I think it combines achievements and gamerscore with XBL as well.

I can on some level accept that they're going with Jason X as the design for Cobra Commander, as there have been several Cobra Commander designs, but Baroness has always been eastern european noblety. Making her an American and the sister of Cobra Commander is just dumb. And making Destro the leader of Cobra and CC wrests control from him is dumb as well. Destro has always been the head of MARS and was a weapons dealer and supporter of Cobra, he was never its leader, even though a lot of people wished he was.

Sorry, just been on a few boards the last few days and with various clips and stuff coming out there was just so many people who rip into these brands like they are **** because they started with a toy. Yes it started with the toy, but without the comics and cartoons there wouldn't be any interest in adapting them into movies in the first place.

New Monkey Island series announced
Oerwinde replied to SteveThaiBinh's topic in Computer and Console
its not exactly a port. The graphics have been updated, new backgrounds and character models, but built on the old engine so other than graphics and updated sound and voice acting is the same game -
I really hate it when uninformed people talk like they know things. GI Joe had a comic line under Marvel that ran 155 issues. It had a Devil's Due run that ran 80 issues. It had numerous limited series and one shots. The average comic storyline runs 6 issues, averaging to over 40 storylines. Plus 3 cartoon series and a TV movie. There is a plethora of source material that isn't just the packaging for the toys. The situation is similar for Transformers. The toys were actually the worst part of the brand.

http://www.superherohype.com/news/gijoenew...&offset=125 Clip from the new GI Joe movie. I hope Lorenzo di Boneventura gets cancer. Stephen Sommers I just hope never works in Hollywood again. American Baroness? Storm Shadow with a gun and a suit? Snake Eyes with a big rubber mouth? WTF? I just sat there with a disgusted look on my face as soon as she said "Nice shoes"

The ES mod community did a fab job with both Morrowind and Oblivion. They took what shipped as a woeful broken game (both really though MW less so)and made it playable. Bethesda should be paying THEM, really. I haven't really done much with FO3 mods since the game is much better and doesn't really need them (at least for me) plus the fact the current 1.5 FO3 patch apparently makes many mods unusable, but I can only assume that the FO3 mod community has also done good work there as well. The only FO3 mods that are worth a damn appear to be: Enclave Commander, which allows you to bring a squad of grunts with you, similar to in Operation Anchorage. Foundation: Which adds a ton of stuff to Canterbury commons, none of which I can access dut to the recent patch The Settler: Allows you to build your own village and control it somewhat like a RTS, with resource gathering, building upgrades, etc. Currently pre-beta and not much publicly released, but the stuff I've been testing has been fantastic. All the other mods are pretty much either reskins or equipment mods.

I was disappointed that they deviated from their initial plan. They were originally going to do a trilogy based on the various ages of comics. Golden Age, which was the first game, with the campy super-patriotic characters and such. Silver age, which is slightly less campy and delivered most of our iconic characters. Then the modern age, with all the cheesy anti-heroes and such.

Two quarters from ancient rome that are worth thousands each. I bought a DS and played it for about a week, when I realized I hadn't touched it in a year I got a PSP, which I use quite often. Sometimes as a game system, but mostly as a portable media device.

Spent a couple hours on the Champions Online beta today. Its basically City of Heroes only way better.

I'm happy to have this option. The fact is, we'd just end up with two different ceremonies. One would be civil and the other would be religious. The way I envision it is the civil union is just a contract, if you want a religious marriage to also be a civil union you just sign the contract during the ceremony. If you want a civil ceremony its also an option but not necessary.

I don't think a Predator remake is such a bad idea, though one that goes a little more in depth with the predators would be preferrable. Alien doesn't need a remake, it stands up to this day. There are other stories to tell.

I think government just needs to get out of Marriage. Have marriage as a religious/symbolic ceremony as its always been, with no recognition under the law for same-sex or opposite-sex couples, then have civil unions being the legally recognized union. Everyone's happy because everyone is equal.

Until recently I actually thought he was doing some good over there. Using their vast oil wealth to supply the poor with food and build schools and universities and such. Now he's into the power corrupts phase.

Something similar happened in Sicko, a guy was denied treatment so he contacted his insurance company and said he was going to tell his story to Michael Moore who was doing a documentary on the US medical system. Within days his treatment was approved.

Here's hoping that NV does well enough to let OBS have a go at Van Buren again. I know its not likely but looking at the stuff from the design docs on the Vault, I really would like to see the game Josh, MCA, and the rest of the crew were crafting. The Reservation sounded super awesome.

I don't support the death penalty because of the many cases where people are found guilty then 10-20 years later are found to actually be innocent. At least at that point they can be released and live out whats left of their lives, if you kill them then the state murdered an innocent. Now what should be looked at is parole. When prisoners are examined at the end of their sentence and are found to be a high risk to reoffend, don't release them.

I think the main reason Volourn is here is to take the contrary opinion to the rest of the community. Otherwise everyone would agree with each other and it would be a harmonious utopia and the world would explode from the existence of such perfection. So its a good thing he's here or we'd all not exist.

V I believe is just a 12 part miniseries, so its possible she had/has time for both. At least I hope she does, she's become one of the more likeable characters on Lost.

She's still Tracy, but her ice power has evolved to a more broad water manipulation power. I personally found Tracy to be a better character than Nikki. And am I the only one who still finds the show very enjoyable?

Bethsoft actually did a decent job of this in The Pitt. When it comes down to your choice at the end, you are actually somewhat torn as to what to do, because there are virtues to both sides. I'm not totally against some black and white parts, but most evil people do evil because they believe they are doing good.

Every time Fallout sequels come up I bring up the topic of the lunar colonies. Fallout Bible mentions that they existed, but we don't know if they survived the war, I'd like to find out.

Well, the black hole wasn't right next to earth, they went through warp for a while, and the jamming was a side effect of the drilling laser.
