Wow. Much more in depth then I had thought. Thanks for taking the time and also for all the screenshots of your gameplay!

I have 107 hours played. Never played against another human being. So it really depends on how much you end up enjoying the gameplay. Single player you create your warband and start playing missions. After a couple of missions you get offered a story mission. You can try it whenever you feel ready. After beating it, you play a few random missions before being given the next story mission. There are 8 story missions per warband in general, but mostly you will be doing the procedural generated random missions to get XP, gold, loot, and wyrdstone. If you can get behind the "I want to make this warband awesome!" mentality, or the "I want to see if I can survive" mentality, then the game has loads to offer. If not, the story is more tagged on, so not really the reason for purchase. Thanks for the info. As far as loot, how would you describe it? Itemized per each guy in your warband or just an upgrade to the entire warband?

With Mordheim, how long would you say the single player component of the game is? Your time with multiplayer, is it mainly against AI or a person?

I'm currently playing a lot of games, not really successfully. I have a game going in Wasteland 2 DC which I'm really enjoying quite a bit and after starting Divinity: OSEE on the PS4, after 15 hours, I just can't stop playing. All the enhancements plus the great controls make this game a gem on the couch. I've started a character in Fallout 4, but haven't been drawn into it just yet. Other than that, playing some Co-op with a friend in Grim Dawn and just enjoying the heck out of that game. Think we hit level 39 so far and just having a ball. Ahhh, real life stop taking my time away from me:)

You're exactly right Keyrock

I just started it up before work and made it through the vault. After leaving the vault, Fraps says I'm getting around 4-45 fps with everything on ultra with the exception of shadows on medium, because they always kill my framerate/performance. I'm trying to look for an FOV slider, but maybe there isn't one. No bother. I will say, it looks pretty decent so far and I'm excited to start exploring and forget the main quest entirely lol, but we'll see how much time I get between work/family stuff. Also, for reference, my setup is an i7 4790 @ 3.6, 8 Gb Ram, and a Nvidia 750 ti for anyone to reference.

In my understanding problem is actually in Unity 5, so it cannot be sorted before Unity fixes their engine. And Unity 5.3 that may fix it don't come out until 8 of December, so it is at least over month before there can even start to work patch that fixes it. Well, hopefully that fixes it up then. Too bad that it wasn't found out about before release, or maybe they knew it was a known issue. I wonder how the PS4 and Xbox One fair with something like this? I don't mind waiting, and the problems I've had haven't been too troubling so far.

I will say this is one thing I've been having a problem with as well. I only play for an hour or two at a time due to my schedule and time but whenever I exit the game, I need to wait about 5 or so minutes for my computer to get back to normal. Luckily I haven't experienced any problems within the game due to the memory issue but definitely when I leave. Hope this can get patched soon enough.

I'm very much looking forward to Hard West. And am super happy to see the TBS games going strong with Wasteland 2: DC, Divinity: OS EE, Hard West, and then XCom 2 coming up. I just have been loving these games and have been appreciating the devs creating them. I'm sure by the time XCom 2 releases, I'll probably be settling into the alpha of Divinity 2. Good time to be a gamer, as always.

I have a slightly different take so far. I see a lot of customization with the amount of skills your characters can have and am having decent fun. Although I do believe it's more casual. While playing alongside Wasteland 2 DC, I will say I really enjoy true turn-based combat more than the pause type combat in SWL or Pillars. Feels like a lot more depth. So far, SCL combats feels fast and was clunky, however after a couple hours and unlocking more abilities, I've definitely started to enjoy it more. There are quirks here and there for sure, but so far it's been pretty good. Not really DnD, but I do appreciate the setting.

And by wait, I mean wait a week and cave because it really is a good game and great story overall. It's a great sequence of gameplay like an 8 hour action movie with each game.

I loved the series on the PS3 and was about to buy the collection on day one however after recently playing through The Last of Us on the ps4 and then playing the demo for the Nathan a drake collection, I soon realized how old the mechanics were and how much Naugthy Dog has progressed and decided to hold off until a sale. Still great games but I'll wait a bit for a sale. If you enjoyed these games I would suggest picking up a the Last of Us as well.

That game alone convinced me to pick up a PS4. Such a good game, great voice acting, and a deep story. Even the combat was pretty damn good, considering it wasn't really supposed to be its focal feature. I agree, the combat has the right amount of tension with each encounter and I really think the encounters are nicely spaced out with good exploration and storytelling as well. I heard a ton about how good the game was since it released on the PS3, but stalled with it a couple times due to being too busy with other things, but I will agree, this game is easily one of those games you buy a system for. Such a good story, with real emotion, great voice acting like you said, and just a fluid, nice amount of combat. I believe I have about an hour or so left in the story, and I'm excited for the DLC that I picked up. Also, I'll pay more attention of the news bits about a possible sequel from now on!

I recently picked up an old save about 1/5 the way through The Last of Us on the PS4. Damn, that game is good. Naughty Dog certainly knows pacing in a game. Between this and the Uncharted series, I've really enjoyed my time with them. I believe I pushed through about 2/3 of the way through TLOU and am soaking up each minute. After that, I have Left Behind to keep me happy. Going to try and finish it up before the Witcher DLC comes out.

Let us know if you feel that way after 20 hours of filler in the first 24 hours.

With Dying Light and the season pass, does that include the expansion with cars? I thought that was a stand alone expansion due to the size. Also. Has anyone played Ryse for a decent amount of time to write up an opinion here? I know it has repetitive combat but is it worth playing?

Still playing the Witcher 3. Believe I'm in the epilogue right now. Wondering if I can just go off and do questing instead of traveling back to the inn to progress the epilogue? I've heard that when you beat the game, it just kicks you back to the last save before the end quests, with still possessing everything you got from then on, but allowing you to finish questing. Also will be a save for when the expansions come out soon. Any thoughts? Seems like I should just finish up the epilogue then.

Question for those who have beat Witcher 3 and I'll avoid spoilers for who haven't. Asking about end missions and further questing. Did I read right that the expansions will need to be played from a save right before the end mission of the game? If that is true, is there a pretty distinct message that states " hey, this is gonna be the end, so tie everything up you want." I'm at the quest Final Preparations and want to some side quests before I hit the end end, and wanted to know if it's still alright to keep on the main quest.

I pledged on day one as I really enjoyed my time with Divinity: Original Sin, however I really wish they would give a date for the Enhanced Edition. I really want to see the changes made and I would think it would greatly give a boost to the kickstarter as a whole. I've been enjoying the updates for the new kickstarter but don't necessarily enjoy the media blackout for the product that seems rather near to release.

I will say I like to hear that Mad Max has been pretty decent. Is a game I'm quite interested in. I really believe, of all the devs, both Avalanche and CD Projekt are two devs who can design good engines that tend to run pretty smoothly. That's why I'm very excited for Just Cause 3. Lately, I've still been playing The Witcher 3 and still enjoying every minute of it. I believe I finished the main quest line from Skellege and can now go back to the main continent, but the side quests are just so engrossing, I don't want to leave yet, and the witcher contracts as well. The timer in the character screen says I have almost 3 full days put into it, which seems crazy, but I will say that I haven't even come close to being bored with the game yet. I know there are minor problems with the game here and there, I'm not saying it's perfect, but damn, they certainly outdid themselves and I'm extremely excited to see what they do for the expansions. On the note of side quests and witcher contracts, I will say that I'm constantly surprised by how much time and resources they spend with those ideas. I feel like talking to someone when I complete most to let them know how much fun it was lol Again, I'm not trying to portray the game as if it's the messiah of all games, just a really fun and well made game all around and I believe I have a few more days of hours before I even come close to finishing it, the way I've been playing. I haven't go well out of my way to visit every question mark, but sometimes heading off the beaten path is nice due to the game looking so great and the environments having good atmosphere. Well, enough of my gushing over this game. Also have been playing a little bit of Grim Dawn multiplayer with a friend and just really enjoy that game. Solid around and look forward to the full release by the end of the year.
