  1. BTW, based on the videos I
  2. So pretty much what you are implying is if a game doesn't have top notch graphics the company is bad in other aspects as well (because of some **** quality youtube videos and a game using outdated GameBryo engine). Yeah, graphics don't make the game, but apparently it tells everything about the company Show me a company that makes a game using Bethesda's Gamebryo look spectacular on 360/ps3 in a very limited time with certain budget restraints put up by the publisher (they can't hire gazillion artists to work on the game). Alpha Protocol looked just like pretty much any other Unreal engine game that came out in 2009. Matt-C has a point, Flouride. THere is a lot of games out there that are both complex and also have great gaphics (Oblivion was awesome at the time - Red Dead Redemption is another good example), and it is weird when you see a game that is ugly and don
  3. Several people here, including me, knew that not talking too much about online functions was weird. I
  4. That is true. I have 100 friends in my xbox live list, but I am the most active in the forums out there. It is basically me that give the friends info on games. When I told them about how the camera and co-op would work, a lot of them got disappointed. But I like to tell them because here, in Brazil, we pay almost 3 times the price you guys pay in America and EU, so peoploe here must know what they are buying.
  5. I see yor point, buddy. I bet I will enjoy DS3, but the camera thing (which I didn
  6. The henchman co-op was first seen in Fable 2... co-op partner was not able to do anything, even get itens and stuff. Sacred 2 co-op rox and it should be used as a model to RPG/ACTION games. You do not save the story progress to your character, but this is a good thing in fact, because it will allow for more replayability. I mean... you have your Seraphin and you finished the game with your friend (which was the host), then he can join your own game later and finish it with you. I think that is awesome! Fable 2 co-op sux, DS3 (it seems) may suck too, but Sacred 2 rules, my vriend
  7. This kind of co-op will only be enjoyable if, everytime you play the game, you do it with the same friends. Otherwise, peoeple wont have much fun using a charatcer they didn
  8. Firstly thanks for taking the time out to respond. It
  9. You must be kidding me. I can
  10. You must be kidding me. I can
  11. That solves the questions. Co-op, unfortunately, will be as I thought: progress and characters saved on the host. But ok... I wont let this turn me down. Day one for me
  12. I dont know what to thjink anymore. I just read another new interview and the devs there say that in co-op only the host gets everything: http://www.co-optimus.com/article/5909/new...iled-again.html
  13. Console owners know how much time can take for a patch to arrive on XBL/PSN, so delaying the game is good new in fact.
  14. From what we know. Yes. http://www.destructoid.com/obsidian-explai...ns-195120.phtml C2B, my sincere apologies. You were right all the time about co-op, man. I don
  15. I will certainly miss the option to have pets in co-op mode and make them grow giving them weapons and items to eat. I will also miss the option to choose "nature magic" or "combat magic" based characters. But I will only know if the game will be better than the others when I play it. I am not holding my breath though
  16. You know, we just need now a helicopter and some missile launcher
  17. I was reading some of the youtube comments (based on the link above) of people saying this game should be on consoles. The argument was based on the fact the game has changed. Well... games change because of developers decisions, not to acommodate on consoles. Torchlight remains the same game even now it is playable on XBOX. People don
  18. *Facepalm* Ok, I'll stop. Please people continue to ignore what we actually know about co-op so far or how the games content is actually focused regarding the co-op experience/gameplay. We'll see when the game comes out. I didnt get it. Are you saying all these recent PAX previews are not really certain about how online co-op will work? That quote above is from IGN...look at the title of the preview: "Taking Dungeon Siege III Online Looting with friends. March 11, 2011" I am sure we can have fun with this kind of co-op, but I am also sure it was not the best decision. While I like the ability to, as a co-op player, point out the answer I likie most in dialogues, I certainly don
