Basically from what I've heard, they needed to hire Bay as a cinematographer, and hire a talented director for everything else. I assume it was just cheaper to get Bay for the whole thing.

There are several things wrong with this idea. First of all, Activision has the rights to do Transformers games. 2nd of all, Hasbro has nothing to do with Atari other than Infogrames buying Hasbro Interactive a few years back. 3rd of all, a Transformers RPG would suck royal ass. Especially with the NWN 2 engine. A TF RPG would have serious limitations on character appearance, as the Robot mode should reflect the Alt-Mode meaning each alt mode in the game would likely only have one robot mode, because it would be a LOT of work to have multiple robot modes for the same alt-mode because they all have to be able to transform into the same vehicle. So likely what you would get would be a choice of 3-5 alt-modes, then color choices. Which just wouldn't give the TFs justice. I just think Transformers is more suited to the action adventure genre where its more acceptible to play as pre-determined characters.

I find wikipedia more entertaining than informative. I go in thinking what I'm reading is probably at least 80% right and figure thats a decent number as long as I'm not doing research for a project or something.

I really liked Rome. Bought it on DVD. The only thing I didn't really like was that it didn't show the passage of time very well. 12 episodes showed from Caesar's rise to power to his assassination, and it felt like it all happened in a couple weeks. I also recommend Galactica, and Eureka. I personally thought Galactica just kept getting better and better. Eureka is just fun sci-fi with good characters.

And the crappy thing is its only for one day. Tomorrow I'm back to my normal schedule. And now I can't go to bed now that I'm off work because I'll just wake up fully rested at 4 in the morning and its all screwed up again.

I read the script as well. Its not a very good TF movie script. The TFs have like 15 lines total through the whole movie. But Bob Orci said on the official movie boards that they've exponentially increased the TFs lines. They've added several whole scenes with just the TFs and such. I just hope they cut the part where Spike kills megatron.

Currently 5:45 am... still haven't gotten to sleep. Not going to bother, 45 minutes of sleep will just make me feel drunk. I'll just suck back a 4 pack of red bull.

I work in the 3rd busiest subway in BC. We're located at the main skytrain station connecting to Simon Fraser University, meaning every 15 minutes we get a busload of about 80 students coming through. We only get about 10 of those per bus, but it adds up. Anyway, the manager was too shortsighted to realize it would be crazy busy once school started, AND half our staff were students, meaning they couldn't work weekdays once school started. So now its the busiest time of the year, and if it was the slow time of the year, we'd still be understaffed. And because of that I have to get up at 6 in the morning to get to work because someone called in sick tomorrow. I'm used to going to bed around 3am so I couldn't get to sleep at 10pm when I was sposed to to get 8 hours of sleep. Its now 3am and I can't sleep. I have to get up in 3 hours to go to work in the 3rd busiest Subway in BC, during peak hours, understaffed. And the assistant manager is away for 3 weeks so I'm in charge while the manager goes off to do her thing.

My roommate loves him. I've seen a few and find that now when I'm cooking I tend to go "Sliiiice" and "Chopchopchop"
