I have tried changing everything there, but there is no way to change the color of the bar in the start menu.... It must be an image file somewhere... Im quite sure I was once able to get rid of it entirely... I have no idea how it reappeared.

At least is there a way to change the color away from that annoying blue? Is there an image somewhere that I can open and alter?

So it can be removed in the professional version? Or do you mean that it will just say windows xp professional instead of windows xp home and thus I would have gotten rid of it?

When you click on the start menu(the classic one), on the right there is a bar that says "windows xp home edition". How the hell do I get rid of that bar? I am sure I removed it before but somehow it has returned and I dont know how to get rid of it.

Well post count doesnt really matter. I was just really surprised when I suddenly glanced at it and realized how much I had posted. I was under the impression that I only had about 600 posts or so.

Update: I just did a search of my posts. There are 25 posts shown per page and 34 pages. That means that I have made 826-850 posts.

I just saw the number below my name and I have just realized that I have made 2000 posts in these forums. However this is quite mysterious, I have no idea how the hell my post count has gotten this high. I hardly ever post, mostly I just look at a few topics and go away. According to my profile I am most active in the computer and console section where I have posted 350 posts. That makes sense. However I have never posted in the junkyard, in pen and paper and in the KOTOR forums. That only leaves Obsidian General and Developers corner. Now If I am most active in computer and console and I have only posted 350 posts there, that means I must have posted less in these two sections(which is definite since I havent even visited those sections in months). So the maximum number of posts that I have made is about 1000, but I think its most likely about 700 or so. So where did my extra 1000 posts come from??? I dont get how my post count has become so high.

I first played Fallout 2 when I was 12.... Back then a couple of my close friends had played Fallout and they just couldnt stop talking about it. I didnt understand most of what they were saying. So when I saw FO2 on the shelves I bought it wondering what the ****ing fuss was all about. I was hooked instantly.

The Wire is ok but it is just too damn slow... Deadwood is another slow as hell show. I normally just watch half an episode of these shows and then go and take a long, long break. In fact Ive decided to stop watching them. There are only four incredible shows, AFAIK: BSG, PB, Lost and The Shield. 24 used to be good but now it sucks. Im gonna check out Rome. Its too short though... After Im done with that what the next one to watch? PS. I really hate series with seperate plots for each episode, those suck. Long and branching plotlines FTW.

Actually this is the first time I have created a thread about a show in particular, the other times I was just asking for recommendations. Lost had a thread, so did prison break and deadwood, and I believed that the shield deserved a thread as well. The show is basically about a bunch of corrupt cops, its like training day the tv series. The acting of the series is superb, and the characters are very well written. The last episode of season 5 contains the most tragic scene I have ever seen on television.

You have already got it wrong. Youve forgotten Beyond The Dark Portal. Also, you have missed out Warcraft 2 Battlenet Edition and Lord of the Clans, but I suppose those dont really count.

Ive recently started to get bored of the whole Nu Metal thing and have started to get into some more traditional sort of metal. However, I dont want to listen to some 80s stuff with afwul production. I want to listen to modern extreme metal. I really like City by Strapping Young Lad, Brujerizmo by Brujeria, Soundtrack to Your Escape by In Flames and Art of Balance by Shadows Fall. Can anyone recommend some modern thrash, death, melodic death and grind bands, and name their best albums? Thanks.

Im looking for something that has a long plotline, with continuity between the episodes, not something where the episodes can stand alone and have separate plots. What do you recommend? Are there any sci fi shows like BSG that are worth watching? It doesnt matter if the shows are showing on TV or not, Im just going to download the whole thing off the internet anyway.

Operas torrent extension seems to suck a lot. It slowed my surfing speed to a crawl when I was using it. I went back to bitcomet.

Battlestar Galactica was a ****ing awesome series. Now I desperately need another recommendation.

Windows media player sucks. Get winamp. The only flaws of winamp (as far as i can tell) are: - you cant add files to your library, only folders. so if you want to add one mp3 track, you need to select the folder and everything gets added. ridiculous. - it doesnt remember what folder i last added to the library. whenever i want to add new music it always goes back to that annoying stupid default folder and i need to navigate through my hd again to the place where i actually keep my music. - when i delete a file from the media library, or add folders, the library scrolls up all the way to the top. then i need to drag the ****ing scroll bar down looking for where i left off. i think the playlist has some similarly annoying problems as well. - no option to physically delete files in the playlist, need to go to the media library to do that. Very annoying and irritating when compared to itunes. The media library feature seems tacked on and could do with a lot of improvement and fine tuning. But the randomization is better, the sound quality is much better, I can shrink it to just a small bar at the bottom of my screen, and I can have my playlist pop out from the side of my screen, with cool transparency effects! Saves a lot of screen space, and makes accessing my music much easier.
