  1. You got that right Keeps freaking me out
  2. Made it to chapter two. So far, still good. Some bugs and slowdowns are increasing the frustration level, but so far the fun level outweighs it. Characterwise, I think they've done a good job this time around, other than the I like all the characters, even the chaotic evil
  3. But no familiar. If the bug gives +1 HP/level, that'd be like getting +2 more Con for free.
  4. Did anyone else catch the part where broke nose was saying something about Jack and the List? It happened so fast I only caught part of it.
  5. I really want to try a Sorcerer 1 (to open the class) / Fighter 8 or 9 / Red Dragon Deciple 10 That looks to have some nasty combat potential.
  6. Yes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I hated the radial menus.
  7. Interesting change.
  8. Jack FTW!
  9. I knew he reminded me of someone.
  10. I decided to play it Planescape Torment style and started neutral... now I'm Neutral good and almost Lawful good I wonder what I'm doing wrong.
  11. Thread pruned a bit. Please remember we have people of all ages using these boards, so try and keep things PG-13ish Thanks.
  12. I was wondering the same thing too. Might be safer to just play the game to the end, then patch, then start round two.
  13. At this point... I'm just looking forward to Jade Empire.
  14. Actually... you can even pull it off with a pure caster. Take Martial weapons as a feat and you're set. I hear Sorcerer 10/Eldritch Knight 10 works really well this way.
  15. I disagree. It comes down to "what" you're taking each class for. For example: I took one level of rogue for the skills it unlocked. I took one level of fighter for the feats. I went wizard as my spellcasting class. I'm going Eldritch Knight to finish. All told, I'll have high levels in a lot of different skills, lots of feats, and with Still Spell I'll be able to fight in full plate as well as a cleric and still bring down some serious wizard style firepower. I just made some Mithril Fullplate (for example) and I'm finding this combo works really well. ^_^
  16. Same here. I'm not sure how far I am in chapter one, I'm only up to the
  17. Wow People are finished already? I'm still in chapter one. I "love" UseMagicalDevice skill. I'm sticking to my Eldritch Knight... but for my next game I'll go back to a more usable warlock. Being able to use other classes "exclusive" items look fun.
  18. I like her for four reasons. Open locks Find traps Remove traps And the occasional bit of humor. Of course, I'm only far enough to have access to 4 npcs at the moment. Edit: Oh oh! And the really cool Greatsword she "found" for me in the I wonder if that was an influence thing?
  19. Thank you, Lare, I hadn't seen that one when I created this one. I think for the time being I'll leave them both open. In light of that, please use this one for "impressions" about the game's content (which the original one started out as), and the other one for general discussions and questions about the game (which the original thread transformed into) Finally, please take all "tech" questions to Skeeter's Junkyard. Thanks.
  20. Ah, another general thread I didn't see at the time I made the part two. How about we use that thread for "first impressions" and this one for a much needed questions and content dicussion thread?
  21. Strat games? Awesome. I'll have to look into them. :D
  22. I don't think I've heard of a single game on that list. What genre are they?
  23. Yeah, I've lost a little sleep to it.
  24. Please continue. Part One
