48% fascist, 9% Hitler. Not bad.

The weekly bundle is the first I've seen where the "beat the average" price has gone down over time. I'm tempted now for Grim Fandango for under 3 bucks.

The seasons after 5 have their ups and downs, season 10 was terrible, but season 11 has been good so far

What dont you like about the series if you dont mind sharing? The characters, the main one in particular, are unlikeable and the pacing seems off I like the girl who got rejected/became a hedge witch. She's the most realistic character, and I'm quite interested in where her character will go now that her fiance had his memory of her wiped. I agree with the pacing. It seems like its only been a couple weeks, yet the hedge witch girl had advanced her magic enough to get like 7 tattoos, and the main guy has gotten pretty adept at the hand gestures, so it has to have been longer.

We're digging it, but the main character is kind of unlikeable.

Watched like 6 hours of Gravity Falls today. Disney XD is having a massive marathon until monday night when they air the series finale. Airing the entire series 4 times. Its extremely good. Supposedly the creator went in trying to do a cartoon aimed at 30 year olds, and was surprised how many kids got into it.

Avengers Grimm Rumpelstiltskin comes to earth where his magic allows him to take power, and Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, and Red Riding Hood Team up to stop him. It was terrible.

Which games would you like Obsidian to develop the most?
Oerwinde replied to Bleak's topic in Obsidian General
The issue is that they took a series about how your choices affect the wasteland and took out any choices that affect the wasteland. Removed skills so its more twitch gaming than character-based. Gutted the dialogue system. Basically turned one of the best RPG franchises of all time into Farcry: Post Nuclear Edition. Its not a bad game. I had fun with it. Its just a really bad Fallout game. -
Looking at the CNN results, is it a typo? How can Hillary get 15 delegates with 39% of the vote and Sanders gets 13 with 60% of the vote with them distributed proportionally?
-
CTRL + F "Gaider" 0 results? I'm guessing you were actually talking about Brent Knowles. I'm guessing is what he's referring to

The campaigns were pretty much Liberals: We're cool and optimistic, look at all the stuff we want to give you! NDP: Mulcair is cool and normal, not at all creepy, our seat count is higher than the liberals, and therefore you should vote for us. Conservative: If you don't vote for us you will lose your job and the country will collapse and the Liberals will steal all your money. Only one of those was fear mongering.

That must have been an amazing experience, how did you feel being able to do your own thing and just have a life? Of course the Meds are also working but I'm sure the experience was great I have never stayed in bed that long but for me I can do it everyday so it seems like a waste We got a lot of TV watching done. Binged the last 4 episodes of the Expanse, latest Supernatural, etc. Beat Witcher 3 last night, started AssCreed Unity this morning after Machete. Spent most of the day doing that. Went shopping and am now making red curry for dinner. No screaming, no breaking of things, just quiet. I need like a month of this. Unfortunately the kids come home tomorrow. I really have sympathy for you, even if I wasn't dealing with depression\rage I dont think I could cope with your sons naughtiness Especially if this is normal behavior, how many years is this expected? We hope it tapers down when he starts school. Having more to get his energy out on and such.

No kids, so yesterday I didn't get out oof bed until 6pm,went to the Olive Garden with the wife, filled up on soup and breadsticks, and had the leftovers for breakfast while watching Machete Kills.

Just dropped off the kids with my parents. Oh glorious freedom for 2 days.

He starts Kindergarden in september, so that will add some more structure and activities, plus give me a break on thursday/friday, so we're hoping that helps both with my stress and his ****headedness. My daughter's big event was me going upstairs to turn on the shower and get mine and her clothes ready and I come back downstairs and she has opened up her bottle of fingerpaint we thought was out of reach and painted the entire kitchen table, 2 chairs, and the floor.

He hasn't had any therapy, no. The wife is a behaviourist, but I think him being her kid kinda screws with how she does things. She has a few other mom friends, some of which said they have/are going through something similar with their boys. Seems being incredibly destructive is pretty common in 4 year old boys, and what can be done to mitigate it is incredibly difficult for us. One problem is supervision. He gets up earlier than everyone else, and has half the house destroyed before the wife gets up at 7:30. I work late and struggle to be up in time to get everything done in time to get him to daycare and myself to work. His independence is a problem, when she was his age she would just watch tv in bed with me while I slept, if she got hungry she would wake me up for food. With him, he gets hungry, he goes to get it himself, then stays downstairs and gets into everything. The earrings he did during the half hour or so between when the wife leaves and my alarm goes off. Another is activities. Its winter time in BC, which means rain, rain, and more rain. So playing outside isn't happening. He's better behaved in the summer when we can take him outside and run off some steam. He definitely has a problem with authority. He tries to give me ultimatums, which never works out in his favour. We were also thinking he was feeding off my irritation and rage. Its hard to tell him its wrong to break people's things only for me to fly off the handle and break stuff. He's always had anger issues though. Mine have only been in maybe the last 6 months to a year.

Hey, I got a couple free games from subscribing to the Paradox one.

Looks like the drugs may be working. Walking the kids back from picking up the girl is usually the worst part of my day and leaves me mentally exhausted and unable to deal with them when we get home. They have been generally uncooperative in cleaning up their messes and have had several breakdowns but I haven't even been close to losing my cool. Edit: Kids in bed, didn't lose my cool all day. Saw that he had dumped his sister's prescription eye drops and broke the nail clippers and managed to resist the urge to go in and punch him while he slept.

The Witcher Extended Edition, Should I play it?
Oerwinde replied to HawkSoft's topic in Computer and Console
I really enjoyed it. Pirated the regular version, and stopped playing about 10 hours in when I found out the EE was coming. Paid $60 for the physical copy and started over. Think of it kind of like Diablo, if Diablo was a much deeper RPG experience with meaningful choice and consequences. Combat isn't that bad, they just basically wanted to break up the monotonous clicking and added a timing function to chain combos. -
My girl would sneak candy and play with stuff she shouldn't, was especially adept at getting into the cleaners, but the boy is just so destructive. He's smart too, he figured out how to bypass baby gates by 18 months, and is way better at hiding his tracks than his sister. He is also much more independent. She would always want to be with us, ask us for food and drinks, he wants something, he gets it himself.
-
The boy flushed every one of his sisters and mothers earrings, including the superhero/sci-fi ones the wife gets at Fan Expo every year. He claims there is a vegetable in his throat that controls his actions.

Happened to me once. Worked late was sleeping in, about 9 am I hear a crash and thumping and shouting upstairs. Turned out the previous tennant was wanted and had a registered firearm so they sent a tactical team. Landlord wasn't impressed because she was there with a key but they broke down the door anyway.
