  1. I'll be trying it after the price drops. My goal is to own and play every Survival Horror game ever made <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When the price drop? What is his price in USA? In Spain (in USD) are only aprox 25 $ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 49.99 $ it seems according to EBgames.

  3. Is that Obscure ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yup Obscure Obscure is fun, people should buy it and play it :D
  4. That's true enough, I suppose. I still think there wasn't anything special with the first one, though. Just another run-of-the-mill action movie, I say. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I tend to agree. But it didn't screw the series like the second one did, so I can just enjoy it for what it is. The second one though... totally unforgivable It would have sucked even if I wasn't an RE fan If only for the "I know Kung Fu" scene
  5. The first movie was good... the second movie sucked beyond all reason
  6. Hey, no need to thank me! I am a games reviewer, that's what I do ..but I must admit I was a little worried after recommending it to you and then giving it 7.4/10.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 7.4 would be a fair review It was their first attempt after all, and it had flaws.
  7. I like Horror games
  8. I've heard it compared to Resident Evil 4 alot Shame, RE4 isn't a survival horror game... I have a feeling the genre might be drying up well at least Hydravision will be making Obscure 2 BTW: Thanks again mkreku for suggesting that game to me :D It's now one of my alltime favs :D
  9. I heard it really really sucked... so I'm waiting for the price to drop.
  10. Different kinds of horror. Someone on the gamefaqs boards used a good description. Resident Evil is more Survival Horror Silent Hill is more Survival Horror RE tends to focus more on the survival aspects where Silent Hill (The first one is a classic) is more horror.
  11. No, it was given the "X" so it didn't conflict with the "exclusive" Dreamcast Version. Dreamcast got Resident Evil: Code Veronica PC (I think), Gamecube and PS2 got Resident Evil: Code Veronica X
  12. While SS2 is a FPS, it's built almost exactly like a "standard" survival horror game. So it's more of a SH/FPS like Deus Ex is considered a RPG/FPS
  13. Survival Horror games are horror games where combat, ammo management, health management and save management come into play. Pure Horror games usually lack those elements. (Example: Haunting Ground... while it is Horror, it's "survival aspect" is about the same as a super mario game)
  14. Examples of Survival Horror: Resident Evil (Zero, REmake, 2,3,CVX) Silent Hill (1,2,3,4) ObsCure Eternal Darkness Alone in the Dark The Thing Extermination Examples of Horror: Clock Tower Haunting Ground Fatal Frame.
  15. Those aren't Survival Horror games. They're just plain Horror games On topic: Haunting Ground was pretty fun... but very disturbing
  16. True, but it has been done to death in the RE series. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Umm.. hello... RE is a Survival Horror series
  17. What are you babbling about? 90% of the "fanpeople" jumped from Sony to Nintendo when the series became exclusive. Sadly "most" of the people who love RE4 (and are hyping it) are the Devil May Cry and Metal Gear Solid crowd <_< RE4 is a fun game, but has seriously hurt the Survival Horror aspect of the series.
  18. Only Herve probably knows the answer.
  19. Clearly you're not talking about RE4 then
  20. Sucks to be Atari.
  21. Never say never.... "
  22. I tend to agree. But keep at it! You can do it!
