Picked up and playing Tales of Maj'Eyal on Steam. Been really enjoying this older style rogue-like. A really solid game. Now, if I can stop from dying:)

I would say that's about 75% correct. There are some gems out there.

After they switched over to trading cards, I have pretty much sold everything I came across usually for $.15-$.20 a piece and just used that to buy games. What I get frustrated with is that there are a lot if games I've already played, beaten, and don't care to go back to that now have cards that would be potential income. Not a lot but it does add up. So then I usually run them in the background while I do other work. I have no interest in creating badges and upping my steam level. As others have expressed, I wish they would tie your level more towards other results of gaming.

I really enjoyed Far Cry 3, while the story isn't the best, the gameplay is pretty good throughout. I suggest using the bow for EVRYTHING as it makes the game much more appealing and survival-based. Overall, really enjoyed it and thought it was a big step past Far Cry 2.

I really need to get back into my game of DD. I think I was in the mid 30s as far as level and was really enjoying it but was getting bogged down by all the side quests, but everytime I read a post on here about it, it gives me motivation to get back into it. Thanks! lol

This is exactly what I thought when I first read the post. Man, if there was enough time to release a product close to what was promised for Vanguard, you might be playing that right now instead of making this post. Too bad it pretty much crashed and burned due to the huge amount of bugs. I think about this type of game from time to time. How it would be mostly geared more towards hardcore players, however those of us with less time on our hands, like myself, could still get something out of it just by being in the world and actually role playing your character instead of "playing the class."

I'm pretty sure that's Drakensang. I'm playing Drakensang 2, hence the similarities. Is Drakensang: River of Time considered Drakensang 2? Plus there's the Philesasson's Secret Expansion correct to RoT. River of Time is also a prequel to Drakensang? Is that correct?

And I got jealous so started playing that again Reading about it here has caused me to redownload it again. Although I will say that I've started playing Blackguards, the early access, and have really enjoyed it so far.

I really enjoyed Desperado and the Commandos games, I spent hours on those missions over and over. Really fun style of games.

How well does this run? I realize it's early in optimization, but wanted to check. Also, what are you computer specs if you don't mind.

Go fight a chimera then. You will have an opinion after that. :D I just stumbled across those crocs in the well. I was killing one pretty easily, but then I ran under a waterfall and my lantern went out. So I see the croc I thought I was fighting suddenly have full health and I'm like, what? Then I see another one with full health ... and then another one. Lesson of the day: Don't run under a waterfall with your lantern. It makes crocodiles/lizzard men multiply. I really enjoyed my time with Dragon's Dogma, and it was because of it was presented where you could go anywhere and get the crap kicked out of you all while having to revert back to a save an hour ago. And then there's the idea of the lantern going out under the waterfall, lol, and I really like how darkness in this game is actually darkness without a light source. I'm happy that I was able to get it off PS+. Can't wait to put more time into it.

I've been putting in time with Batman AO on the pc and AC 4 on the PS4. Playing through both of them has been somewhat difficult due to their similar and not similar play style. Enjoying both so far but I will say playing Batman, I wish that AC had some kind of crouch button. At least aesthetically. Anyone else feel the same? I know it's a small thing and I understand AC is about being in the crowd but when I'm on a roof at night it would be cool to be able to squat down.

Lately, been putting some time into Battlefield 4. Honestly, I enjoy the team effort in BF games as compared to COD games. And the vehicles and maps are nice. A little Batman: Arkham Origins which has been pretty good. Enjoying the "badassness" Batman is exuding at the beginning of the game so far. Besides that, a little PoE which I've always enjoyed.

Been putting in some time with Battlefield 4 mp. Been liking it so far. Runs pretty much the same as Battlefield 3 however I've had some crashes here and there but it's just been released so well see what Dice does in the future.

What game is that from?
-
Next question, is anyone here playing? I know Bokishi is, but is anyone else, for possible multiplayer?
-
Anyone on a less beastly computer than Bokishi? I could play BF3 well enough but didn't jump into Bf4 due to not knowing how it would play on my pc.
-
Do to RL stuff going on, I've only put about 10 minutes into the game, but glad to hear that it'll provide some entertainment when RL decides to take a break for a bit.

Need some thoughts or advice about Borderlands 2. I have BL2 on the pc along with every DLC except the latest level upgrade, and psycho pack. I would really like to sit on the couch and play this game, however can't really hook up my pc to the tv and was thinking about the PS3 version. I understand the GOTY version comes with everything, however have seen that they're going to be releasing more. Would you guys just start with the GOTY and then incrementally pick up the following dlc to come, or just wait another year and hope for a GOTY version 2.0 to release?

I kind of wish it took place after the original storyline, instead of in-between. Or have I been reading the information incorrectly?

Nice picture. I know you stated the Starter mod for modding Risen 2, however when I try to look for it and download it, I go in circles with mainly German dialogue that I simply can't read. Any help for a link to where I can get it?
-
Hey Keyrock. Where did you get your Risen 2 mods from? Just wanted to ask. Have it installed, but was looking for any mods that have been released.

GabeN can read your mind and he can sense your desperate desire to learn Spanish. He's also planning to partner with Rosetta Stone, so it's a win-win. haha, that's what I was thinking. Thanks for the notes, but along the lines of 1.) where on my steam application do I go to join the group?
-
Kind of off topic, why does every link to a steam site bring me to the spanish version of the site? Kind of hard to join the group if I can't read the language. Or can anyone tell me how to join the group within steam?
