Atari to revisit Baldur's Gate & NWN
Seattle's Best is a subsidary of Starbucks. Anyway, I'd like to see a 4e game where you start on the streets of Luskan and eventually either quell all the warring factions or unite them all and instill your character as the first stable leader since Deudermont.

CANADA MAY NO LONGER BE A DEMOCRACY!
There will be no election. If the conservative party is voted down then the NDP and Liberals will form a coalition government. Harper is bitching that this is a violation of democracy but the way I see it, if 50% of the popular vote is in power rather than 35% thats a triumph of democracy. And as a commonwealth nation our head of state is the Queen of England, but she has as much power as she does in the UK. Which amounts to nothing. Its purely symbolic, and much like British royalists, I would be upset if the monarchy was abolished as well, its part of our history and heritage.

What kind of future settings is Obsidian planning?
Another vote for steampunk. Arcanum would have been the best game ever if it wasn't for the terrible graphics, combat, and stat system.

Suggestions for NWN2 NX3
After playing SoZ, I say no more races and classes. We have enough that even after changing the party limit to six, I still couldn't create all the combos I wanted. Instead focus those resources enriching the content we already have. Each race needs more heads, we need more hairstyles, more armor models, more weapon models(like an actual flail). Rapiers need their own combat animations, etc. After that I say set the XP in Maztica. You're a major part of an Amnish colony freshly established and you play a major part in its development. Migrate the trading mechanics from SoZ over to this but basically make it a big combo of Crossroad keep and the trading company. You can establish trade with other colonies and native villages, but trading with some will cause others to deny you and who you establish relations with determines who you can recruit and what you can build in your colony. The story could lead up to when the spellplague hits and Maztica is transferred to Abeir.

NWN2: Storm of Zehir is out!
The trading system is bugged. I need a bunch of resources to upgrade my trade company so I trekked out to each town to get enough of all resources, and sent them back to Crossroad keep, but when I got there it had each of the resources, but no quantity.

NWN2: Storm of Zehir is out!
The most frustrating part I've found so far is how I need to transfer items between party members 5 or 6 times before it actually transfers it. It got so frustrating I actually yelled at the game. Girlfriend looked pretty startled when I yelled "GIVE HIM THE ****ING AXE". Also, playing around the toolset and finding only one new armor model is disappointing.

New XBox Experience!
They need to release some transformers clothing packs and make sure hair and facial hair blend better and bam exact likeness.

NWN2: Storm of Zehir is out!
If you're going to whine about the price of expansions, whine at Blizzard. 50 bucks for an expansion for a game you already pay 15 bucks a month for. Slightly more irritating than paying 30 bucks for the expansion to a 60 buck game.

Do you know many women slobs?
My ex girlfriend, her mom, my other ex, her mom, my current girlfriend, her mom... this seems to be a trend...

Suggestions for NWN2 NX3
Josh isn't going to start it until there are no more XPs in development. The last two posts I remember seeing from him about it were "I'm waiting for Mask of the Betrayer so I can use some of the improvements it adds" and "I'm waiting for Storm of Zehir so I can use some of the improvements it adds"

Which Fallout was the greatest?
I've hated every game Bethesda has released. I love Fallout 3. Just think of it as a first person spinoff instead of a sequel if it helps. If you don't want to pay full price, your call and understandable, but take it from a fellow Bethesda hater that its not worth missing out on the game just because its Bethesda, they actually managed to pull off a decent game here.

Which Fallout was the greatest?
While I'm thouroughly enjoying Fallout 3 and in my eyes Bethesda has redeemed themselves with it, its still not as good as the first two. I preferred FO1 and 2 beefing up the play time with sidequests, where Bethesda beefed up the playtime with wandering the empty wasteland. And FO2 wins me over with the sheer amount of stuff to do in it.

Suggestions for NWN2 NX3
There are enough races and subraces and such in the game now. I say add content to expand on the ones we currently have. More appearance customization, a plethora of race specific quests and such. Maybe have the story deal with one of the dwarven or elven kingdoms so we can see something from a not so human viewpoint. I'd also like to see another expanded Crossroad Keep type feature. Maybe building from an initial settlement up to a fortified castle town throughout the game.

BioWare/Lucas Arts game unveiled Oct 21
Yeah, MMO sales charts are enough to call bull on that statement. Aren't single player games still outselling MMOs by like 3 to one at least? But then you look at WoW making 80 million a month, wider audience my aunt fanny.

Canadian Election 2008
Some quick research finds that there was a fixed election date bill in the commons but under it Harper wouldn't have been able to call this election, it would have had to come from a no-confidence vote.

Canadian Election 2008
I mainly vote NDP in the hopes that they'll be in a position to push through some of the issues they champion such as proportional representation, fixed election dates, marijuana decriminalization/legalization, etc. I don't expect them to ever form the government, nor would I want to outside of maybe a minority. I just find their views on social issues are the closest to my own. I like some of the programs supported by other parties, but I like the general NDP values. IMO it is stupid to vote for a party that doesn't match your values. Aside: Another victory for the first past the post system. The Bloc gets 10% of the popular vote and 50 seats, the NDP gets 18% of the popular vote and 37

Canadian Election 2008
Well, that was uneventful. NDP picked up a few seats, liberals lost a few, Conservatives picked up a couple more, and we have a conservative minority again. See you again in 1-2 years. The way Canadian people vote bothers me. If people voted for who they wanted to win rather than against the people they don't things would be better IMO. It was amazing how many people said they would vote NDP if they were voting, but they're not because someone elses vote would just cancel theirs out, or they were going to vote NDP but voted Liberal because they figured they had a better chance of winning, then having the Liberal candidate in their riding come third.

Just hope he doesn't disappoint as Cobra Commander.

Stracraft 2 is now three games
Considering its still 40 bucks for Burning Crusade, a year old expansion pack, I wouldn't doubt it either.

Movies you have seen recently
The Onion Movie. Basically the Onion, done up like a CNN type channel with various skits and such. I found it enjoyable. Not for the easily offended.

What's up with games that don't feature subtitles?
I also hate how the default subtitle setting is off. Playing GTA 4 I played through the intro until I got to the part where I could actually control it, then enabled subtitles and restarted the game because I didn't hear anything from the intro. Or then you have the subtitles from Dead Rising, where some dialogue isn't spoken so you have to rely on them, but you can only read them if you're sitting 6 inches from the screen.

Canadian Election 2008
No, I like minority governments because the parties with fewer seats actually matter and are somewhat able to push for their platform where in a majority they're pretty crippled.
