anyone shot or stabbed. But yes, I agree we are going wrong somewhere. When we had a serial killer epidemic in this country, you saw changes in the way law enforcement worked, and extensive research done into the mental state of the killers. Now that we have a mass shooting epidemic, it would be best if we responded similarly, with targeted research and resources devoted to mental health. But people keep talking about guns instead. Is there an unusually high number of people in the US with mental health issues? Or is there instead an unusually high number of people with mental health issues that have access to guns?
  3. Obviously, but I'm asking Guard Dog, who is not the living personification of the second amendment, despite appearances.
  4. In the game options you can find a slider that allows you to change the font size. That should help, at least.
  5. The thing is, quite simply, that Americans love guns too much. It's just your gun culture. If a high enough number of people likes guns, wants guns and owns guns, there will always be some people who will get and use guns inappropriately. Those people may be unbalanced individuals that go on shooting sprees, people who don't store guns away from children, people who lose their guns, people who don't maintain their guns regularly, people who sell their guns on the black market, or whatever else you can think of. These people will be a very small percentage of the overall group, but as that group is huge, they will still be significant enough to cause stuff like that happens almost everyday in the States. And forget about changing this. Outside of some sort of catastrophe, a society's basic cultural trait usually changes only over decades, at the very least. If something like Sandy Hook didn't change perspectives towards guns, then nothing will.
  6. Steam has specific, very low pricing for certain Asian countries, including Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal and Bangladesh.
  7. Citation needed that is not from the Austrian School of economics.
  8. Let's not forget that that disingenuous ass voted for a massively increased deficit without any guarantees of a decrease in spending, so he is as much to blame as everyone else. Seems to me there are plenty of senators like him. Plenty of them say one thing then vote for something else.
  9. As I already said, most of Korean backers don't want this. We pledged because we don't like local retailer's Korean monopoly. We wanted Korean will be included in global version same as other languages. Does other languages in pledge goal also backers & local retailer only? NO. Then why Korean local is so special, and got restricted without any explain? Dev should explain this problem as detail as they can. If not, we keep believe we got scam, that dev double selling Korean translation right. Aarik already explained that only retail purchasers will have to get the Korean version through H2 interactive. Those, like you, who already backed the game, will get a Steam or GOG key for the Korean version of the game.
  10. McCain was also always terrible, he just had a good political image, mavericking his way into always voting against his principles.
  11. Guard Dog definitely didn't vote for Trump. I seem to recall him saying, however, that Trump might just be what the current corrupt system needs. Regarding checks and balances that's exactly what I was getting at. They may pretty good, but they amount to pretty much nothing at this point.
  12. Here's an idea: what if you elect a power hungry narcissist that has never held elected office to a mostly unsupervised position with a bunch of unchecked powers*? I hear that might just be the thing to reduce the amount of moistness in the freshwater forest. Because it seems quite clear to me that the problem with the previously elected, power hungry narcissists is the "previously elected" part not the "power hungry narcissist" part. *If anyone mentions checks and balances I will probably present you with a picture of congress doing nothing.
  13. Dragon Age: Origins Its plot is a big ball of suck and hopeless genericness. I would do an obvious change to the game's beginning that would turn everything on its head and would make DA:O have at least one positive aspect. I'd have the idiot king win that first battle instead of getting killed. The win would come through sheer luck and some help from Loghain. Being the completely unlikeable but well meaning idiot that the king is he would take it as a sign of being awesome and would continue espousing ridiculous policies and strategies, while ignoring his advisors, and dismissing the Blight. You'd have to go underground to surreptitiously gather forces to fight the Blight, while the King prances around the whole time all jackassy and full of himself. At the end of the game you would be able to choose between siding the Grey Wardens or siding with Loghain. Siding with the good guys would mean ending up under the king cleaning up his messes for all time. It would be the worse ending in terms of outcome for the people of Ferelden because of the idiot king being in control. Siding with the bad guys would get you the throne or at least real power. You would be able to use that power to make life much better for the people of Ferelden. This would help DA:O suck less. You would still have to contend with crappy, repetitive combat, though.
  14. Nice, but why would you put on promotional material that the director was responsible for Warcraft?
  15. How does this work anyway? My wife says she wants to watch Harry Potter again sometime. She says this outside, out loud, not typed anywhere, yet there come the Harry Potter adsense ads on my computer's Facebook. It creeps me out. Mics everywhere, beginning with your phone.
  16. Trump certainly has improved on his ability to read from a teleprompter over the past year.
  17. Because god forbid I spend my free time doing something productive.
  18. https://twitter.com/SenateMajLdr/status/954409393507876864?s=17 So Mitch McConnel is now a super villain. "You either save this bus filled with children or the city of Metropolis! This should be no brainer..."
  19. I think it's more of a case of that I can play other RPGs and not experience bugs in 100 hour playthroughs, whereas I play Pillars and there's some sort of bug - big or small - in every single playthrough I've had. Which RPGs are those if you don't mind me asking?
  20. You certainly won't get censored for that post.
