I can see a couple - Wenger as the one guy insisting on using lower cost gear that breaks all the time, Mourinho as the insufferable ass who blames everyone else. Those two plus van Gaal and Rodgers. They are stirring **** up in the Wastelands. I imagine van Gaal is insisting that even though the team is just barely scraping through fights his tactics are sound, and that he just needs more time (and lots, lots more bandages) until they actually start to pay off...

So guys. The other day I saw this rather chubby looking fellow, and of course I had to remind him of my physical superiority. So I stood in front of him in my best Johnny Bravo pose and told him: "Gaze upon my noble physique and contemplate suicide!". For some reason this dude started laughing, so I told him firmly that this wasn't the correct response and that he should feel bad about himself. Then he told me that he was quite happy with himself, that he had a steady job and a nice girlfriend and that he didn't feel any need to be unhappy. Seriously, the nerve of that guy! I shook my fist at him and left angrily, convinced that something just wasn't quite right in the world.

I know, right? It's terrible. The other day I was walking down the street when some overweight person started poking me in the ribs and started making healthy person jibes. And the worst thing was, he was only slightly overweight! I bet he was almost as healthy and fit as me.

An unfortunate lack of Penguin in the latest Gotham episode. This simply won't do. Hints of another villain, but the producers are rather vague about it. I give it a 6 out of 10. Must try harder. And include more Penguin.

The UK Antarctic Heritage Trust (UKAHT) needs committed individuals (of any nationality, but able to participate in selection and training in the UK) to make up a team of four to spend five months (November–March) running the shop, post office, maintenance and museum operation at Port Lockroy, on the tiny Goudier Island off the Antarctic Peninsula. Port Lockroyis visited each Austral summer by approx.18,000 ship-borne visitors amounting to two ship visits per day. During the short summer period approximately 70,000 items of mail are cancelled. Goudier Island is also home to 2,000 gentoo penguins.Living conditions are comfortable though basic with no mains power, heat or water, and limited communications. It really depends what you mean with political correctness. If it means that people aren't allowed to point out a crime because it is perpetrated by a minority, then I think anyone will agree that it is silly. If it means that you should be able to say that all Pakistani are rapists because of the events described in the OP, then I think we're edging toward where saying such things are harmful. In the end though, forbidding people from saying things doesn't solve that people actually think certain things, so it doesn't really fix anything. It's a conundrum though. Let's say you were in charge of the Weimar republic, and you had the knowledge that you have today... Would you crack down on the Nazi party? Would you forbid "Mein Kampf"? Would you take mister funny moustache and throw him into the deepest dungeon you could find? I would be tempted to, personally. But wouldn't that be denying people free speech and democratic process?
