Hate to ask if you have noted it already but are you playing it on the pic or Xbox one? If so what would your specs be and how does it run if you don't mind me asking.

I actually have had a few of those type of pauses as I've been playing through the main game. Surprised you never ran across that.

As I noted before I hadn't played through Unity more than about 3 hours due to bugs, so I can't judge it. The story in Syndicate doesn't seem to be deep by any standards. I remember when I played the original AC and thought how interesting it was to include noted people of the time that actually ended up dying, somehow, during the actual time period you were assassinating them. And how by the end of the game, something truly unique was taking place expanding the story and universe of the game. I really feel that if you're not playing every iteration of the series, you're just left in the dust behind the whole meaning behind the pieces of Eden and the cause, and by this point, at least while playing Syndicate through sequence 5, it appears that the developers don't really care about keeping you update to date or giving needed explanation or advancement of the overall story/cause which is sad. I really believe if they spent more time with this series and it wasn't a yearly franchise, something great could have come from this series and not just a yearly iteration of the same song and dance with a new toy. Outside of that, I believe Syndicate is a step forward in the gameplay aspect of the series. While I don't feel the moment is exact and precise, I believe it to be some of the best in the series, with the inclusion of the grappling hook. On one hand, the story is simple, but on the other hand, at least they're not diluting it with useless dialogue along the way. From my POV so far, we had our main enemy from the get go and that's still who I'm out to get.

And the fact that it's slated for release on the ps4 this year means it should be easy enough to implement. I'm kind of confused why it's not there already. Would be a good game for big picture mode.

I agree with this totally. Times where I need to take out a single target in a group where 10 are walking around and surrounding the individual, I just pop a few guys with the dart and bam, everyone drops.

. Awesome to hear. I just got done exploring the water temple without picking up the quest first but it was fun just the same. Excited to go back to complete that because exploring caverns/temples/ruins is quite fun and pretty much anything at night is as well due to situations being more ramped up at night.

Currently level 20 in Dragon's Dogma and having fun exploring. Started off as a fighter until level 12 and now currently a ranger, until I level up a bit for the switch to Mystic Knight. The exploration of the dark temples are quite fun as compared to other games "dark" places or night time settings. Leveling up another build in Grim Dawn and just having a ton of fun as always with that title. Even after 150 hours, I still have no problem starting over and creating a new build. Anyone looking at The Witness coming up? Haven't heard it discussed, but have recently seen a bit of advertising for it. Wanted to see if there were any other perspectives on it.

Yeah. Content complete and release in February from what I've heard.

I've just started playing Dragons Dogma on the pic as well. A port that runs really well so far. Just got to Gran Soren after three hours. Love exploring. I played the PS3 version back in the day for around 30 hours but love the vastly improved load times, better resolution and textures and 60 fps. Huge difference. Also playing Assassins Creed Syndicate on the ps4 and after hating Unity, I find myself really enjoying this title. I actually enjoy walking/running around the city collecting random stuff this time around and enjoy the aspects of both characters with playing Jacob mostly due to when my stealth breaks, he can kill his way out of anything lol And besides that, just making different character builds on Grim Dawn. Just love that game through and through

Same here. Can't wait. Right now, I'm playing Assassin's Creed: Syndicate which has been surprisingly good so far. I actually like walking/zipping around the world collecting the little chests and helix glyphs. Much more fun to me than Unity which I couldn't stand for more than a few hours. Also, when I need some downtime on the PS4, I'm plugging away at Trine: Enchanted Edition which has been quite fun and refreshing for sure. Trying to go through some backlog this year lol. And as always, more Grim Dawn on the pc, can't get enough of that game!

Games you want that'll likely never exist

While I really love some of the ideas already posted, I would have to say Too Human 2. Loved the original. -

This looks decent. Is there any sort of a story attached to it? -
If not, you're playing it wrong

I have to agree with a lot of people here. Witcher 3 was one of my top games for the year. But list of top games would probably include: Witcher 3 Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition Batman: Arkham Knight - Probably because I played it on the PS4 Wasteland 2 Pillars of Eternity Surprises Victor Vran The Talos Principle The game I spent the most time with though is Grim Dawn which is technically content complete, but will have a "soft release" in the spring sometime, so that game will definitely be at the top of my list for next year.

. Honestly, I've put in about 70 hours into the ps4 version and am blown away by what they could do with the system when all other developers are claiming the consoles are not powerful enough. I understand they're not beastly machines but when they make a game this big look this good, it kind of seems like some devs are a little lazy. -
I don't want to tell you to cancel but I believe GameStop has it for $20 right now for both consoles. Not sure if you're looking at of or consoles. You might want to see if Amazon will give you a price change due to having to wait even.

I just started a Death March run and am going to try and search all areas knowing I'll need the fear and loot, and after about an hour am quite enjoying the challenge associated with this difficulty and am curious how it'll go for the next few hours.

I'm thinking about this as well due to having a backlog of solid games to play, plus the constant barrage of $90+ "complete" editions are getting stale when game prices are constantly dropping quickly after release.

Hold up...so there's singleplayer mode on the PS4 version? Like, legit "my internet is out right now, but I can play just fine" singleplayer mode? Oh yeah. There is. Honestly I own both the pc and ps4 version and after starting up the ps4 version, never really went back. Especially with how it controls on the controller.

I put some time into it on the ps4 (Just Cause 3) and have enjoyed. It would probably get repetitive if you're not spending time being creative and having fun. I know there's been lots said of the game running on consoles, while I've have some slow down, I would say that it's terrible and I've been in the middle of some big explosions. Can't run it on my pic. Stutters like crazy which from reading the forums could be due to the always online for their servers and leaderboards. Poor choice to institute this into a single player game. Kind of like a Burnout "beat your friends" scoring leaderboard with all your friends. Overall I'm enjoying but I also dig grappling a tank onto a helicopter and wreaking havoc lol

Yeah. Curious to try out the MP of Uncharted this weekend for sure. Sorry for asking but what is TPS?

Yeah, I've probably put about 100 hours into it so far and look forward to the full release and starting numerous characters over. Been playing Co-op with a friend and are towards the end of Act 3, which is nice because the second half of Act 4 will probably be released by the time we get to it. The character diversity is just awesome and the 250 legendaries items that are being incorporated into the final patch appear to be just awesome. -

Playing a little bit of Grim Dawn lately. The game should be content complete by mid to late December where Crate will do a "soft" release with a full release in the beginning of next year. The game has gone through a ton of updates with the new Devotion system and updated graphics. Any fan of ARPG should be putting some time onto this game. -
May try that out if I see one out and about. I'm thinking the configs would work if I do them on my computer, since I'm streaming to the link from my computer, but who knows.

Yesterday I picked up a steam link due to my office(desktop) being located about 50 feet from my living room tv. Was only able to hook it up, install and update, and then start a game (Mad Max) to check the latency and for the few minutes I was pretty surprised with how well it ran and simple to navigate the menus. I'm only using an Xbox 360 controller so far as I haven't picked up a steam controller, maybe around Xmas but I'll update when I can. I mainly got it for certain games lik Fallout which I can play with better graphics and dos than on the ps4 but also look forward to Victor Vran or even Kingdoms of Amalur while on the couch. I know Keyrock has a steam controller. Would you recommend that to replace a Xbox 360 controller at this time? Do you know if you can reconfigure buttons while on steam link? I wasn't sure if you had steam link or just the controller.
