I will agree on the most part, however I do find myself either grinding a half to full level for some story quests or taking the story quest under leveled and powering through it. Nothing too bad to deter my experience, and I'm really enjoying the game so far. Currently around level 16 or so I believe.

Haha, true true. Well, the devs announced it on the forums last night because they said their community would know first. An alright day, still three weeks away, plus 2 days after Borderlands 2. Ugh.

Torchlight 2 out Sept. 20th, finally. As reported on their forums by the deva.

Nice, I just took care of the Capra Demon, so I'm making my way down below for a bit. Not excited about the cursing frogs though.

Taking a little break from Darksiders 2 and Sleepings Dogs to put a little time into Guild Wars 2 and Dark Souls (PC). So far, enjoying both games. Guild Wars 2 is the multiplayer game for soloers without friends and I enjoy it for that reason. Dark Souls, well, I put a good amount of time into the PS3 version and enjoyed it more than Demon Souls and I'm having the same fun with the PC version, although I am using the resolution mod. It looks fine to me, at least with the mod, and I can say, for a game that was never meant for pc, the devs did enough in my book.

Can we change servers from beta. What server is everyone on?

Hey Bokishi, what's your name on steam? Mine's SadExchange, at least to be fun to have someone on my friend's list with the game to actually have some added features with competition. Or rather, anyone on the forums here who would like to add me to their list, feel free. -
A review of FEAR 1 noted that the AI tricked him. By throwing an ashtray on the far side of the wall! The guy turned toward the noise and they started shooting him in the back. I don't have an awesome PC and it still looks great. Mostly. Good to hear, have you tried out the texture pack?
-
Hey Bokishi, have you tried Sleeping Dogs? I just picked it up this morning and haven't had time to check it out yet, but I'm assuming it'll look stellar on your pc with your rig.

And where would I "grab" myself a key by chance? Still waiting on an invitation.

What are you playing now? Part 3'ish

Ugh, was playing a world even mission in Anno 2070 and loaded it up today to an awesome message stating that this particular world event mission has expired so I will not gain any benefits from this mission as far as progressing through the game. What the hell is the point of proceeding with it then? Let me finish it off and feel some accomplishment at least with statistics and items that I can take with me. Oh well, guess I'll check out the new world event missions and keep a good eye on the expiration date for sure. Other than that, this game has been a blast. Really enjoy the Anno series and believe that enough steps were taken for this latest one to feel different and unique. Excited for the expansion that focuses on underwater expansion as well. -

I don't have this problem, however when I try to play from my laptop, instead of my desktop, I can't get past the part where you need to tie it to your account, although it's already tied to the account from playing through the entire game on my desktop. I think all this stuff, like "Rockstar Club" is useless and doesn't serve a purpose. -

I agree, I went through the first campaign, which I believe was 4 missions, and have now started on my first world event I believe. And I agree that only being able to unlock stuff during the world events is kind of crappy. On a better note, after playing about 4 1/2 games now, I believe I'm getting the hang of it and am really enjoying the depth offered and I don't even believe I've scratched the surface really. I look forward to more missions or non-mission unending games. Or even Multiplayer to check it out. I bought the collection off steam, so while I missed the stuff in the deluxe edition (which I'm assumed came with the collection, but it didn't), I know what you mean, because of not even being able to pay a couple bucks for what's in the deluxe edition including tech tree, soundtrack, and two bonuses. -

Ahh, I just jumped on Dark Haven. Can someone explain that. Does it matter which "home" server we're on? Are we still able to group up or not?
-
What server are people here on the forums for this game?
-
Very excited to try it out for sure. Just a few hours away. Won't have a huge amount of time to try it out, but want to see how it'll run on the laptop when I'm away from home. Been great to read all of your comments and I'm really looking forward to it.

Seems like it has some potential to be a pretty good game judging from the article. From the sound of the devs, it appears that they want to make a product that will people will want for a price they'll pay. Or it's nice to hear devs talk about a price point other than $60, at least. http://www.ign.com/a...perience?page=1 I can't seem to find an official site for the game however, but I'm expecting one will go up soon. Is it bad, that just from this article, I want to pre-order the game already to get into the beta when it comes out? I have thoughts of trying out Day Z, however the idea of an actual development team, as compared to one guy modding another game, seems more intriguing and long standing. No offense to Rocket, it appears he's done quite a lot with it, but this one will probably help me hold off buying Arma just to play a zombie survival game. Site is now live http://thewarz.com/

Question about Anno 2070 for those who have played it/ Wanted to ask how it compared with previous Anno games and if it brought some new things to the table besides just the setting. Seems rather interesting and Gamersgate has it for $20 right now. I knwo that Steam only went down to $25 and while I'd like to just get it from Steam, wanted to ask first.

Haven't played it but have watched quite a few videos on gameplay. Looks interesting, but I'm not quite sure of the whole concept, I keep hearing it's fun, however can begun dull due to the huge space with not much within it. -

I agree with everything in this post. I've been apart of the beta for quite a long time now and have seen a lot of progress and am very excited about the idea of end game content and their ideas behind MP and PvP in the coming release. I also do hope that something is done about the mini-map, but I'm sure it will if enough people raise a complaint, because these guys seem to listen to the players quite a bit and it's nice and refreshing to see a team that's not out to get as much money as they can out of their players. -
I'm definitely interested in hearing some more opinions about this game. Would be nice to play a decent turn based from my recliner:) Oh, us lazy Americans:) But I would definitely be happy with a pc release as well. Is there a loot system to the game as well?

It's Financial Suicide Simulator III. You play Greek hedge fund managers and score points, Angry Birds style, for jumping off of higher and higher office blocks belonging to financial institutions. I like this answer more though.

I'm in the same boat. I'm waiting til tomorrow for my laptop so I can be more mobile when gaming as compared to just at my desktop.
