I wouldn't own a copy even if someone gave it to me for free. I saw the "first" special edition movie (ANH) and decided to never watch anything he's "retouched" again.

It might be old, but it's already set up for the setting Heck, with the right members with real dedication, a fan based group could use the toolset and make a conversion.

I won't be buying it. I know someone who has the originals on LaserDisk... and has the means to put them on DVD.... :D

I'd rather have Daggerfall made with the Morrowind engine. Why? Why not?

How about redone with the TOEE engine? Only if they could fix the bugs (which is why I almost... but didn't... use it in my original statement )

I'm voting with the no crowd. I can see why it would be neat, but it would really trash my feeling of immersion to hear someone "else" speaking for me.

I'd like to see some sort of advantage to NOT wearing armor. Look at StarWars, if armor was so great, why didn't Luke, Leia and Han wear it at all times? In the first movie they used it as a disguise on the deathstar

I'd rather have Baldur's Gate + Expansion + Baldur's Gate 2 + Expansion recreated using 3.5 and a good solid turn based engine.
