It's trendy these days. Yes, that is correct. It has absolutely nothing to do with the way the goverments have repeatedly "misbehaved" towards other countries dating back to pre-WW2 days. Personally, I think we should just ignore it and focus on all the positive things the US has given us instead Like American Idol or Cheese-filled pizza crusts. "Points"? Do you mean proficiencies? If so, yes, once you fully dual class you'll get your masteries back. In BG2 you have to reallocate your points.

For once I'm going to say: download it! Bethesda hasn't rereleased it even once since 1996, and the copies that are on the market are going for 50-200$, depending on condition. Single Player: Morrowind Neverwinter Nights (a sidekick/pet is not a party) RPGS are story driven games, not party based dungeon crawls.

Having a "party" doesn't make a game an RPG. And not having one doesn't make a game "not" an RPG.

I don't believe I said anything about "gameplay".

My problem with "civ" is that it's old. I played Civ v:1 on a friends comp waaaaaaaay back when.... well way back when for me. I also played it as a rom on my comp a few years back. I also played the living heck out of Civ 2. Civ 3... was an abomination. Between the "same ol' same ol'" factor and the fact they've lost their touch... I've no desire to buy a game I know will bore me. <_<
