Maybe an in game "call on the darkside" action?
Something that gives the character a buff, at the expense of darkside points?
At least until they're in the darkside (red background in KotOR)?
That could work
I tend to agree.
If I recall, you get a LOT of power from the darkside then eventually it kinda levels off where the Lightside starts slow but maxes out farther.
Kinda like on a 1-10 scale.
Lightside starts at 1 and ends at 10
Darkside starts at 3 and ends at 8
Still powerful, but the consuming nature tends to create diminishing returns.

It's ok
For the record, I'd probably play a Diablo-2ish Star Wars game
which reminds me.... it's been quite a while since I've played Diablo 2.
I seriously doubt it.
From my experiences with beta testing SWG, I know that Lucusarts has it's hands REAL deep in anything that it's connected to.
Heck, Obsidian probably has some sort of "continuity liason" from lucasarts they have to deal with.
At least Sony did with SWG, so I'd be surprised if they didn't.
LOL
I was being sarcastic, so ease out.
'sides, that's what you get for posting in the wrong forum.
<edit> Besides, note the "?", it was a question, not a statement.

don't read too much into it.
The best analogy I think I can come up with is an antfarm (do these things really exist?) the sims is a game that plays itself.
Granted you can make decisions and direct the "action", but all in all you're more an observer than anything.
I'm not sure how else to define it.
