How do u get better loot?

Okay, heres an analogy. Now everyones has heard of Lord the Rings. lets suppose the producers of the movie just released LOTR part3, but part3 doesn't have frodo, or the ring, or even sauron. Now using your logic we should still pay to watch part 3 because it doesn't have to be the same to be enjoyable. hahahaha great post.

Wow! I am amazed to see that people are still defending the ISSUES. Really... this co-op thing is an ISSUE, a PROBLEM... is not about "this game is focused on story" or "this is not the genre"... of course this is the genre, also this was supposed to be DUNGEON SIEGE. Sure, we can have fun playing this game alone or in co-op, but the fact is that multiplayer is not the way it should be. It is a step back. You know what game played like this?? CHAMPIONS OF NORRATH. Yes! this game, which launched in the last generation, had a co-op just like this one. I am curious to see what the reviews will say.

Feedback from other forums

This could be easily avoided if the devs really listened to the fans feedback before releasing the game. Or they cuold have seen how the other DS -

-Polymorph Spells wut? -Taking back with your character all the things you got playing in co-op you're missing the big picture -No online screen sharing I could agree with that, I wonder if there's a reason behind that decision other than time constraints -Item crafting pfft, pah-lease -Runes never worked in any of the games I've played. imo, leaving this crap out is a good thing -Tons of spells and enough skills for other playthroughs you have four different classes with different skills, that will have you covered for months, if that's the on;y thing you look for in video games -Man/Female for all classes this is just stupid, not going into that, some people really need to see a psychiatrist -Equal XP/Gold sharing in co-op it's not in DS3? so what are the good things anyway? How is s/he missing the big picture? There are 9 skills per 4 classes (36, just in case you needed help) thats about as many as 1 of the 7 classes in diablo 2. Theres no argument for anything you said, "pfft, pah-lease" is an agrument against item crafting? Diablo 2 had crafting, and that game was releases ages ago, lol. not getting rewards in co-op is epic fail; theres not getting around that. Honestly, I hope the SP and couch co-op and story are amazing, I really do. I'm not getting my hopes up though. haha he is probably just a troll. Everything I pointed out is pretty default in any Action/RPG these days. Polymorph spells was one of the most fun things featured in DS1. Good times... -

Making a sequel, IMO, is getting all the good things the prequels did well, make it better and include in the sequel (plus the other things devs may find cool) What I think should be in this sequel: -Polymorph Spells -Co-op did it right -Taking back with your character all the things you got playing in co-op -No online screen sharing (I can live with that in local co-op tho, if the game is huge and the feature would be hard to implement, like in Sacred 2) -Item crafting -Runes -Tons of spells and enough skills for other playthroughs -Man/Female for all classes -Equal XP/Gold sharing in co-op That -

This is not Sacred 2 fault. You should have played with people that know how to play together. I played Sacred 2 with lots of different friends and we always managed to stay together without (thank GOD) the shared screen. -

? Is there a problem with the review code? Because there are sure as hell different armors. I think there are different types of armors and not every single armor is different looking. Not sure what they were expecting though, it's almost impossible to make every single piece of armor/item unique for a loot-heavy game. I guess they could've randomized them some more, but it probably fell out of the scope of the project. Have you heard of Titan Quest? Not only Titan Quest, but Too Human, Sacred 2, Silverfall, Torchlight and the list goes on. Actually, it is pretty common in this kind of genre being able to see the looks of your recent acquired armor/weapon.

I'm not sure...I can't imagine that's totally true. I noticed some of the swords I found had extra effects (glowing, ect) but the base of it looked similar. Armor...pretty sure everything I found was basically the same base model with different stat effects. But it's very early in the game so I'm guessing different item models do show up and reflect on your character. If not, this would be a mistake on Obsidian's part of epic proportions, I mean so huge I really can't imagine they would make it. YES! This kind of game needs that. It is one of the major parts of this genre. God, even Dragon Age 2 changed the appearence of the characters, and it is a game really focused on story. This will really be a mistake of epic proportions. EPIC!

so am I. DS is not an RPG even putting an "A" in front of it doesn't qualify it as one. Does it matters the game genre? People could call Diablo and DS shooters, but they still are similar games. Torchlight, DS, Sacred, Diablo, Silverfall... they all share something in common.

Demo - You call that voice acting/good dialogue?
rafoca replied to Beemer's topic in Dungeon Siege III: General Discussion
I was afraid this would happen. I bet that when reviews come out, they will say the story are not great as stated, therefore, they should have focused more on gameplay and multiplayer aspects. When you have a crappy voice acting it ruins the immersion and detracts us of the story, cause it starts to feel cheesy, like in Two Worlds 1.
