  1. Fascist Reagan Democrat Papist ...Then there's Oliver Queen
  2. Golf. AWD. Station wagon. DSG and maybe manual transmission? That's like the perfect car.
  3. I believe. I believe. I believe in. I believe in Buddy Hield. I believe in Buddy Hield. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOpw-WTPavc
  4. Warriors v Celtics at Oakland. Processing...Processing...Processing...
  5. Got you covered, bud. That's why I took Bruce's bullet for you.
  6. You're not looking at the undeclared column. 177,579. I live in the Bay Area. San Diego is probably the most beautiful city in California. Big Navy/Marine town. Lots of Marines and sailors retire there. Hell, my brother is an airman and he plans on living there after he gets his twenty years.
  7. Nice one brutha Manifes in a place like San Diego I assume voting demographic is Democratic ? https://www.sandiego.gov/sites/default/files/legacy/city-clerk/pdf/voterstats.pdf Lots of undeclared. Many of these are military and they lean conservative. San Diego generally tends to elect Republicans.
  8. Shouldn't all this belong in Josh Sawyer's cars thread? http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/25210-my-new-car/?fromsearch=1 It needs another revival.
  9. Fair enough. I'm a democrat and you're a libertarian.
  10. Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo
  11. I also don't want to see the government gridlocked into in-action by a toxic and non-functioning legislature. Even the Athenians had the sense to appoint a tyrant in times of crisis. I'm not proposing autocratic rule, but using a business analogy, the CEO/Chairman of the Board should have authority over the rest of the board to be the final decision maker and guide the agenda.
  12. The era of weak executive branches started to go out of favor when horseless carriages started to pop up. And even before then, we had Presidents who asserted their authority: Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, and Abraham Lincoln. Afterwards came the period when Presidents acted like a presiding figurehead more or less...atleast until Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson. After Wilson, we had weak presidencies up until FDR got elected. There's been no turning back since. (This is a good thing)
  13. I suppose you right, a Trump nomination does help Hilary But I am also concerned with the overall low level of general political decorum that has been almost forced and embellished on the Republican party through Trumps antics...its not that positive Not like there hasn't been precedence. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caning_of_Charles_Sumner Also this:
  14. Haha. Wow, this thread has transitioned to the NIT. Shawn Bradley and Jimmer Fredette are shaking their heads.
  15. I don't understand why you would build a downtown football stadium? It's not going to be a boon for downtown business (only 8-10 games a year and not like there's a big market for stadium concerts). Lots of wasted prime real estate space for very little utility. I've also always associated football games with tailgate parties. Can't do that without a ginormous parking lot. Also, say no to publicly financed stadiums.
  16. lol: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/83320-project-louisiana-not-fallout-related/?p=1793728
  17. Look up Joel Osteen and his views on wealth accumulation.
  18. That's my point. They are heretics and not true men of the cloth.
  19. Not knowing the context of the discussion, but why would it be annoying? If you can't have debate on class and society in institutions of higher learning, where can you?
  20. We have all sorts of obscenely rich televangelists in America; Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, Joel Osteen, among others. I ignore them. They are heretics. There were also some big scandals in the 80's. *edit* can't find the official music video. It was good satire.
  21. Just brandish him a heretic and be done with it.
  22. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnWpnmhGAhU It's a legit question.
  23. Went through the first 8 eps. Really liking Punisher and Elektra characterizations.
  24. Then you have significant reading comprehension and inferencing problems. That was their seventh loss of the season. Dropping them below .900. Warriors offense can only be stopped by a combination of Steph Curry not making shots and a sublime defensive performance. Curry shot terribly and the Spurs held the Warriors to only 79 points. In other news...Anthony Davis is shut down for the rest of the year.
  25. Spurs defense was just too good. Golden State couldn't even cover the spread (Spurs -4.5).
