Yep, once you remap your buttons, the underwater sprint disappears. If you dont have a Toe Biter buggy - reset to default. I could not find another way to fix it. Otherwise, remap as you wish and use only the buggy underwater ... annoying, but that's what I do for traveling ... Hope they fix it, since I want to remap my target lock, as well as have the dodge available, as well as being able to sprint/dash underwater again ...

Just to add - Its not about the buggies being insects only. Spiders are not technically bugs too.

Hey guys, I want to vent a bit and state that - The Toe Biter Buggy is UGLY as hell. As an enemy it is great. I love them, I love their set, I love how strong they are and how annoying can be fighting them, but ... As a buggy that you have, use, love, and cherish - they suck ... I have it for likely a week now and I cannot accept how ugly it is. I dont want to go near this thing. For a water mount, they are like, very emblematic. I mean write in google "water bug" and thats all that poppes up. However, they are not "cool". I love all mounts until now. The ant is such a great choice for a first buggy, since it is just so damn cool. Ants are cool, strong, often seen, loved by everyone who isn't living on the first floor. Spiders, well, they are just cool. I dont think there is anything I need to add. Ladybugs are lovely. They are tanks, yes, but they are just a beloved insect. I remember, when I was a kid, and we found a ladybug, we picked it up, wished for something and lift it so it flies from your hand. It was such a cherished memory. And I think the love for ladybugs is universal. If not for anything else - they eat the bad guys from vegetables. And until like a couple of years most of the population had at the very least a vegetable garden. Black ants - prefer the red ones, but they are a nice touch to the game. The Toe Biter though ... cannot accept it. I know that for a water mount, the list isnt that big, but there are two options that could work. Main one - sweetwater crab (Astacus astacus) - Its cool, has pincers that can chop, can be big and small, similar to the Toe Biters. Perfect replacement, but cooler and good looking. Other - Shrimp or a small frog. Both are not direct replacements. Shrimps are not that functional, cannot be over the water, and the frog cannot chop resources, but can have an interesting attack. Ill say it again - Toe Biters suck. Thank you for reading my rant!

Pff, have an even worse problem. Once I remapped my buttons to my liking, I can no longer even dash under water. There isnt a special button for that dash in the button mapping options, so Im left without one. Thank the bug god I have the toe biter buggy now. I use it all the time now since without the dash/sprint its annoying as hell, even with the swimming gear.

Oh, you dont like that one. I am the wrong person then. I like the mechanics of the light in G2. You always need to sacrifice something for the bare minimum of light. The night is dark and much harder to play. You are forced to avoid it or go to sleep. I like it all. I do think the day is too short. I know I can change that in the settings, but like to play the proper way.

Hey guys, I bought Grounded 2 and play it kinda a lot. I want my brother to play with me. There are two issues. 1st - I am sharing the game with my brother using steam family. Can he play at the same time as me? 2nd - Can I create a game and my brother be able to join me even though we don't have a second copy of the game? I was thinking about buying a second copy, but he isn't as excited about this game as me. So I'm having my doubts. He can always play when I am offline, but I want us to play together, build bases etc. Thank you in advance!

IDK man ... didn't feel that way. Yes, mites are seen often, but they die easy. Orb Weaver Jr are hard, but you avoid them and it shouldn't be a problem. You eventually learn where the big bugs are and avoid them until you are stronger. In general there are like 5 strong bugs in the whole area out of the garden and into the abys area. You can avoid them. The mosquitos look scarry, but if you get an ant buggy, the ant can solo a mosquito with no buggy upgrades. The scorpion is the worst enemy since it can follow you into the base and spawn camp you. What I did when that happened to me was to enter the facility and shoot it with a bow until it died. I was super happy once I got my first stinger. IDK, didn't feel the game was needlessly hard. In fact, you feel the progression much better, because you see these enormous bosses that 2-shot you and slowly get stronger and stronger to get them on. The first minibosses are the Orb Weaver Jr and Northern Scorpion Jr, then you kill the big guys, and the Wolf Spider is almost end-game enemy. Just the thing that you mention grasshoppers, they are not aggressive and they live in areas where you need to go once you have at least tier 2 full gear. Or, idk, just get a ladybug shield and a ****roach mace and ace the game. Both are easy to farm and the mace is the most used weapon by me by far. I changed it only when I killed King Dozer for his mace.

Oh, as a decorative item, this could be neat. A hat stand at the very least will be great for interior design. For the shoes ... I have mixed feelings, but if the design is good, why not.

Umm, there is one ... Maybe you still havent researched the materials to craft it, but there is a mining style headgear that lights in front of you. It is not a lot, but at night its a must in your inventory. I use it together with a special torch with a lot of durability to both light around me and in front of me. The night is dark and full of horrors.

You craft it in the Oven. Likely too late and already figured it out, but hope I helped. The AXL summoning food is also crafted there now.

Love the idea. They fit both as a normal tier 4 mob and as a boss. Terrifying and strong as well. Even a mount will be awesome.

Completely agree, the fight with AXL is by far much better, and I simply dont enjoy the Dozer fight. He just gets 70% damage reduction at phase 3 and he can one shot you with the double stomp he does, which is unblockable and if you do not dodge his first attack it hits you with the second which kills you. I killed him by luck mostly, because for some reason Its very hard for me to invulnerability frame the stomp. I even think the boss is too big for the game. A full lizard?! At least if it was a common lizard (Zootoca vivipara), ok, but It does not fit that much for me. Overall, I love the weapon, shield and armor, but the fight itself ... A praying mantis was apparently a boss in Grounded 2, and mantises can kill lizards, so theres that, but such a lizard feels too much for me. Especially for Tier 3.

I did managed to kill him a couple of times, but felt finicky. Overall the AXL fight is much more enjoyable and structured. The phases made sense, the arena was better and even the boss fitted better. Here the only gimmick is the heat, which if you are alone you either have to: Tank through it, which by itself isnt the end of the world. Figured that once the boss is below 50% I use the ladybug to tank his attacks so I can fix all pipes and then hit him until he's dead. Or hope that the buggie keeps the aggro long enough for you to fix the pipe, which considering in Phase 3 the boss one-shots you pretty often, is annoying as hell. The weapons and shield are awesome, the armor is also pretty cool, but I just don't enjoy the fight that much.
