The NOLF games have some awesome set pieces that make you feel like you're there. The airplane and the boat from the first game were highlights for me.

When you get Shandra, you don't have to drop anyone. You just go around with a party of five.

I'm a fan of Shandra even if she is a forced companion.

Helmets never appear on the OC's companions. I think it has to do with the unique head meshes, but I could be wrong.

How does dialogue work in co-op?

I believe that doesn't happen if you click the character's portrait instead of selecting the character himself.

What seems like an awesome vampire movie is Let The Right One In. I hope they release this here in Portugal.

As far as I know, SoZ doesn't require a patch to play, it requires a patch to play online.

I think they're just setting up Bond to be a cold hearted bastard who gets all the ladies and cleverly quips all the time. He will the same character as always, eventually, except you'll know why he is like that. It's just taking a while because of their decision to put the new movies within an overarching narrative.

Agreed, of course. Plenty of linear games are awesome. I didn't say it was linear, I said it was too linear. Anyway Deus Ex, while linear, had fairly open ended levels with different ways to approach each map. Oh, and platforming in a FP game where you can't see your feet is generally idiotic. Actually, my disdain for HL partly comes from only having played it after a bunch of FPSes which were much better than Half-Life. System Shock comes to mind.

It's way too linear, and not half as innovative as people said it was. Also it shares its narrative with Doom.

I'm trying to control myself, as my budget for this month is already stretched as it is. By the way, for us Euros, SoZ is fairly cheap from Play.com.

Generally, teachers here in Portugal don't have nine to five work days. And I assume it's the same everywhere else.

The ideas is that teachers work less hours than other people.

Well, while Eva Green IS hot, Olga Kurylenko was also hot in Quantum of Solace. Hotter in Max Payne, though. Kurylenko and Green in a bod movie is an opportunity waiting to happen. And just to be safe we can hand the direction to Bertolucci.

Well Fallout 1's graphics were quite good for their time, and the game wasn't all that buggy, at least compared to all of Bethesda's games. Everything else is just unjustified opinion.
