  1. The futures market will crash if Hillary were to lose the nomination at 1 to 12 odds.
  2. You're backwards. Pot. Kettle. Black.
  3. Robin Lopez's assaults continue...
  4. A wider International sized rink would help as well. Being honest here, but dump and chase hockey and the neutral zone trap is killing the watchibilty of the game for me. Maybe eliminating the offsides rule would help as well.
  5. I think hockey should be played 4-4 during regular time. Opens up the ice and allows skill players room to actually you know, stickhandle and pass.
  6. Excited? Hardly. I don't hate Hillary Clinton. I just don't like her. She's a politician's politician with all its baggage, connotations, and inherent disingenuousness. Her asinine support of Jack Thompson and declaring video games as a moral power play on the corruption of youth culture and violence in society just smacks of how out of touch she was. She'll likely get my vote, but she ain't getting any time or dime from me as other democratic candidates have gotten. That being said, I have no problem with her as my President and I think she's qualified and will be a fine enough leader. And no, I won't be betting money on her either. 1) Terrible, TERRIBLE payoff. 2) It is illegal to bet on elections in the U.S. *edit* Also what Elerond said.
  7. From PaddyPower: Odds on winning the Democrat nomination Hillary Clinton - 1/12(!!!) Bernie Sanders - 6/1 Martin O'Malley 100/1 Bookmakers have the line for Hillary Clinton as the 1 to 12 favorite to win the nomination. That means you need to put down $12 to win $1 when betting on Hillary. There's absolutely no value play for Bernie Sanders at 6 to 1. NONE. Not with those monster odds for Clinton.
  8. Now why couldn't this have happened during Mayweather v Pacquaio?
  9. Updated lines from PaddyPower for the Republican nomination: Rubio - 5/4 Trump - 7/2 Bush - 7/1 Carson - 7/1 Cruz - 8/1 Christie - 16/1 Kasich - 20/1 Fiorina - 33/1 Rubio is the clear heavy favorite and I wouldn't put money down on anyone else. ...well maybe Cruz at 8 to 1 as a value bet.
  10. Hezbollah is 1) Shia and 2) fighting Israel, all while ISIS is 1) Sunni and 2) NOT fighting Israel. Am I missing something? I mean, that seems fairly obvious.
  11. Hezbollah officially condemns the attack. Hezbollah. http://news.yahoo.com/hezbollah-chief-lebanon-denounces-paris-attacks-184742949.html Which shouldn't be surprising considering both ISIIS and Hezbollah hate each other more than they hate the Crusaders.
  12. Yeah. That does feel dirty. Privates get pauldrons? Who knew...
  13. When it came time to decide on the central plot, several writers pitched their stories internally. Eric Fenstermaker's won out, so he became creative lead.
  14. I forgot what the different colored shoulder pads represent. They signify rank or command, right? If so, that squad looks a bit top heavy.
  15. I agree with you. But this would not be such a hard sell if outcry against the radical BS by the "non-violent" Muslims wasn't so muted when it isn't non existent. Generally speaking, most people in any situation tend to stay silent. They just want to go about living their lives and not have to stick their neck out for nothing or nobody no matter their personal convictions. It's already a hot topic issue, why fan flames? There's enough backward nutjobs even in liberal California who'll soon enough cause hell, or worst if they identify you as being muslim.
  16. Just an observation. It goes with the territory for him. He's the Codex's news guy.
  17. Well, despite that assertion being a bit comic, ISIS being contained and all (then again that's a decent weasel word). Not sure that ending torture really hurt the cause, not did limiting surveillance. Price of a free country is being open to this kind of attack and all. No, it's the price of stupidity. And Obola not only ended "torture" (which Bush already stopped for the most part, it was only used initially in a few cases), he stopped virtually all interrogation. On another subject, our borders are porous. If they weren't, deported criminals wouldn't be able to return 5,6,7 times. The reason we hadn't had a cross-border terrorist attack is the drug cartels won't allow it, they don't want the border to be closed. It's very amusing how some here try to deny that radical Islam is responsible for the attacks. No one is denying that radical moslems are responsible. People are just saying that not all of the moslems are radicals. I do not know if your media already mentioned it, but the attacks were executed in places, where many foreign nationalities live alongside French people without having any issues. I would say, this was one of the reasons behind the attack, hoping that the people living there start to hate each other... Accurate.
  18. Why do you care so much Infinitron's posting style? 1) He's generally well connected within the CRPG community. 2) It's a good, albeit sensationalist, headline.
  19. I can only predict where this topic is gonna go. Anyways, without trying too hard to stir up a hornets nest, looks like MCA lost a power play with Project Eternity whether due to being overruled, sucking at internal politics, or his ideas being plain bad. Adam and Josh were the clear project leads from the onset and Fenstermaker's pitch beat out Avellone's, despite Chris probably being the odds on favorite to take the creative lead position.
  20. Yeah that was Malaysia I think. Indonesia is a little more complicated - while Islamic-motivated persecution of religious minorities definitely exists there, and sometimes even in very severe forms, it is AFAIK much more localized to certain areas of the country, and not backed by national government institutions. Accurate.
  21. *Raises hand* But I'm following because I care about the state of legalized online gambling. How come no one is talking about the issues I care about? We already know Hillary hates gamers.
  22. It's all calculated; the masterminds know what they're doing. They want to make life tougher in the west for mainstream and moderate muslims. Syrian passport? Play on the worst fears towards the refugees by casting doubt and xenophobia towards the refugees. In the east, they want to destabilize secularism in Muslim majority countries like Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia, Lebanon, etc. The propaganda machine is working. Make it a black and white world of Islam versus Crusaders and eliminate all shades of gray. Even better for them that the west casts Sunnis and Shiites together if they can get them to fight their enemies as well. And we're all trending to buy it hook, line, and sinker.
  23. The Pacers ain't bad. I gave them an Over on 42.5 wins in my preseason rankings. The Nuggets though...they ain't gonna do much with what the garbage they're currently wearing. Until they decide to fully commit with going back to their Alex English, Michael Adams, Doug Moe, and early Dikembe Mutombo era uniforms --basketball will continue to only draw 9,000 to a game.
  24. http://youtu.be/4iQ2cHuZ0xE Casablanca moment. Singing La Marseillaise while being evacuated from the match.
