I made an image to help you find out what equipment your character can and can't use: Note: This item is for Reinhart; you can tell because it has Reinhart's face on it. There is a similar system for drops from monsters as well.
-
It'll have your characters face on it if he can equip it (While you are picking the item up). Every character has their own item type for each slot. Although, I wouldn't mind seeing Lucas wearing those Silk Leggings.

The Radiant Youth
Chasted replied to C2B's topic in Dungeon Siege III: Odo's Scribbles - Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
Its actually mentioned that he also appeared in other forms. Why he is a child in this case would be interesting to know. Because it symbolizes new beginnings. The dude appears towards the person depending on what their destiny will be. -
This is NOT Dungeon Siege
Chasted replied to athlondude's topic in Dungeon Siege III: General Discussion
While I am not related to an Obsidian developer I feel it is my duty as a member of this forum offer some form of apologies that the game did not meet up to your expectations of what the title would imply. Sadly, much like what was implied with the Fallout 3 image, there has to be some form of evolution (Or devolution, as some may argue) in the game title especially if it fell onto "hard times" and wasn't renewed. Call it a sacrifice games make in order to fit in the gaming world we know today; or something Obsidian as a whole wanted to do so that you could have four incredibly unique characters instead of four Barbie/Ken Dolls that you could prissy up and specialize how you wish. -

At the moment there is no real outcome for destroying the Heart of Naggog. To all we know it could influence a possible planned DLC. Stat bonuses. At certain intervals you get bonuses for having your "trust" rating at certain points. There is no way to lose influence (Which I like; I would be saving and reloading in order to maximize that stuff it you didn't)

25 min so done untill the controls are fixed
Chasted replied to Dogtoy's topic in Dungeon Siege III: General Discussion
Well.. The came more calls it a "roll". That thing you do to move about in combat instead of running; while "rolling" you do not have a hit box. -
Bah, Blade Dash. Have you seen the frontal cone range of Earthquake when it's at it's peak? It's awesome. Couple it with a high crit rate and those casters (And everyone in front of you in a nice cone) will start practicing the Wilhelm Scream en mass (Those guys literally FLY). As for Heroic Charge; I enjoyed getting 100% more damage. Sure, in some ways it could be considered "less" damage but you also need to remember that my crits will be painful; before doom ~150% more painful than your "guaranteed" crits (Assuming we both have the +50% crit damage thing). Although I do find it an interesting combo that people "try" to follow in Dungeon Siege; Blade Dash (Augmented with Hemorrhage) and Wind Shear (Augmented with wounding Gale). Note; when I say try I mean "people put all 5 points into hemorrhage but don't follow through with Wind Shear".

You can start blocking *after* you have started the revival process. This will help reduce accidental incoming damage while waiting.

Well, if that is true do so. Now. It might not change my opinion but it might sound awesome (See: Vocaroo) -

Have you updated your driver? Edit: This is what I could find on it: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/303740-3...hics-bsod-error http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm...threadid=104677 -

Pfft, I was more curious as to what accent you have. It would change my answer greatly to that question -
Possible DLCs discussion
Chasted replied to Starwars's topic in Dungeon Siege III: General Discussion
Well, I'll be happy with a nice wide arena style area that could go down with something like this: "So, you want to kill monsters, aye? Do you want to have a hard battle, an easy one or an impossible one?" Queue the PC asking for an impossible one; queue forced hardcore difficulty change and your facing up against -
This might be an Xbox only thing, but the couple of times I've joined another player's game, it gave me the level up screen and all points had been reset for me to choose. Ah, yes. It's an x-box thing.

Chasted replied to soomon's topic in Dungeon Siege III: General Discussion
Ah, but as I said "Obsidian decided against it." Some people might not even know the option exists before it's too late, others might think it's too easy because of this and stop playing and give a bad review (It happens) and while I wouldn't disagree to the fact that it would be nice; at times it is wiser to limit customization for the sake of simplicity. Where are you from? -
Possible DLCs discussion
Chasted replied to Starwars's topic in Dungeon Siege III: General Discussion
Well... A random dungeon generator would be bloody brilliant; just rooms upon rooms of bland monsters being thrown at you. Campaign and story first, of course and yeah... Don't do a Bioware and release "OVERPOWERING ITEM PACK!" -
...You can re-level? How O.o

Happy to help; as a point of reminder - Although it may be easier to ask the community just do a quick google search to double check if your not alone with the issue :D -
Dungeon Siege 3
Chasted replied to Rhipidus's question in Dungeon Siege III: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
...Reinstalled? It seems to be a Steam Error more than an error with the game; check up some other threads that have had the issue (Google Error code 51; seems to be a Directx issue); http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/show...d.php?t=1197485 -
Some updates re: feedback
Chasted replied to Nathaniel Chapman's topic in Dungeon Siege III: General Discussion
Eventually. When adding in a new feature to a game you have to do a ton of testing to make sure it doesn't break the game. It may sound strange but at times a "simple fix" could break game physics somehow or corrupt your save if you use a particular button over the "preferred" button (Then you also have to test keyboards with macros, special characters and possibly kitten holders). If it helps, there is a good chance the guy who thought it the keybindings thing needed got (And could still be getting) a good lashing from the proverbial Cat o' Nine. A very good lashing. -
It's all based on host data. Edit: This might sound a bit strange but does it really have to boil down to "I don't get any items" all the time? I might be a unique mutant but I enjoy playing the game for the sake of playing it and if you have someone who's willing to play through it with you; even better! It's basically the same thing as having it "saved" to you.
-
Well, that would involve someone I know who owns the game instead of randoms on the internet, now wouldn't it? Might sound a little sad but I don't exactly know anyone else who owns the game.

Possibly because Obsidian thought it a better idea to stick with what is currently implemented?
