I think the main thing that people were pissed about the patriot act was that it allowed people to be held without being charged and without trial as long as they were suspected terrorists.

Uwe Boll needs to stop directing and just produce. He's an amazing deal-maker. How else could he get all those properties with all the crap he's done before. On a side note, I went to school with someone who was in Alone in the Dark :D

... which was discarded in favour of his ultimate suit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> His Ultimate suit and his Season 2/3 Evolution suit are completely different. His season 2/3 suit is all black with yellow stripes, while his ultimate suit has a brown and black shirt with black pants. Ultimate X-Men design: X-Men Evolution Design (Couldn't find better pictures)

I'm gonna have to go with Thriller.

Yup.

Joe Shuster co-created him with Jerry Seigel. Joe was born and raised in Canada, and during the depression moved to the US to find work. Where he met Jerry Seigel and co-created Superman. The Canadian Iron Man was lame. He lived underwater in a bubble city and was made of iron.

Who is the world's first Canadian superhero? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Canadian created, or Canadian character? Created: Iron Man, not the same as the current known Iron Man Canadian Character: Nelvana. Also the first female superhero.

Vin's a good 2nd choice. Jason Statham would have been better.

Wolverine has sort of only had two costumes his official blue and yellow (ok three if you count the early version) and the brown and gold. The rest weren't costumes he just didn't bother to get into uniform (guess there's little reason to protect your identity when you don't even know who you are). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, he also did have his Ultimate X-Men suit too, and his X-Men Evolution suit.

What are your Ability Scores?

Don't bother getting both. Each HoM&M game is just the game before it with graphical enhancements. Just get 4 and don't bother with the previous ones.

Oh I think its terrible what it seems like they're doing. Though I don't understand what they're talking about with the rehash thing. From how they describle the plot it sounds like a father who loves his son and wants his son to be normal so badly that he's willing to sacrifice others to do so, while X2 was a father resenting his son so much that he was willing to kill an entire race out of spite. The mutant "cure" storyline has been something they did in both the comics and the old 90s cartoon, so I see nothing wrong with doing it. Its the small but important bits that seem out of whack, rather than the overall picture. Eliminating 4 major characters in one movie seems a bit much. The Cyclops thing I see as too much like Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat Annihilation. A cheap, quick death that just wastes the character's possibilities. Magneto wiping out the Golden Gate Bridge to escape sounds like it will be an amazing scene though. From that report, it looks as though theres a good balance of good and bad about the movie, while the other two films had more good than bad. But at least its better than a lot of movies out there where the bad outweighs the good.

The Nomad was awesome. A handheld Genesis, years before the GBA came out and is basically a handheld SNES.

If they absolutely HAD to go with stars for the voices, I don't think he'd be a bad Prime. But they should go in this order: 1) Peter Cullen, 2) Gary Chalk, 3) Neil Kaplan, 4) George Clooney.

http://aint-it-cool-news.com/display.cgi?id=20369 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh well, I don't often read AICN I just know the general opinion towards him in the industry is that he's unreliable. Doesn't mean the site is, just that he is, since as you say he mostly does reviews, thats ok.
-
Harry reported that George Clooney was cast as optimus prime in the TF movie. Don Murphy, one of the producers said he was full of it and no one has even been approached yet, let alone cast. Don doesn't like Harry because he's unreliable in his news coverage. Moriarty on the other hand, is very reliable, and I believe him and... Quint is it? Are the people who do most of the reporting.

Global Frequency was a comic by Warren Ellis about Miranda Zero, an ex spy who puts together a secret disaster response agency of 1001 members called Global Frequency. Each member is just an average person who happens to be good at something. It could be physics, gymnastics, computer programming, even sci-fi knowledge. If you're the best at something, chances are you'll be on the global frequency. Each member is kept in contact with Miranda Zero by Aleph, the network operator/hacker through the special phones they get, which are pretty much just really advanced blackberries. The network exists to protect ordinary people from the various black projects gone wrong that governments don't want their people to know about. They answer only to Miranda Zero, and she doesn't care who she pisses off as long as she saves lives. The show is pretty much that, except that while the comic's only common characters in each story were Miranda and Aleph, the show also had Sean and Katrina, because the writer figured that they needed viewpoint characters, but the audience could never know what Miranda was thinking, so she couldn't be it. If you have bittorrent, download it. The more people who know of it and like it, the better the chance of someone picking it up.

AICN has a reputation for being full of it, to the point that when they do manage to report something that no one else does, people are surprised when it turns out to be true. Well, at least Harry is considered to be full of it. Moriarty is usually accurate. I'd say the site is accurate about 60% of the time. Which is a better % than IMDB. Variety and Dark Horizons are the only really credible sources, but Dark Horizons only covers genre films and you have to pay for Variety. CHUD is my news site of choice. All the personality of AICN, with more accuracy, and MUCH easier on the eyes. (AICN has one of the worst designed pages I've seen), they don't often get exclusives though. If you decide to check out CHUD, just be warned that Devin is a ****. A hilarious ****, but a **** nonetheless. A lot of people are offended by him, to the point that CHUD sells "Devin Sucks" T-shirts.

Emma Frost.

Excellent! That means we can rip it to shreds. ^_^ For starters, the normally ultra-cool Wolverine now looks like a hideous monstrosity - what, was the "artist" trying to make a cross between King Kong the Gorilla Man and Batman the Rapist? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not to mention that black goo all over Wolverine and Cyclops.
-
It sounded like it was going to be good too. I don't mind Gambit being simply a cameo, as he's not a very interesting character, but killing off Cyclops is lame, making Mystique not a mutant anymore is lame, while Wolvie and Storm were lovers in the comics, making it a purely sexual relationship is lame.

So John Rogers the screenwriter thinks this whole leak and the aftermath of it is interesting. Thinks its great that the show is about regular people acting outside authority to make a difference, and now regular people are acting outside authority to try to get it picked up. He's apparently been contacted by people wanting to start fansites, letter writing campaigns, etc., and his site got 4000 new unique visitors since the leak hit the net.

I own 15 PS2 titles. 11 of them are PS2 exclusives. I also own around 20 PSX games that I play on my PS2, all of them were exclusives. I will likely buy a PS3 so I can play all of those, as well as the likely many PS3 exclusives that I will enjoy. If any games come out for Xbox 360 that aren't on PS3 or PC that I'm interested in, I'll get one of those. That unfortunately didn't happen with the Xbox this gen, as every game for Xbox that I was interested in either had a PC or PS2 version. Eliminating my need for an Xbox. The only game I missed out on was Jade Empire, but no single game is worth buying a console over. I need at least 3 games to make the system worth it.
